This is nice in that polished Dior way, but I expected a little more. The jasmine is soft and clean, not super indolic or loud, and I get a juicy peach vibe in the opening that makes it feel pretty and easy to wear. The strawberry is there for a minute but it’s not a fun candy strawberry, more like a light fruity sweetness. My issue is it just sits there looking cute and expensive without really doing much. Lasts around 5-6 hours on me but projection is pretty moderate. Decent, elegant, but not something I’d rush to buy.
Elysium Absolue Pour Femme is stunning. The pink pepper gives it a tiny sparkle, then the cassis and raspberry make it juicy without going syrupy. What I really love is the drydown though… smooth musk with a bit of benzoin warmth, so it gets cozy but still fresh. It feels sexy in a clean, polished way, not heavy or clubby. Lasted about 8 hours on me and the scent bubble was perfect. This is one of those perfumes that makes you feel put together instantly.
This is gorgeous in a very effortless way. I get fig and orange oil at the start, kinda sparkling but also smooth, then it settles into this musky ambergris warmth that smells like clean skin but richer. It’s not a “look at me” perfume, more like someone elegant walked by and you instantly wanna know what they’re wearing. I could see this being a signature scent if your budget allows it. Expensive? Obviously. But it actually smells expensive, which is not always the case.
This one surprised me. I expected a big aggressive oud bomb, but it’s way more refined. The vanilla is not cupcake sweet, more like a warm creamy layer over the woods. Guaiac wood gives it this smoky softness that I’m obsessed with. It feels cozy but still super dressed up, like you could wear it with a black sweater and look instantly put together. On my skin it lasts 8+ hours easily. Honestly one of those scents that makes you keep smelling your wrist.
This is what I wish more fruity perfumes smelled like. The lychee is fresh and pretty, the fig gives it this creamy green thing, and the musk makes it feel soft and expensive. Nothing about it smells cheap or body-spray-ish. It’s bright at first but dries down into something warm and smooth, almost skin-like. I get around 7-8 hours on clothes and it stays really beautiful the whole time. Honestly, if you like fruity florals but want them grown up, this is a yes.
I get why people call this a masterpiece. L'Heure Bleue smells like twilight, literally. Orange blossom, soft vanilla, a little airy sparkle… everything is blended so well that nothing feels harsh or random. It’s not a trendy compliment-bomb like BR540 or Delina, so don’t expect that vibe. This is more personal, more romantic, more “I have taste” lol. It wears beautifully for hours and feels especially amazing in cooler weather. If you like graceful, slightly nostalgic perfumes, this is a must try.
I love this. Oud for Grace is so smooth it almost doesn’t feel like a typical oud scent at all. No barnyard, no harsh medicinal vibe, just this deep woody warmth with sandalwood and a little vanilla rounding everything out. The bergamot in the opening keeps it from feeling too heavy, then it gets super creamy on skin. Feels expensive in the best way. Performance is great too, I get a full day with a nice scent bubble. Def one of Initio’s most wearable ouds.
This is one of those perfumes that feels like a whole mood. I get orange blossom first, then this airy ozonic thing that makes it feel almost like cool evening air, and then the vanilla comes in super smooth. It’s not cupcake vanilla at all, more like a soft veil. Honestly it smells expensive and emotional lol. I wouldn’t wear it to the gym or anything casual, but for dinner, theatre, or just feeling dramatic at home? Perfect. Lasts ages on clothes too.

Not vintage powder though, more modern and plush. It smells feminine without being sugary or basic. Tbh I expected something louder, but I actually love how smooth it is. It projects nicely for a few hours then sits closer, but the longevity is still great. If you want something classy, romantic, and a little different from the usual designer fruity scents, try this.

Tobacco Carnaval is decent, but I expected a bit more drama from Maison Crivelli. I get a sweet gourmand tobacco with some smoke in the background, plus a little spicy warmth. It’s cozy and kinda smooth, but it never really becomes addictive or super memorable on me. The smoky part is nice at first, then it turns a bit flat after a couple hours. Performance is okay, maybe 6 hours with moderate projection. Not bad at all, just not something I’d rush to buy a full bottle of. If you love sweet tobacco scents, it’s worth trying, but don’t expect a masterpiece.
Darling Point is nice in that polished Memo way, but I wasn’t blown away. The pear and apple opening is cute, kinda juicy and clean, then the cinnamon/praline thing makes it warmer and a little cozy. I like it more after 20 minutes than right away. The drydown gets soft and woody, but also a bit generic to my nose. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, with pretty close projection. For the price, I wanted more personality tbh. Totally wearable, office-safe, and pleasant, just not something I’d rush to buy a full bottle of.
If you want a luxury woody scent that actually feels special, this is it. The opening has a little bergamot brightness, then it melts into oud and sandalwood in such a smooth way. Tbh L'Heure Bleue is why Guerlain has the reputation it does. It’s elegant but not boring, sweet but not sugary, vintage but still wearable. The vanilla is gorgeous here, very plush, and the orange blossom gives it that slightly luminous floral edge. I even get a little modern smoothness from the ambroxan, but it doesn’t ruin the classic feel. Projection is moderate, which I actually like because this would be too much if it was beast mode. 5/5 easily, it smells like perfume as an art form.
