I love this stuff. Herod has that perfect cherry-tobacco vibe on my skin, then the vanilla comes in and makes everything feel rich and addictive. It smells expensive without trying too hard, which is honestly why I keep reaching for it. Some sweet tobacco scents can get loud or too syrupy, but this one stays smooth and elegant the whole way through. Def a fall/winter staple for me. Not really office-safe if you overspray, but for nights out or cozy dinners it’s amazing. Lasts around 6 hours on me, which I wish was a bit better for the price, but the scent itself is so beautiful I don’t even care.
Herod is so good it’s annoying lol. The tobacco here is smooth and slightly sweet, and once the vanilla comes in it turns super cozy without going full dessert. I also get a bit of cinnamon that gives it that warm, dressed-up feel. Kinda reminds me of Tobacco Vanille’s softer, more wearable cousin, but I actually prefer this. It smells rich and classy without trying too hard. On me it lasts around 7-8 hours with solid projection for the first couple hours, then sits closer. Honestly one of the easiest 5-star scents in this style. If you like warm spicy stuff and want something sexy but still refined, this is def worth trying.
This one feels like a cashmere jacket in fragrance form. I mostly get cinnamon, vanilla, and that smooth pipe tobacco thing everyone talks about. It opens a little spicy, then turns really soft and rounded, almost creamy on me. What I appreciate is that it never gets messy or overly sweet. Just polished, warm, and super easy to enjoy. Kinda niche, but also very approachable, which is hard to pull off. My partner is obsessed with this on me, and honestly I get why. It has that cuddly but still put-together vibe. Not beast mode on my skin, but definitely enough for people nearby to notice.
Herod is probably my favorite from Parfums de Marly. It has this beautiful sweet tobacco backbone with vanilla in the drydown and just enough spice to keep it interesting. No rough edges, no weird synthetic blast, just a really well-blended scent from start to finish. If Layton is the louder crowd-pleaser, Herod is the smoother, more grown-up one. I wear this when I want to smell put together without smelling boring. It leans dressy to me but I’ve also thrown it on with a hoodie and it still works. Really versatile for a tobacco fragrance, which is rare. For me this is 100% worth owning.
This is def one of the better Parfums de Marly scents for me. The mix of tobacco, vanilla, and a little pepper is just really attractive without smelling too heavy. It has that dressed-up date night energy, but it’s not impossible to wear casually either. I love how rich it smells in the first hour. After that, it sits closer to the skin on me than I expected. Not weak exactly, just not the monster some people hype it up to be. Tbh that’s the only thing keeping it from a full 5 stars. Smell-wise though, super handsome and very easy to like.
Herod is so good it’s almost unfair. The tobacco here is smooth and slightly sweet, not dry old-cigarette territory at all. I get a cozy vanilla wrapping around it, plus a little cinnamon that gives it that warm spicy kick without turning into a candle. It kinda reminds me of Tobacco Vanille’s softer, more wearable cousin. What I love most is how classy it feels while still being super comforting. It gets me compliments pretty much every time I wear it. Performance on me is really solid too, around 7-8 hours with a nice scent bubble for the first few. Easy 5 stars.
This is nice, but that’s kinda the problem. I get a soft rose/jasmine vibe with a clean musky finish, and it smells polished without ever really grabbing me. It’s very easy to wear, very feminine, very “luxury department store” if that makes sense. Nothing offensive at all, but nothing that makes me want to keep smelling my wrist either. Performance is okay-ish on me, around 5-6 hours, and it sits pretty close after the first hour. If you want a safe floral for daytime, sure. But for the price, I was expecting something with more personality.
Herod is basically my go-to when I want something warm and comforting but still a little polished. The tobacco is sweet, the vanilla rounds everything out, and I get a nice cinnamon touch that makes it feel almost dessert-like without going fully gourmand. I love this kind of scent in fall. It’s the type that gets noticed when someone hugs you, not from across the room. So if you want huge projection, this might disappoint a bit. But if you want something smooth, refined, and genuinely addictive, it’s really good. Not groundbreaking maybe, but done very well.
Herod is nice, but I honestly don’t get the insane hype. I get a smooth tobacco with cinnamon and a creamy vanilla in the drydown, and yeah, it smells rich and cozy. Problem is, it never really blows me away. It’s one of those scents where I’m like “that’s good” and then move on. Kinda reminds me of a toned-down niche take on Spicebomb Extreme, just less fun to me. Performance is decent on my skin, around 6 hours, but not the beast mode people talk about. I’d wear it on a cool night out for sure, but for the price, I wanted something more memorable.
Fleurissimo is nice, just not wow. I get a very airy floral thing with jasmine and rose up top, then a soft violet-ish powderiness later. It smells classy and clean, like a polished white blouse in perfume form, but for me it never really develops into anything super interesting. Not offensive at all though, and I can see why people call it elegant. The downside is performance on my skin is pretty meh, maybe 5-6 hours with soft projection after the first hour. For Creed money, I wanted more personality. Decent for daytime or spring events, but tbh I wouldn't reach for it over other floral perfumes I own.
