So, Animalique is interesting but not my fave. The bergamot and lemon open up nicely, but I feel like the suede and tobacco leaf get a bit too overwhelming after a while. It’s unique, I’ll give it that, but I guess I prefer sweeter scents. Good longevity though! Just not something I’d reach for regularly.

I’m seriously in love with Animalique! The blend of bergamot and suede is just perfect. It starts off fresh and then gradually warms up with that amber base. Animalique is fantastic, no doubt about it! The tobacco leaf adds this richness that I adore. I feel like it’s super elegant and fits perfectly for nights out. But I mean, it’s Byredo, so it is a bit on the pricey side. Still, if you’re splurging, this is definitely worth it. One of my faves for sure!

Sometimes I catch whiffs of the tobacco leaf, which is interesting and gives it character. I’d say it lasts around 6 hours on me, which is pretty good, but I wish the projection was a bit stronger.
