I love this so much. Slow Dance has that cozy but dressed-up thing that Byredo sometimes nails, and here it really works. On me the cognac hits first, then this soft incense and vanilla cloud starts wrapping around everything. It feels intimate and a little mysterious without going full churchy or overly sweet. Kinda reminds me of the mood of Grand Soir, but less polished and more sensual. Performance is really solid too, I get around 7-8 hours and still catch little wafts on my sweater the next day. Super wearable in cold weather, but still special enough for a night out. Def one of the best from the brand for me.
Hot take maybe, but I prefer this over the original Mojave Ghost. The original is nice, but on me it can feel a little too airy and gone too fast. Absolu fixes that. The ambrette gives it that soft skin-like fuzz, and the vetiver underneath keeps it from becoming too fluffy or vague. There’s also this fruity touch from the naseberry/pear combo that makes it feel alive without going full fruity-floral. Kinda reminds me of the way Delina Exclusif smooths out the original Delina, not in smell, just in how it feels more complete. This one is smoother, deeper, and honestly more worth the money to me.
This one surprised me. I expected something heavier, but Slow Dance feels really balanced on skin. The incense gives it a smoky edge, the cognac adds warmth, and then the vanilla softens the whole thing so it never gets too dry. It kinda gives me the same emotional vibe Delina Exclusif gives me in winter, not because it smells similar, just because it feels plush and luxurious. I get why people call it seductive, but for me it's also weirdly comforting. Lasts about 6-7 hours on me with decent projection. Honestly just a beautiful, grown, cozy fragrance that still feels unique.
This is one of those fragrances that feels effortless but still special. On my skin it opens with a soft pear note, then turns into this beautiful musky-amber haze with a dry cedar backdrop. Super chic. If you like loud, sugary stuff, this might seem too subtle, but that’s exactly why I’m into it. It smells expensive in a quiet way. Not trying too hard, not overly synthetic, just smooth and really well blended. I’d wear this year-round, easy. Performance is actually very good for Byredo too, around 7 hours with moderate projection for the first couple. Def a 5/5 for me because it nails that clean, elegant, slightly mysterious vibe.
This is gorgeous tbh. I get a smooth pear opening, but what really sells it for me is the cedarwood underneath. It keeps the whole thing from turning too fluffy or sweet. There’s a musky warmth here that feels really polished, almost like if a clean skin scent and a dry woody perfume had a very chic baby. I wouldn’t compare it to BR540 or Delina at all, it’s way quieter and more refined than that. The vibe is effortless, not attention-seeking, but I still got compliments wearing it. Lasted most of the workday on me, around 6-7 hours. Super wearable, super pretty, and honestly one of Byredo’s best.
This could have easily been just another clean floral, but the rhubarb makes it pop. That opening is bright, slightly tart, almost crunchy, then it settles into this smooth green floral cloud that feels very real and outdoorsy. I wouldn’t call it sexy in a loud way, more like quietly attractive. It gives me the same easy addiction I get from some minimalist scents, but this feels more alive than something like Mojave Ghost. Also, no headache, no weird synthetic harshness, which I really appreciate. Lasting power is decent on me, around 6 hours. I love this for daytime, but it still feels polished enough for nicer occasions too.
This is one of those perfumes that sounds simple on paper and then totally wins you over. The green notes are crisp and slightly watery, and the rhubarb adds this juicy tart edge that makes the whole thing feel alive. I don’t get anything overly sweet, thank god. It smells expensive in that quiet Byredo way. If Delina is dressed up and flirty, La Tulipe is the chic friend in a white button-down with perfect skin. Projection is moderate, maybe an arm’s length for a bit, then it sits closer. Tbh I’m fine with that because it’s so polished and easy. Def one of my favorite fresh florals.
I love this way more than I expected. APOM has that super smooth orange blossom opening, then the amber and white musk come in and make it feel clean but still really warm. It’s kinda the perfect balance of cozy and polished. Not loud in an annoying way, just elegant and easy to wear. It reminds me a little of the clean glow of some MFK stuff, but this feels softer and more human. On me it lasts around 7-8 hours with a nice little scent cloud for the first few. Honestly 5/5, no notes. This is one of those perfumes that makes you feel instantly put together.
I love this way more than I expected. La Tulipe smells like fresh-cut stems and cool morning air, with that tart rhubarb giving it a little snap so it never turns boring. The freesia keeps it soft and pretty, but not perfumey in a heavy way. It honestly feels effortless, like clean skin plus flowers. Kinda reminds me of the airy side of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, but greener and more natural. On me it lasts around 6 hours, closer to the skin after the first two. Not beast mode, but that works here. Super easy to wear and somehow still feels special every single time.
I really like this, even if it’s not totally mind-blowing. APOM feels like clean skin but dressed up, with that orange blossom glow sitting on a soft amber/vanilla base. It’s warm and a little sexy without trying too hard. Kinda reminds me of the polished, effortless vibe MFK does so well, just way less loud than BR540. My only issue is it can come off a bit too smooth, like I wish it had one sharper edge to make it more memorable. Still, it wears beautifully and gets that cozy white musk thing right. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me with moderate projection. Super easy to wear.
