X For Women is the feminine half of the Clive Christian Original Collection X, a chypre fruity perfume built on a luminous peach and rhubarb opening. Pineapple, mandarin orange and bergamot sharpen the fruit while a green thread of ivy keeps it from turning syrupy. The heart is classically British: jasmine and rose laced with orris root, mignonette and lily-of-the-valley, composed and gently powdery rather than sweet. Presented in the Original Collection black flacon with its gold crown stopper, it is the natural counterpart to X For Men.
