I love this way more than I expected. The patchouli here is not earthy-dirty at all, it’s polished and blended so well with the orris. The cumin adds this warm skin-like thing that could be weird in other perfumes, but here it just makes it feel intimate and expensive. Tbh this smells niche in the best way, like something you wear when you’re tired of the usual fruity rose crowd. If Delina is all dressed in pink, this is the woman in black. Super refined, a little mysterious, and very memorable. Lasts most of the day on me and gets noticed, but in a classy way.
This is gorgeous. The first spray hit me with pepper and cumin and I was like okay, this could go very wrong, but then the orris smooths everything out and it turns super chic and a little mysterious. It’s spicy, powdery, and somehow still soft. I love perfumes that feel dressed up without being loud, and this does that perfectly. Kinda gives me the vibe of an older, more confident woman in the best possible way. Not girly, not sweet, just elegant and sexy. Performance is really solid too, I get around 7-8 hours and it leaves a beautiful trail without going beast mode.
I love this. It has that cool, shadowy MFK vibe but feels way more intimate than BR540. The pepper hits first on me, then this buttery orris shows up and makes everything feel smooth and expensive. There’s also a little cumin in the background that could’ve gone wrong, but here it just makes it feel warm and skin-like, not sweaty at all. Super elegant, super sexy, and honestly kinda addictive. It wears close-ish after the first hour but I still catch it for a good 7-8 hours. Not loud, just incredibly chic. If you like perfumes that feel mysterious instead of sugary, this is def worth it.
Kinda reminds me of the idea of lipstick and warm skin more than any specific perfume. The orris gives it that powdery, velvety thing, while the pepper keeps it from getting too soft or old-fashioned. Then the patchouli comes through and grounds it in the prettiest way. I’m obsessed. This isn’t a loud compliment-bomb like Delina or BR540, but it feels more personal and honestly more sophisticated. The whole thing smells expensive and very put-together. Performance is really nice too—about 7 hours for me, with a softer trail after the opening. If you want something feminine but not girly, this is such a good pick.
Def not a safe blind buy, but wow is it beautiful if you click with it. The opening has that peppery bite and a touch of cumin warmth, then it settles into this velvety, almost makeup-like orris thing on my skin. I’m obsessed with how unusual it feels. It doesn’t smell like BR540, Delina, or any of the modern sweet crowd, which honestly makes me love it more. This has personality. It feels sensual without trying too hard, and there’s something very French about it. Projection is moderate, not screaming across the room, but it stays around for a good 6-7 hours easily.
This is seriously gorgeous. The opening hits me with black pepper and cardamom, but it’s not harsh or scratchy at all. It settles into this smooth amber-oud thing that feels super luxe and kinda mysterious. I love how polished it smells — not barnyard, not medicinal, just rich and deep. It gives me that expensive Amouage vibe without trying too hard. Performance is excellent too, easy all day on me with strong projection for the first few hours. Def not a throwaway oud. If you like your oud elegant instead of dirty, this is a 5/5 easy.
Oud Zuhal is my kind of oud fragrance. Not dirty, not medicinal, not trying too hard. I get pink pepper up top, then this really beautiful amber-oud combo that feels smooth, deep, and kinda addictive. It has that dressed-in-dark-colors energy, but it’s not heavy in a suffocating way. Tbh I was expecting something more challenging from the name, but this is way easier to love than a lot of oud perfumes out there. It feels luxurious and very put together. Lasts all day on my skin and even longer on clothes. I’d wear this for nights out, formal stuff, or honestly whenever I want to smell expensive.
Tbh this is one of the nicest modern ouds I’ve tried. A lot of oud fragrances either go too animalic or too sweet, but this nails the balance. I get cardamom first, then that soft resinous amber wrapping around the oud. It smells super refined, like dressed-up evening wear, but I’d still wear it whenever I want to feel put together. No rough edges here. If Delina is pretty and BR540 is airy-sweet, this is their darker, more tailored cousin. Projection is strong at first, then it sits closer after a few hours but keeps going. Really, really well made.
I love this one so much. La Tulipe smells like fresh-cut stems and cool air, with that tart rhubarb in the opening keeping it from going too soft or soapy. Then the freesia comes in and it feels super clean, bright, and just effortlessly pretty. It doesn’t scream for attention, but that’s kinda the point. It smells polished without trying hard. On me it lasts around 6 hours and sits fairly close after the first hour, which actually makes it perfect for daytime. If you like florals but hate anything heavy or powdery, this is such an easy 5/5. Just makes me feel put together.
What I love here is how smooth everything feels. The black pepper gives it a nice kick in the opening, then the oud comes through in this deep, silky way with amber keeping it warm. Nothing smells synthetic or messy to me. It’s powerful, yeah, but not overwhelming beast mode where it wears you instead of the other way around. I’ve gotten a few compliments with this too, mostly from people saying I smell rich, which honestly fits. This is def more upscale than casual, but I could still see an oud lover wearing it often. Easy 5 stars from me.
