Diorling Dioriginals is not a cute perfume lol. It’s green, dry, leathery, and kinda stern, but that’s exactly why I like it. The galbanum gives it this crisp bitter bite, and the leather feels worn-in rather than shiny new handbag. There’s also a slightly funky costus thing that makes it feel human and interesting. I wouldn’t wear this to get compliments, but I’d wear it when I want to feel put together and unbothered. My only gripe is it can feel a little harsh in the opening.
This one is definitely not a modern crowd-pleaser. I get leather and that slightly animalic costus vibe, which makes it interesting, but also kinda dusty and old-fashioned on my skin. The green opening is nice for a minute, but after that it becomes a little too dry and serious for me. I can see collectors loving it because it has character, but as an actual daily perfume? Not really. Lasting power is okay, nothing beast mode. Decent, just not exciting enough for me.

Performance is great too, easily lasts all day on clothes and 7ish hours on skin.