I love this stuff. Herod has that perfect mix of cherry-ish pipe tobacco, creamy vanilla, and just enough spice to keep it interesting. It feels luxurious in a very effortless way, like a cashmere sweater but in fragrance form. Some tobacco scents can get too dry or harsh on me, but this one stays smooth the whole time. It’s sweet, but never syrupy. I’ve worn it out at night and also just casually in fall, and it always gets noticed. Performance isn’t beast mode on my skin, more like 6 hours, but the scent itself is so beautiful I honestly don’t care. Super easy recommend.
Some floral perfumes are nice and then immediately leave my brain. This one doesn’t. There’s a lush white floral vibe here, plus a creamy vanilla base and a little fruity sweetness that makes it feel glamorous instead of plain. It’s feminine, slightly sensual, and really easy to wear. Not beast mode like BR540, thank god, but people around me definitely notice it. I got compliments the first day out with it. What I love most is that it feels luxurious without becoming heavy or powdery. If you want something pretty, classy, and a little sexy, this is such a good pick.
This is one of those fragrances I keep sniffing my wrist for. Herod opens spicy and a little smoky, then settles into this gorgeous tobacco-vanilla thing with a touch of wood in the background. It’s rich but not heavy, which is why I think it works better than a lot of other sweet tobacco scents. Tbh some PdM releases are hit or miss for me, but this one absolutely nails it. It feels intimate and expensive at the same time. I’d wear this on a date over something louder like Layton. Projection is noticeable without taking over the room, and it stays with me most of the evening. Just really, really well done.
Herod is one of those fragrances I smelled once and immediately understood the hype. The tobacco is the star, but it’s blended with vanilla and a touch of pepper so it never feels flat. There’s this creamy, slightly smoky sweetness that makes it feel really luxurious. Tbh this is what I wanted from a lot of other sweet tobacco scents that ended up being too harsh. Herod just gets the balance right. It’s sexy, warm, and still refined enough to wear dressed up. Projection is strong for the first couple hours, then it sits closer but still hangs around. If you like cozy masculine scents, this is basically a must-try.
Tbh I love the smell of Herod more than I love owning it. The scent itself is gorgeous: soft tobacco, creamy vanilla, and a little woody dryness underneath that keeps it from getting too sugary. It smells expensive and kinda regal without being old-school. Very easy to see why people hype it. My issue is the value. For this price, I wanted stronger longevity and better projection. On me it’s amazing for the first couple hours, then it becomes a personal bubble. Still very good, just not perfect. If the performance matched the scent quality, this would be an easy 5/5.
I really like Herod. It’s one of those tobacco scents that feels smooth and easy to wear instead of trying way too hard. I get a sweet tobacco thing first, then a lot of vanilla with a dusty cinnamon vibe in the background. Super cozy. Kinda reminds me of a classier, softer Tobacco Vanille, but less loud and easier to enjoy. My only issue is performance isn’t as beastly as the price suggests. I get around 6 hours, maybe a little more on clothes, and projection chills out pretty fast. Still, the scent itself is so good that I keep reaching for it in cooler weather.
I wanted to love Fleurissimo because the whole idea sounds so elegant, but tbh this one really let me down. I get a soft floral cloud with a bit of violet and rose, plus that clean iris feel, but it never really develops into anything memorable on my skin. It just stays polite... and then disappears. For a Creed, this feels super overpriced for what you get. Projection is weak and by around 4-5 hours I have to really dig into my wrist to find it. It’s not ugly or offensive, just kinda bland and too delicate for the price. Feels more like expensive hotel soap than a perfume I’d actually crave wearing.
This one feels very old-school Creed to me: refined, smooth, and a little distant. I mostly get tuberose with a fresh green floral vibe, plus some iris-like softness in the background. It’s definitely pretty, and I actually like that it doesn’t scream for attention. But that’s also the problem... it stays so polite that I end up forgetting I’m wearing it. If you want something in the same floral lane with more personality, I'd probably pick Delina over this every time. Fleurissimo isn't bad at all, just kinda there. Nice for formal stuff or daytime wear, but not something I'd call special.
Tbh Herod is perfectly fine, just not my thing enough to justify a bottle. The opening has that sweet cinnamon-tobacco thing going on, and later I get a soft vanilla haze that makes it super easy to wear. No rough edges, no weirdness, just a polished warm scent. But that’s also my issue with it. It feels a little too safe and kinda generic once the first 20 minutes are gone. I was expecting something darker or more unique. Projection stays pretty close after the opening too, so it’s not exactly a room-filler. Nice scent, classy even, but more “decent designer cousin” than holy grail niche for me.
I wanted to like this so bad, but it just felt kinda flat on me. I get a soft floral vibe with some rose and maybe a bit of musk, but it never really blooms into anything memorable. It’s not offensive, just weirdly bland for something that’s supposed to feel romantic and luxe. Tbh it reminds me of those pretty department store florals that smell nice for 10 minutes and then turn into a generic clean scent. Performance didn’t help either — sat close to the skin fast and was basically gone in like 4-5 hours. For the price, I expected way more personality and polish.
