Tbh this surprised me. I expected a darker, rougher leather scent, but Purple Suede is way smoother and more elegant than the name suggests. I get suede first, then a soft amber warmth and a touch of lavender that keeps it from feeling too dense. It’s sexy, but in a dressed-up, confident way. Not loud, not trying too hard. Kinda feels like if a leather fragrance and a polished woody-amber scent had a very expensive baby. I also appreciate that it doesn’t smell overly synthetic to me, which happens a lot in this genre. Lasts well and leaves a really nice trail for the first few hours. Absolutely full bottle worthy.
This smells like money lol. Not flashy, not trying too hard, just effortlessly chic. The suede is the star for me, but there’s also a subtle herbal freshness and a dry ambery warmth in the background that keeps it from feeling flat. I love how natural it comes across. A lot of niche leathers want to shock you; this one just sits close, smooth, and confident. It’s the kind of scent that makes you stand a little straighter. I get decent longevity, around 6-7 hours, with softer projection after the opening. For me that actually makes it more wearable.
This surprised me. I expected something darker and heavier, but Purple Suede is actually really smooth and modern. The opening has this crisp aromatic touch, then I get soft leather with a dry woody base that feels clean but still interesting. It’s not sweet, not overly animalic, and thank god not one of those screechy synthetic leather bombs. Just really balanced. I’ve worn it in cooler weather and on mild spring days and it works both times. Projection is noticeable without being too much, and I kept catching little wafts of it for hours. Easy 5 stars from me.
Huge love for this one. Purple Suede has that rare thing where it feels elegant and cozy at the same time. I pick up pepper, soft suede, and a gentle woody dryness that keeps everything neat and unfussy. No syrupy sweetness, no harsh smoke, just a really well-blended leather scent that feels super easy to reach for. I’ve gotten compliments wearing this, especially in the evening, but it also works in the daytime if you go light on sprays. Kinda gives me the same polished energy I get from Dior Homme Parfum, just less intense and more relaxed. Really, really good stuff.
This is gorgeous. Purple Suede has that soft suede/leather feel, but it never goes harsh or biker-jacket loud on me. I get this really pretty mix of lavender up top and a warm patchouli-amber thing underneath that makes it feel polished and addictive. Kinda reminds me of the more elegant side of Tuscan Leather, but way easier to wear and less aggressive. I love how refined it smells the whole way through. It projects nicely for the first few hours, then sits closer but still lasts most of the day on my skin. Super easy 5/5 for me. If you want something classy, sexy, and a little different, def try this.
Mystic Bliss is nice enough, but I kept waiting for a wow moment that never really came. On my skin I get a soft citrus opening, then something musky and a little woody underneath. It smells clean and polished, super easy to wear, and I can see it working in an office or just day to day. The problem is it feels a bit too safe for the price and the brand hype. Not bad at all, just not memorable. Performance was decent, around 5-6 hours, with pretty tame projection after the first hour. Tbh I’d wear it, but I wouldn’t be excited to own a full bottle.
This is one of those perfumes that just smells pretty and easy to like. On me, the caramel shows up fast, then I get a powdery violet and a little coffee in the background. It kinda reminds me of those designer scents that always get compliments, but this has more personality than your usual sugary floral. I love how cozy it feels without turning into a full-on dessert bomb. Super nice for fall, but I’ve used it on cooler spring days too. My only issue is the opening can feel a bit synthetic for a few minutes. After that though, it settles beautifully and stays close-ish to the skin after 4-5 hours.
This is pleasant, no question. I get caramel and vanilla the most, with a soft floral touch in the background, and it has that cozy feminine vibe that works for everyday or a casual dinner. But it also smells like a bunch of other department store perfumes mashed together. Kinda reminds me of the safer side of Black Opium, just less bold and less addictive. The good part is it’s easy to wear and not offensive at all. The downside is I forget about it five minutes later. Projection is moderate at first, then it becomes a skin scent pretty fast. Nice enough, just not something I’d hype up.
I really like this one. The coffee note is what makes it for me, because without that it would just be another sweet floral. I get a soft violet thing in the middle and then a creamy vanilla drydown that feels warm and kinda addictive. It’s feminine but not too girly, and it has that dressed-up vibe without being hard to wear. I’ve worn it to dinner and to work, so it’s pretty versatile. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars for me is that it can lean a little too sweet if you overspray. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me with decent projection the first couple hours.
This is gorgeous. Purple Suede really nails that soft suede vibe without going full biker jacket. I get this airy lavender-like feel up top, then a smooth leather and something slightly woody underneath that keeps it classy. It smells expensive and super put together, but still easy to wear. Kinda feels like if a rugged leather scent got cleaned up and dressed in a tailored coat. Performance is great too, around 7-8 hours on me with a nice scent trail for the first few hours. Honestly one of the best refined leather scents I’ve tried. Love this.
