I was expecting something heavier, but Coeur Fetish Amber is actually really balanced. The myrrh and labdanum give it this deep golden resin vibe, but the musk keeps it smooth and not churchy. It feels cozy, but not lazy cozy… more like cashmere sweater and good lighting cozy. I keep smelling my wrist when I wear it. It doesn’t scream, which I actually like, but it lasts forever on clothes. If you’re into warm ambers that don’t go syrupy or too vanilla, this is honestly beautiful.
This is gorgeous. The opening has that fizzy aldehyde thing for like 10 minutes, then the cardamom and amber take over and it becomes super smooth. Kinda reminds me of a more polished, less obvious cousin of some niche amber perfumes, but easier to wear. It smells warm, clean, resinous, and very “expensive coat in a fancy hotel lobby” lol. Projection isn’t beast mode but people will notice you when they’re close. I’d wear this on a date for sure. Big 5/5 for me.

Honestly one of the best YSL private line scents I’ve tried.

I mostly get cherry, styrax, and a soft tonka sweetness, and the whole thing has this dark amber-ish glow. It reminds me a little of the vibe of Rouge Smoking, but richer and more niche-smelling. Projection was strong for the first few hours, then it sat closer but still lasted forever on clothes. Honestly gorgeous, and I’d recommend sampling if you like bold fruity-resin scents.
