Tbh this surprised me. A lot of floral-fruity perfumes go generic on my skin, but this one feels really special. The apricot is juicy without turning shampoo-y, and the iris keeps it classy instead of girly. There’s also a little bergamot sparkle at the top that makes the first spray so addictive. It kinda reminds me of the polished, pretty side of some designer florals, but this has more texture and depth. Not like Delina at all to me, less tart and way more smooth. Performance is great too. I still catch it on my clothes the next day. Super easy recommendation.
This is gorgeous. I was a little scared the apricot would make it feel too juicy or shampoo-y, but Guerlain made it super smooth and elegant instead. On me, the bergamot gives it a bright little sparkle in the opening, then the iris comes in and makes everything feel soft, airy, and expensive. It honestly smells happy without being childish, which is harder to pull off than people think. I love this for daytime but it still has enough polish for going out. Performance is really solid too, around 7 hours on me with a nice scent trail for the first couple hours. Def one of those perfumes that just feels effortlessly pretty.
This is one of those scents that just makes me feel put together. Not sexy in an obvious way, not loud, not trying to be trendy. Just really beautiful. I get soft iris first on my skin, then that fruity apricot glow starts peeking through and it’s so addictive. The bergamot keeps it from feeling heavy, which I appreciate. It smells expensive in a very natural, effortless way. I’ve worn it to brunch, work, and dinner and it fit every situation. Projection is moderate, longevity is very good, around 7 hours on me. Honestly I can’t stop reaching for it.
This is a very good perfume, just not a total knockout for me. The rose and peach combo is nice, and the tonka in the drydown gives it this soft, cozy warmth that I really enjoy. It smells expensive and refined, def not cheap or screechy. But tbh I wanted more personality. For something called Cruel Gardénia, I expected more drama, more bite, maybe more of that lush white floral punch. Instead it wears very smooth and restrained. I still think it’s beautiful for daytime or dressed-up office wear, and I’d happily wear it in spring. Just feels a little too safe for the name.
Tbh this surprised me. I was expecting a basic white floral, but the apricot really makes it stand out. It gives the jasmine a juicy, almost velvety feel, and the bergamot keeps the opening fresh so it never gets heavy. It kinda reminds me of some designer fruity florals, but this smells more refined and less shouty. Not as instantly attention-grabbing as Delina or anything like that, but way more understated and chic. My one complaint is the price for the performance. It smells beautiful, but I do need a few extra sprays and it’s not all-day on me. Still def one of the prettier easy-wear florals I’ve tried.
This is one of those scents that makes me stop and go wow, that’s beautiful. The bergamot opening is fresh and light, then the apricot gives it this velvety fruitiness that feels almost glowing. What I really love is the iris in the drydown. It adds that soft, powdery touch without turning makeup-bag vintage. Tbh a lot of fruity florals bore me or smell too sugary, but this feels polished and kinda effortless. Very wearable, very chic, and still a little unique. I’d wear this to brunch, work, or a dressy dinner and it wouldn’t feel out of place anywhere. Not beast mode, but it lasts well and stays classy the whole time.
There’s something about this that instantly lifts my mood. The opening has that juicy apricot and a fresh bergamot sparkle, then it settles into this silky, almost makeup-like iris that feels so chic. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear it. It’s not sugary, not harsh, and not one of those perfumes that tries to copy BR540-style sweetness. Thank god. This feels more airy and refined, but still very memorable. I’ve gotten a few compliments with it, mostly from people saying I smell really elegant. Lasts a solid workday for me and the quality is obvious. One of my favorite Guerlains, easy.
If Delina is the girl making an entrance, this is the one who already owns the room and doesn’t need to prove it. Cruel Gardénia is soft, creamy, and super chic. I mostly get neroli at first, then a velvety vanilla-sandalwood base that makes everything feel really smooth. There’s something slightly elusive about it too, like the floral heart never fully shows all its cards. I actually love that, even if it means it’s not the most memorable Guerlain ever. Performance is decent, around 5-6 hours, but projection is pretty intimate. Not my pick when I want attention, but amazing when I want to smell elegant and put together.
This is nice, just not wow. I mostly get creamy sandalwood with a soft vanilla thing in the background, and the oud is really polished so don’t expect anything dark or animalic. There’s a little cumin peeking through that makes it warmer, but it never gets dirty on me. Honestly it smells expensive and put together, but also a bit safe for something called Oud Nude. I kept waiting for a twist and it never really came. Performance is decent, around 6 hours, with pretty close projection after the first hour. Easy to wear, sure, but for Guerlain and the price, I wanted something more memorable.
