This is super rich and kinda theatrical in the best way. I get a boozy apple vibe from the calvados right away, then the frankincense rolls in and makes it feel smoky and expensive. The vanilla smooths it out later so it’s not just dark leather all night. Definitely not an easy dumb reach, but when I’m in the mood it feels amazing. My only issue is it can get a little heavy indoors. Performance is great though, easily 8+ hours on me.

This one surprised me because I expected something heavier. It’s warm and spicy from the cardamom, but the vanilla and labdanum smooth it out nicely without making it dessert-like. Feels masculine but not old-school. Kinda reminds me of a more refined designer spicy-woody scent, just with better ingredients. Minor complaint: the drydown gets a bit safe after the gorgeous opening. Still, I love wearing it in cooler weather and it feels super put together.
I like this a lot, but I don’t think it’s a masterpiece. The bergamot opening is bright and peppery, then patchouli comes in and gives it that darker classy edge. It smells expensive for sure, no cheap screechy stuff here. Still, for Amouage pricing I wanted a little more drama. Performance is solid but not beast mode, maybe 6 hours before it sits closer. Very easy to wear though, and I can see this getting compliments.
Decision 42 Man gives me clean expensive guy energy. The neroli keeps it fresh, but the cinnamon and cedarwood make it warmer and more mature. Not a sweet vanilla bomb at all, more like a soft creamy base underneath the spice. I’d wear this to dinner or an office thing where I still wanna smell interesting. It’s very good, just maybe a little too “controlled” for me. I kinda wish it had more punch.

This is such a confident scent. I get mostly petitgrain and basil, like fresh green bitterness mixed with that clean JPG vibe. It’s smooth though, not harsh or old-school barbershop. Kinda smells like a crisp white shirt, warm skin, and someone who actually has their life together lol. I know some people find it too floral-clean, but to me it’s classy as hell. Lasts forever on clothes too. Easily one of the most underrated JPGs and honestly better than a lot of modern releases.
