Safran Secret recalls a mysterious adventure during which founder Thibaud Crivelli discovered a saffron field shrouded in a very thick fog. This deep, sensual composition is as captivating as it is enigmatic. The brightness of a comforting saffron contrasts with the opacity of warm, highly-diffusive woods. Created by perfumer Gaël Montero, the first impression is spicy, almost camphor-like, with hints of cardamom. The top notes reveal themselves to be green and peppy, followed by a herbaceous turn. In the heart and drydown, the anise-flavored opening evolves into a warmer, woody framework with a hint of myrrh, blossoming on a bed of dry woods and balms with hushed sensuality.
