If you want a luxury woody scent that actually feels special, this is it. The opening has a little bergamot brightness, then it melts into oud and sandalwood in such a smooth way. Nothing screechy, nothing synthetic smelling to me. It’s powerful but not obnoxious, and I feel like it works for both men and women easily. I’d wear this on colder days, nights out, or anytime I want to smell expensive. 5/5 for me, no notes honestly.
This one surprised me. I expected a big aggressive oud bomb, but it’s way more refined. The vanilla is not cupcake sweet, more like a warm creamy layer over the woods. Guaiac wood gives it this smoky softness that I’m obsessed with. It feels cozy but still super dressed up, like you could wear it with a black sweater and look instantly put together. On my skin it lasts 8+ hours easily. Honestly one of those scents that makes you keep smelling your wrist.
This is what I wish more fruity perfumes smelled like. The lychee is fresh and pretty, the fig gives it this creamy green thing, and the musk makes it feel soft and expensive. Nothing about it smells cheap or body-spray-ish. It’s bright at first but dries down into something warm and smooth, almost skin-like. I get around 7-8 hours on clothes and it stays really beautiful the whole time. Honestly, if you like fruity florals but want them grown up, this is a yes.
I get why people call this a masterpiece. L'Heure Bleue smells like twilight, literally. Orange blossom, soft vanilla, a little airy sparkle… everything is blended so well that nothing feels harsh or random. It’s not a trendy compliment-bomb like BR540 or Delina, so don’t expect that vibe. This is more personal, more romantic, more “I have taste” lol. It wears beautifully for hours and feels especially amazing in cooler weather. If you like graceful, slightly nostalgic perfumes, this is a must try.
I love this. Oud for Grace is so smooth it almost doesn’t feel like a typical oud scent at all. No barnyard, no harsh medicinal vibe, just this deep woody warmth with sandalwood and a little vanilla rounding everything out. The bergamot in the opening keeps it from feeling too heavy, then it gets super creamy on skin. Feels expensive in the best way. Performance is great too, I get a full day with a nice scent bubble. Def one of Initio’s most wearable ouds.
This is one of those perfumes that feels like a whole mood. I get orange blossom first, then this airy ozonic thing that makes it feel almost like cool evening air, and then the vanilla comes in super smooth. It’s not cupcake vanilla at all, more like a soft veil. Honestly it smells expensive and emotional lol. I wouldn’t wear it to the gym or anything casual, but for dinner, theatre, or just feeling dramatic at home? Perfect. Lasts ages on clothes too.
This is such a beautiful balance of fruity and creamy. I mostly notice raspberry in the opening, then orris and musk make it soft, powdery, and super elegant. Not vintage powder though, more modern and plush. It smells feminine without being sugary or basic. Tbh I expected something louder, but I actually love how smooth it is. It projects nicely for a few hours then sits closer, but the longevity is still great. If you want something classy, romantic, and a little different from the usual designer fruity scents, try this.
Okay this one got me immediately. The fig here is so smooth and pretty, not green or dusty, more like creamy fruit skin with a soft woody drydown. I usually find Roja perfumes a bit too formal, but this feels modern and wearable while still being fancy. It has that effortless “signature scent” quality where people notice you smell amazing but can’t figure out what it is. Performance is excellent on me, like all day with a nice scent bubble for the first few hours. 5/5 easy.
This smells like money in the best way. Not flashy sweet like BR540, more like dark woods, soft vanilla, and clean oud blended so well that nothing sticks out weirdly. I sprayed it before dinner and kept getting little whiffs the whole night, which is my favorite kind of performance. Strong but not suffocating if you go easy. It feels unisex to me, but definitely bold. I’d wear this when I want to feel put together and slightly intimidating lol.
What I love about Oud for Grace is how wearable it is for an oud fragrance. A lot of ouds feel too serious or old school on me, but this has a clean, almost airy edge from the bergamot that keeps it modern. The sandalwood is gorgeous too, soft and creamy underneath the darker woods. It kinda reminds me of the confidence of Oud for Greatness, but smoother and a little more elegant. Lasts all day with solid projection. Honestly beautiful stuff.