I’m obsessed with this one tbh. A lot of leather perfumes go too harsh or too smoky on my skin, but this stays plush and slightly aromatic. I get juniper and pink pepper in the opening, then that suede comes in and just melts into the skin in the best way. Super wearable, not loud, just really sexy in a quiet confident way. It kinda reminds me of Tuscan Leather if you removed the aggression and made it more polished. Lasts a solid workday for me and never turns funky. Def full bottle worthy.
I love this stuff, honestly. The suede note feels plush and expensive, and there’s this aromatic touch that reads kinda herbal to me, almost lavender-like, with a smooth woody drydown. It smells rich without being heavy, which is hard to pull off. Some leather perfumes can feel too intense or too smoky, but this one stays clean and wearable the whole time. I’ve worn it on dates and even out to dinner with friends and it just works. Got a couple compliments too. Performance is really solid, around 7-8 hours on me with pretty good projection early on. For me this is one of those bottles that feels niche in the best way.
This feels like the fragrance version of a really nice jacket. Not loud, not trendy, just smooth and confident. I get suede first, then a subtle lavender/cardamom thing that makes it feel a little aromatic and upscale. It doesn’t remind me of BR540 or Delina at all, thank god lol. Way more understated and adult. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, but the projection is pretty chill, so don’t expect beast mode. That said, I kind of love that about it. It feels personal. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is I wish the drydown had a bit more depth. Still super classy stuff.
Tbh this surprised me. I expected a generic sweet designer scent, but the coffee note gives it a nice little twist. On my skin it starts a bit sugary, then the violet comes in and makes it feel smoother and more refined. The drydown is mostly vanilla on me, warm and comforting, like a fancy sweater in perfume form. I love this in cooler weather and it’s super wearable without being boring. That said, I do wish it had a little more depth and stronger projection, because after the first hour it sits pretty close. Still, it smells really good and I totally understand the hype.
I kinda wanted to love this more than I actually do. The opening has that soft violet and coffee thing, which is really pretty and a little different, but then it settles into a creamy vanilla that feels super familiar. Not bad at all, just not memorable. It gives me designer date-night energy, like something polished and easy to wear when you don’t wanna think too hard. Performance is decent on me, around 5-6 hours, but it sits pretty close after the first hour. I can see why people like it, and I do think it smells good. Tbh though, for a 3/5, that’s exactly it: good, easy, nothing special.
This is good. Like, very good. I love how the suede is softened by a powdery violet feel on my skin, and there’s a faint woody drydown that keeps it smooth the whole way through. Nothing screechy, nothing rough. It’s the kind of scent that works in cooler weather but honestly could pass in the office too if you go light. My only real complaint is that it plays things a bit safe for a perfume called Purple Suede. I wanted a little more edge or drama. But tbh the refinement is also why I keep reaching for it. Super easy to wear and smells really well blended.
I def get why this one is popular. It has that smooth sweet-sexy thing going on, mostly from the vanilla and coffee combo, and the violet keeps it from feeling too heavy. It’s not super unique in the designer world, but it’s really well done. Kinda gives me the same easy appeal as something like Black Opium, just softer and a little more elegant. I love this for date night or when I want something cozy but still put together. Performance is solid, around 6 hours on me, maybe more on clothes. Minor flaw: if you hate sweet perfumes, this probably won’t change your mind.
I don’t dislike this at all. It has that airy woody-musky vibe with a hint of something creamy, maybe a soft vanilla thing in the background, and it smells very put together. Kinda reminds me of those luxury clean scents that try to be universally likable. That’s also why I’m only at 3/5. It never turns bad, but it never gets interesting either. If you want something subtle and easy, sure. If you want something with personality, this probably won’t do it. Sits pretty close to the skin on me after a bit, so it’s not beast mode by any means. Decent, just not special.
I wanted to love The Only One, but tbh it just feels a little confused on my skin. I do get the coffee and vanilla thing people talk about, with a soft violet touch in the background, but it never really comes together in a way that feels smooth or special. It starts nice enough, then turns kinda syrupy and generic, like a department store scent trying too hard to be sexy. Not terrible, just way below the hype for me. Performance also disappointed me — maybe 4-5 hours and then it sits super close to the skin. For the price, I expected way more personality and better staying power.
Tbh I expected way more from Mystic Bliss. The opening has a nice little citrus sparkle, and I swear there’s some soft woody/musky thing underneath, but it never really turns into anything interesting. It just sits there smelling polite and kinda vague. For the price, that’s a letdown. On my skin it went close to the skin super fast, like within an hour, and by around 4-5 hours it was basically gone. Not offensive, just boring. I kept waiting for a creamy or airy note to show up and make it feel special, but nope. This one feels overpriced and unfinished to me.