I love this way more than I expected. Oud Zuhal feels warm and spicy in the best way, with pink pepper up top and a glowing amber base that keeps everything smooth. The oud is there, but it’s blended so well that it never turns funky. Kinda reminds me of some Middle Eastern ouds, but this is cleaner and more refined. Super addictive in cold weather and honestly really sexy without being loud in a tacky way. Lasts around 8-10 hours on me, easy. This is one of those scents where I keep sniffing my wrist because it just smells expensive and comforting at the same time.
Okay yeah, this is special. The first few minutes give me sparkling bergamot and lemon, then it melts into a smooth myrrh-ambergris base that smells sunlit, dry, and insanely elegant. Nothing harsh, nothing synthetic to my nose. Just very polished and expensive. It kinda gives me the same "wow" feeling Delina did the first time I tried it, even though they smell nothing alike—just that instant this-is-high-quality reaction. What I really love is how balanced it is: fresh enough to feel easy, warm enough to feel memorable. Beast mode? Not really. But it projects well for a while and sticks around 8 hours on me. Highly recommend.
This is honestly gorgeous. The opening hits me with black pepper and cardamom, but it never turns harsh or scratchy. After that, the oud comes through in this super smooth, polished way with a warm amber glow underneath. It smells rich without being too dressed up, if that makes sense. Kinda reminds me of the way Amouage can do luxury without going full old-school barnyard oud. I love this because it feels confident and expensive, but still wearable. Performance is excellent too, easily 8-10 hours on me with solid projection for the first few. Def one of those scents where I keep smelling my wrist all day.
Every time I wear this I end up sniffing my wrist all day. The opening has this subtle pepper kick, then it melts into a silky iris/orris cloud with just enough cumin to make it feel sensual. That note combo sounds risky on paper, but in reality it’s beautiful and really balanced. Nothing sharp, nothing messy. Just smooth, grown, confident perfume. I think this is one of Kurkdjian’s most underrated scents tbh. It has a warm, elegant vibe that works in cooler weather especially well, but I’d still wear it on evenings year-round. Not beast mode, but it lasts long enough and feels incredibly classy the whole way through.
This one is stunning. On me, the patchouli and cumin are the stars, but they’re softened by that powdery orris so it never turns harsh or too earthy. It’s warm, smooth, and just a little dirty in a very intentional, sexy way. I really love perfumes that feel confident and grown, and this is exactly that. Not playful, not sugary, not trying to be crowd-pleasing. Just beautiful. It reminds me why MFK can do understated luxury so well. I wear this when I want to feel put together and a bit dangerous lol. Great longevity too, easy 8 hours on skin.
This is really beautiful in a weirdly grown-up way. The opening hits me with pepper and cumin, and yeah, that can go a little sweaty for a minute, but once it settles the orris and patchouli make it feel soft, smoky, and super elegant. Kinda reminds me of those dark rose perfumes from the 2000s, but less loud and more polished. I love that it feels mysterious without going full gothic. Not the most crowd-pleasing scent ever, and I can see some people bouncing off the cumin, but on my skin it turns sexy and expensive. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me with moderate projection. Very good, just not an easy everyday reach.
This is one of those scents that doesn’t scream for attention, but wow it pulls you in. On me the patchouli and orris are the stars, with a little peppery sparkle at the top. It’s dark without being heavy and soft without being boring, which is kinda rare tbh. I usually don’t go for cumin because it can get weird fast, but here it’s blended so well that it just adds warmth and depth. Feels very French, very polished, very date-night in a black dress. Lasts around 6 hours on my skin with decent projection early on. Easily 5 stars for me.
This is really nice. I get a peppery kick right away, especially black pepper and cardamom, then it settles into a smooth amber-oud thing that feels rich without going full barnyard. It’s got that classy Amouage vibe, but it’s more wearable than some of their heavier stuff. I love how dry and warm it feels, kinda mysterious but still polished. My only small issue is that the opening can be a little sharp for the first 15 minutes, so I get why some people might bounce off it. After that though, it’s super good. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me with solid projection for the first couple hours.
I really like this one. La Tulipe smells like fresh-cut stems and airy petals more than a big obvious floral perfume, which is probably why I keep reaching for it. The rhubarb in the opening gives it this tart little snap, then the freesia comes in and keeps everything soft and clean. It kinda reminds me of walking into a florist shop, but in a polished Byredo way. My only issue is performance — on me it sits pretty close after a couple hours and I get around 5-6 hours total. Still, it feels elegant, easy, and super wearable when I want something fresh that doesn’t scream for attention.
I really like this, and I’m usually picky with oud-heavy stuff. Oud Zuhal opens super peppery to me, like black pepper and cardamom right away, then the amber comes in and smooths it out without making it sweet. It feels polished and expensive, very Amouage, but not as challenging as some of their darker releases. The only minor flaw is that it gets a little linear after the first hour, so the opening is more exciting than the drydown. Still, the scent itself is gorgeous and easy to wear if you want something warm and refined. Lasted around 7-8 hours on me with solid projection for the first couple hours.