Wore this once and immediately got asked what I had on, so yeah… it works lol. To me it opens with this juicy raspberry-cassis vibe, then the sandalwood comes in and makes it creamy and rich. It’s not loud like BR540 loud, but it has that same “expensive aura” thing where people notice you smell amazing. I also like that it doesn’t turn sour or too sweet on my skin. Performance is great, easily all day with a soft trail. 5/5 for me, no notes.
I love this one way more than I expected. The raspberry and cassis hit first, but it’s not candy-sweet at all… more like expensive dark fruit with this smooth musky glow underneath. It feels very Roja, like everything is blended within an inch of its life. I wore it to dinner and kept getting little whiffs for hours, super addictive. Projection is classy, not screaming, but people near you will notice. Def feels feminine, elegant, and kinda sexy without trying too hard.
Oud for Grace is gorgeous tbh. What I like most is how balanced it feels. The cedarwood and oud give it structure, but it never goes dark or dusty. There’s this clean warm glow to it, like a fancy hotel lobby but more intimate and wearable. I wore it to dinner and kept catching little waves of it all night. Projection is strong at first then settles nicely. Not cheap at all, but if you like smooth woody scents, this is absolutely bottle worthy.
This is the kind of oud I’d recommend to people who think they hate oud. It’s rich and woody, but the vanilla gives it this soft addictive sweetness that makes it really easy to wear. I get a lot of sandalwood too, almost creamy and polished. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Oud for Greatness but less loud and more graceful, which honestly fits the name. Smells like money without screaming. Compliment magnet on me and it lasts forever.
This one surprised me. I expected something super dusty and grandma-ish, but nope, it’s soft, haunting, and weirdly addictive. The ozonic notes make it feel airy, almost like a cold blue sky, while the vanilla warms everything up. It’s not trying to be sexy in a loud way, but it’s very intimate and beautiful. Kinda reminds me of the feeling I wanted from some niche powdery scents, but smoother. Longevity is excellent on me, and I kept sniffing my scarf the next day.
Tbh L'Heure Bleue is why Guerlain has the reputation it does. It’s elegant but not boring, sweet but not sugary, vintage but still wearable. The vanilla is gorgeous here, very plush, and the orange blossom gives it that slightly luminous floral edge. I even get a little modern smoothness from the ambroxan, but it doesn’t ruin the classic feel. Projection is moderate, which I actually like because this would be too much if it was beast mode. 5/5 easily, it smells like perfume as an art form.
I love this so much it’s actually ridiculous. L'Heure Bleue has that soft orange blossom glow with a creamy vanilla underneath, but it never turns into a basic sweet perfume. It feels powdery, dreamy, kinda melancholic in the best way. Like walking home at dusk after something really beautiful happened. Performance is great on me, around 7-8 hours, but it stays elegant and doesn’t scream. Def not a blind buy if you only like modern fruity stuff, but if you like old-school Guerlain vibes, this is exceptional.
Tbh this is one of the few pricey niche scents where I smelled it and immediately understood the hype. The oud is rich but super smooth, the guaiac wood adds this smoky dry warmth, and the vanilla rounds everything out just enough. Nothing cheap, screechy, or synthetic-smelling to my nose. It’s powerful, so two sprays is plenty on me, and it lasts forever. Definitely not an everyday casual hoodie scent, but for nights out or colder weather? Absolute 5/5.
Elysium Absolue Pour Femme is gorgeous. I get a blast of orange oil and pink pepper at first, super bright and fizzy, then the fruit comes in softer and rounder. It never turns syrupy on me, which I really appreciate. There’s this airy musk/ambergris thing happening that makes it feel clean but still sensual. Perfect for when you want to smell expensive without smelling like you tried too hard. I wore it during the day and it still felt right at night. Really versatile for such a luxe scent.
This is what I wish more fruity perfumes smelled like. The lychee gives it that bright, juicy sparkle, but the sandalwood underneath keeps it smooth and grown up. It kinda has that “pretty girl in an expensive hotel lobby” energy lol. Not loud in a screechy way, just radiant and very clean-luxury. I wouldn’t compare it directly to Delina, but if you like polished fruity florals, you’d probably get the appeal. Lasts ages on clothes too. Price is painful, yes, but the scent itself is stunning.