I keep reaching for this when I want to smell fresh but not soapy. The freesia and cyclamen give it that airy floral vibe, but the little woody/vetiver drydown stops it from feeling too delicate. That balance is exactly why I’m obsessed. It’s feminine without being sugary, clean without being boring. Honestly, a lot of “spring” scents disappear on me or smell like shampoo. This one doesn’t. I get a solid 5-6 hours and random little wafts that make me want to sniff my wrist again. Not loud, not trying too hard, just really beautiful. Super versatile too, from work to brunch to whatever.
I love this way more than I expected. Mojave Ghost Absolu takes the airy skin-scent vibe of the original and gives it a little more body without ruining the ghostly feel. I get juicy pear right away, then that musky ambrette thing comes in and makes it smell super clean but still kinda sensual. The cedar in the drydown is gorgeous too, smooth and lightly woody, not harsh at all. It reminds me a tiny bit of Glossier You in the soft musky mood, but this feels more polished and expensive. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me with a soft cloud. Def one of those perfumes that makes you keep sniffing your wrist.
I love this way more than I expected. Mojave Ghost Absolu takes that airy Byredo vibe and gives it more body, which is exactly what I wanted. The pear is soft and juicy up top, then the ambrette and chantilly musk make it feel creamy and skin-like without going boring. It’s elegant but still super easy to wear. Kinda reminds me of the original Mojave Ghost obviously, just richer and a little more sensual. On me it lasts around 7-8 hours with a soft but noticeable trail. Not beast mode, but people around you will catch it. Def one of those perfumes that makes you feel expensive and clean at the same time.
This is one of those fragrances that doesn’t smell like everything else on the market. Thank god. I get bergamot at first, but the real magic is that musky coconut haze with a slightly dry cacao feel in the background. It’s not gourmand, not tropical, not super floral either — just its own thing. That’s what makes it so good. If Delina is polished and bright, this feels more relaxed, softer, and cooler without being boring. I’ve had random compliments from people standing pretty close, so it’s not beast mode, but it definitely gets noticed. Really beautiful and oddly comforting. Highly recommend if you want something understated but memorable.
This is such a pretty scent. The pear note gives it a fresh shimmer in the opening, but it never turns shampoo-y or too sweet, which I really appreciate. Then the Chantilly musk and crisp amber make it feel creamy, cozy, and weirdly addictive. Tbh this is the kind of fragrance that doesn't scream for attention, but people lean in and ask what you're wearing. Super wearable too. I could use this to work, to dinner, basically anywhere. It has that clean-luxe Byredo DNA, just richer and more finished. Not beast mode, but I get a solid 6 hours and that’s enough for something this refined.
Slow Dance is stunning. It has this dark, almost sticky warmth from the opoponax and cognac, then the vanilla comes in and makes it feel smooth instead of sharp. I love that it doesn't go loud in an annoying way. It projects enough that people notice, but it still feels personal and elegant. There's something old-school romantic about it, but not dated at all. More like vintage mood with modern polish. This is the kind of scent that makes me want a scarf, dim lighting, and nowhere to be. Easily 5/5 for me and one I'd actually recommend without hesitation if you like rich, resinous perfumes.
Tbh this is one of the few Byredos that feels fully worth the price to me. It opens a little resinous from the opoponax, then turns into this gorgeous patchouli-vanilla mix that smells rich, smooth, and kind of addictive. Not a sugary vanilla at all, more deep and ambery. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear it. It has that slow-burn sexy vibe, like cashmere and low lights. Projection is noticeable for the first couple hours, then it sits closer and gets even better. I wouldn't call it an everyday scent, but when I want something warm and memorable, this is exactly it.
I really like this, maybe more than the original Mojave Ghost. It still has that airy, almost ghostly vibe, but the Absolu version feels creamier and a little deeper on skin. I get pear first, then that fluffy Chantilly musk and a dry cedarwood in the background. Super smooth. It kinda reminds me of if Mojave Ghost grew up and got a bit more polished. My only issue is it stays pretty close to the skin after the first hour, so don’t expect beast mode. But tbh that’s also part of the charm. Clean, elegant, easy to wear, and it feels expensive without trying too hard.
I really like this one. La Tulipe smells like fresh-cut stems and cool air, with that tart rhubarb in the opening making it feel a little sharp and juicy instead of generic floral. Then the freesia comes in and keeps it super clean and pretty. It kinda gives me the same polished, effortless vibe as other Byredo scents, but this feels brighter and more alive. My only issue is performance: on me it sits pretty close to the skin after a couple hours and I wish it had a bit more projection. Still, for daytime or office wear, it’s def lovely and easy to reach for.
I really like this, maybe more than the original Mojave Ghost. It opens with that airy pear thing, then the ambrette and musk make it feel super smooth and almost creamy on skin. Kinda gives me the same clean-luxury vibe as another Byredo, but this one feels warmer and a little more grounded because of the cedar. My only small issue is that it never gets super exciting — it stays pretty soft and understated the whole way. Still, that’s also why it works so well. Elegant, easy to wear, and def the kind of scent people lean in for instead of smelling across the room. Lasted around 6-7 hours on me with pretty close projection.