This is nice, don’t get me wrong, but for a Guerlain exclusive I wanted way more. I mostly get a soft peachy floral thing with some rose and a creamy vanilla base. It smells polished and expensive, just not that memorable. The whole “gardenia” idea feels more like a smooth floral blur than an actual wow moment. On me it stays pretty close to the skin after the first hour, and overall performance is decent, around 5-6 hours. I’d wear it if I wanted something elegant and easy, but I wouldn’t reach for it over other soft florals in my collection. Good, not amazing.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting a straight jasmine bomb from the name, but what I really get is this luminous apricot-bergamot opening with a super smooth iris running through it. It feels sunny and polished at the same time. Kinda gives me that happy, expensive Guerlain glow without trying too hard. I love how it stays elegant the whole way through and never turns screechy or overly sweet. On me it lasts around 7 hours with a soft but noticeable trail for the first couple hours. Honestly one of those scents that makes you stand a little taller when you wear it. Easy 5/5 for me.
I love this because it feels refined without being boring. The bergamot in the opening is bright and crisp, then the apricot comes in and makes everything feel creamy and cheerful. The iris is what really hooks me though. It gives that slightly powdery, velvety vibe that makes the whole thing smell super luxe. If you like fragrances that are pretty but still have character, this is def worth trying. It doesn’t scream across the room, but people around you will notice. I got solid wear from it, around 6-8 hours. To me this is the kind of perfume Guerlain does better than almost anyone.
I love this way more than I expected. Jasmin Bonheur has this sunny apricot glow that instantly hooked me, but it’s not syrupy at all. The iris keeps it refined and a little powdery, while the bergamot stops it from getting heavy. Kinda reminds me of how some people wear Delina for that polished feminine vibe, but this feels softer, less pushy, and more natural to me. Just really easy to enjoy. It’s uplifting, pretty, and actually smells like luxury instead of trying too hard. Lasts about 6-8 hours on my skin and gets me compliments without filling the whole room. Total yes from me.
This is one of those perfumes that just smells happy. The bergamot opening is sparkling, then I mostly get jasmine with a soft apricot sweetness and a little iris powder. It’s smooth, very feminine, and super put together. I love this for spring and early summer because it feels sunny without turning into a tropical fruit bomb. That said, it’s not super unique. If you own a lot of soft floral-fruity scents, you may not be blown away. But Guerlain does it really well, and sometimes that’s enough. Lasts about 6 hours on me with moderate projection for the first hour or two, then it gets more intimate.
This is really pretty. I get a soft peach at the top, then it turns into this creamy floral thing with rose sitting in the background. It doesn’t smell loud or trendy, just super polished and expensive in that classic Guerlain way. Kinda feels like a silk blouse in perfume form. My only issue is that the whole “gardenia” idea reads more abstract than photorealistic to me, so if you want a big lush white floral, this might feel a little too polished. Still, I love wearing it when I want something elegant and feminine without being too sweet. Lasts around 6 hours on me with soft projection.
Cruel Gardénia is pleasant in that clean, creamy way, but tbh it never fully grabbed me. I get neroli up top, then a silky sandalwood-tonka drydown that’s cozy and a little powdery. It kinda reminds me of those expensive department store florals that smell very “put together,” but also a bit safe. Not bad at all, just missing personality. I can see why some people love it for daytime or the office because it’s super easy to wear and won’t offend anybody. But for the price? I need more than just pretty. Lasts okay on me, not weak, not beast mode either.
I love this, honestly. The neroli gives it a fresh glow in the opening, but what keeps me coming back is the sandalwood and vanilla underneath. It’s creamy, smooth, and slightly powdery without going old-school. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of Chanel beige florals, but softer and more romantic. Not beast mode at all, so don’t expect people across the room to smell you. It stays fairly close after the first hour. That said, the quality is obvious and it feels really luxe on skin. Minor flaw: I wish it had a bit more projection because the scent itself is gorgeous.
Tbh this feels like Guerlain doing oud for people who don’t really like oud. The incense gives it a smooth, airy vibe and the almond adds a soft sweetness that makes it super approachable. I don’t hate it at all. It’s actually pretty pleasant, cozy, and easy to wear compared to heavier oud scents. But that’s also the problem for me... it’s almost too restrained. I wanted more depth, more personality, something a little sexier. Instead it stays very controlled and kinda blends into the background. Lasts okay, maybe 5-6 hours, but it sits close to the skin pretty fast. Decent scent, just not one I’d crave.
Kinda disappointed with Oud Nude tbh. I was hoping for something creamy and smooth, but the cumin note goes a little sweaty on my skin and never really settles in a nice way. The vanilla tries to soften it, but then the oud comes in kinda scratchy and makes the whole thing feel awkward instead of sexy. For a Guerlain, this smells weirdly unfinished to me, like the pieces don’t blend. It does last a while, around 7 hours, but that’s not a huge plus when I don’t really enjoy wearing it. Not terrible, just really not what I expected at this price.
I really wanted to love this because the name sounds so dreamy, but tbh it just fell flat on me. The peach in the opening is nice for like five minutes, then it turns into this vague powdery floral thing with a neroli/rose vibe that feels weirdly muted and a little synthetic. Not ugly, just... boring. For something from Guerlain, I expected more depth and a smoother drydown, especially with sandalwood and vanilla listed. Instead it stays soft and kinda fuzzy, then sits super close to the skin. I got maybe 4-5 hours tops. Feels elegant in theory, but in practice it’s overpriced and forgettable.
