1 Million Black is basically made for evenings. I love how the tropical fruits pop in the opening, like juicy and bright, then the ebony wood turns everything darker and sexier. It has that confident Rabanne feel but feels more refined than the original to me. Not a quiet scent at all, but it doesn’t choke people out either. Lasted all night on my hoodie, easily next day. If you like sweet woody scents with a darker edge, this is an easy recommend.
This is not a pretty floral or sweet crowd-pleaser, and that’s exactly why I love it. The mushroom note is earthy and weird, but the oakmoss keeps it classy instead of swampy. It kinda reminds me of old-school chypres if they were dragged through a haunted forest. Very textured, very moody, very Nasomatto. I got zero basic perfume vibes from this. If you want compliments from everyone, maybe no, but if you want to smell unforgettable, yes.
