MYSLF L’Absolu is def a compliment-friendly scent. It has that modern blue/fresh designer DNA, but the ginger and cardamom make it more interesting than the usual boring gym bag freshie. It smells clean, masculine, a little sweet-spicy, and very smooth. I wore it out to dinner and my friend immediately asked what it was, so there’s that. Not beast mode, but lasts around 6-7 hours on me. I just wish the drydown had a bit more character.
Mallow is super cute honestly. I get a bright raspberry at first, kinda fizzy from the pink pepper, then it melts into this soft vanilla sugar thing that feels fluffy but not childish. It’s sweet, but not syrupy sweet, which I really appreciate. There’s a little musky edge underneath that keeps it from being too cupcake-y. My only issue is the opening is way more exciting than the drydown, which gets a bit simple after a few hours. Still, I love wearing it when I want something pretty and easy. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me.
Tbh I wasn’t expecting to be obsessed, but Midnight Espresso is seriously gorgeous. The coffee note is rich and roasted, not that stale diner coffee smell some perfumes have. The rum gives it a boozy sparkle, and then the benzoin makes everything resinous and warm. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Black Phantom, but smoother and less dessert-heavy. This feels more wearable to me. I sprayed it before dinner and could still smell it the next morning on my scarf. 5/5 easily.

Performance is great on me too, around 8 hours with a nice scent bubble. If you like coffee fragrances but want something more grown up than sugary latte vibes, this is it.
I thought this would be too literal, but wow, it’s gorgeous. The opening is all warm cinnamon and baked apple, super cozy and mouthwatering, but then it softens into this airy musky pastry vibe. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, which is what makes it special. Kinda gives me the same comfort level as Angels’ Share, but less boozy and more bakery. I’ve gotten compliments every time I wore it, mostly people asking if someone brought pastries lol. 5/5 easy.
If you like apple scents, please try Jany. This is not shampoo apple or cheap body spray apple, it’s baked apple with cinnamon and a soft musky drydown that makes it wearable. I love gourmands but a lot of them feel too loud or too sugary on me. This one is sweet, yes, but balanced and kind of grown up. It lasts forever on sweaters too. I sprayed it once on my scarf and smelled it the next day. Def full bottle worthy for me.

I expected Mallow to be a straight-up marshmallow vanilla scent, but it’s actually more interesting than that. I do wish the violet came through more on my skin because that would’ve made it even prettier. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people can smell it if they’re near you. Q Parfum is exactly the kind of sweet scent I like. The cherry pops right away, then the vanilla comes in and makes everything warmer and softer. It’s not screechy, not plasticky, and not too syrupy. Just really smooth. I get why people compare cherry fragrances to Lost Cherry, but this feels more wearable to me and less boozy. It lasts about 6 hours on my skin, longer on clothes. So easy to reach for but still feels special.
