I really like this one. Rose Palace is mostly a soft Damask rose on me, kinda velvety but not grandma-ish at all. There’s a little earthy vetiver underneath that keeps it from going too sweet or makeup-y, which I appreciate. It feels elegant but still casual enough for daytime. Performance is solid, around 6-7 hours, but the projection gets pretty polite after the first hour. Not a total wow fragrance, but super pretty and easy to reach for.
This one surprised me. I expected something super aquatic, but Menorca is more mineral, musky and clean, with a little lemon brightness in the beginning. It’s not sweet at all, which I love. Feels very unisex and easy to wear, like a fancy spa by the sea. The sandalwood in the drydown is soft and creamy, but I wish it had a bit more punch because it can disappear into skin after a while. Still a very good fragrance, especially if you like fresh scents that don’t smell generic.
This is such a pretty summer scent. I get a bright lemon and bergamot opening, then this salty mineral thing that makes it feel like warm skin after swimming. It’s fresh but not boring-clean, which I appreciate. The musk keeps it soft and smooth instead of sharp. My only issue is it doesn’t project like crazy, more of a personal bubble scent after the first hour. Still, it smells expensive and relaxed, like linen shirt on vacation vibes. Def one I’d wear a lot in hot weather.
This one surprised me. I thought it might be too sweet, but the sandalwood balances everything so nicely. It has that Fragrance Du Bois smoothness where nothing feels screechy or cheap. The tonka gives it this soft almond-ish warmth, and the patchouli adds depth without going hippie shop. It’s honestly beautiful on cold skin and even better after an hour. Not beast mode, but it lasts all day on clothes and sits around you in a really elegant way. Total luxury comfort scent.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting a heavy dirty patchouli thing, but it’s way smoother and more wearable than that. The vanilla and tonka make it creamy and sweet, but not cupcake sweet, more like a warm cashmere sweater kind of vibe. Patchouli is there but super polished, almost chocolatey on my skin. Performance is great too, I get like 8+ hours and a soft but noticeable trail. It feels expensive in the best way, not loud or try-hard. Def one of the best gourmand patchouli scents I’ve tried.
I’m picky with oud scents because a lot of them feel too animalic or just overly sweet, but this one is beautiful. The bitter orange makes the whole thing feel sharper and brighter, almost like it’s cutting through the darkness. Then the drydown gets this smooth earthy wood vibe from the cypriol that smells really addictive. It’s mature but not old-man at all. Lasts forever on clothes and around 7-8 hours on skin. Easy 5 stars for me, super unique in the JPG lineup.
Honestly this smells like JPG trying to play in the niche oud lane and actually winning. The bitter orange opening is gorgeous, kinda bitter and zesty, then it dries down into this smooth cypriol-heavy woody thing. Not sweet, not loud clubby stuff, just confident and grown. If you’re expecting Le Male DNA, nope, this is way more refined. Performance is great too, I still smell it on my jacket the next day. Super impressed with this one.

I’m guessing the cypriol is what gives it that dry, smoky-oud feel without going barnyard at all. It smells expensive and very French, tbh. On my skin it lasts around 8 hours and projects nicely for the first few. Def one of the best JPG releases if you like elegant darker scents.
I’m picky with patchouli but it’s done so well here. No dirty basement vibes, no chocolatey heaviness, just a smooth earthy base that gives the whole scent depth. The pink pepper keeps it lively and the musk makes it feel soft and close in the best way. It smells luxe without being too serious. Performance is great on me, solid 8 hours with a nice scent bubble for the first few. I’d honestly recommend this to anyone who wants something unique but still wearable.
This is nice in a quiet, cozy way, but I’m not blown away. I mostly get labdanum and benzoin with a soft vanilla/tonka sweetness underneath. It has that resinous amber vibe that feels classy, but on my skin it stays kinda muted and doesn’t really develop much. Def smells expensive, just not super memorable. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, but projection is pretty close after the first hour. I’d wear it on a chilly night at home or a lowkey dinner, but for MFK prices I’d want more personality.
I really like this, but I don’t think it’s a blind buy. The opening is super zesty with bergamot, almost fizzy, then it dries down into soft musk and sandalwood with that salty air vibe. It reminds me of being near rocky beaches, not tropical resort perfume. Very Memo in the sense that it feels artsy and well made. Minor flaw for me is the price, because the performance is good but not amazing. Still, every time I wear it I keep sniffing my wrist, so yeah… it works.

This is probably my favorite Fragrance Du Bois release I’ve smelled lately. The mandarin opening is brief but really pretty, then the fragrance melts into tonka, vanilla, and patchouli in such a smooth way. Nothing harsh, nothing muddy, just warm and expensive. It has that niche quality where it feels familiar enough to wear often, but still unique enough that people ask what it is. I’d wear this mostly in fall/winter, but honestly on a cool evening it’s perfect anytime. Full bottle worthy for sure.

This is stunning tbh. The cashmeran is what makes it for me — plush, warm, almost velvety, but not heavy. There’s a little apricot brightness that keeps it from feeling too powdery or mature. I wore it out and got two compliments, which almost never happens with softer scents on me. It has that niche expensive smell but isn’t weird just for the sake of being weird. If you like cozy musky florals with a bit of sparkle, def try this.
