Tbh this is one of the few floral perfumes I never get tired of. A lot of “spring” scents go watery or generic on me, but this stays crisp and alive. I get green notes first, then a soft freesia thing, with a subtle vetiver base that keeps it a little dry and chic. Kinda reminds me of those expensive minimal Byredo vibes at their best. Not as loud or sugary as Delina at all, which I personally prefer. It’s fresh, natural, and insanely wearable. Projection is moderate for me, not beast mode, but enough that people notice when they’re close. Def highly recommended.
I love this so much. Velvet Haze has this soft coconut thing that could've gone sunscreen-y, but it doesn't. It feels fuzzy and cool at the same time, like coconut wrapped in musk and cashmeran. The opening is a little airy and weird in a Byredo way, then it settles into something super comforting but still kinda sexy. Tbh it gives me that effortless 'expensive person in a giant sweater' vibe. I also like that it doesn't scream across the room, but people notice when they get close. On me it lasts around 6-7 hours, better on clothes. Def one of those scents that feels unique without trying too hard.
Velvet Haze is really special tbh. It's not a safe vanilla-musky crowd pleaser, and that's exactly why I rate it so high. I get hibiscus only as a vague floral tint, but the patchouli leaf and musk are what make this for me. It has that hazy, slightly earthy, almost retro vibe, but polished. Kinda like if a vintage scent got cleaned up and made modern. I wouldn't compare it to Delina or BR540 at all, it's way more understated and artsy. Projection stays pretty close, which I actually love here. It feels personal, intimate, and super chic.
Slow Dance is gorgeous. The opening has that soft cognac warmth, then the vanilla starts to melt in and the whole thing turns super addictive on my skin. What I really love is how the incense keeps it from getting too dessert-like. It stays grown, cozy, and a little mysterious. I’ve worn this on cold nights, dates, even just at home, and it always makes me happy. It’s not beast mode, but it projects enough that people notice when they’re near you. Very intimate, very chic. If you want something sweet-ish but darker and more mature, I highly recommend this.

This stuff is stunning, plain and simple. The oud here is smooth and almost creamy to me, and the amber gives it that golden warmth that makes the whole thing feel super expensive. I also get little flashes of pink pepper in the opening that keep it from feeling flat. What I really love is how balanced it is: bold, but not loud for no reason. Sexy, polished, and very Amouage. Not really an everyday dumb reach for me, but when I want something special, this absolutely delivers. Beast mode? Not quite, but it lasts a solid 8+ hours and leaves a beautiful trail. Highly recommended.
Tbh this is my favorite Byredo and it’s not even close. A lot of their scents are nice but airy and gone too fast. This one actually has presence. I get incense first, then this rich opoponax glow with vanilla underneath that keeps it from feeling too dry. It’s sexy in a quiet way, not loud or trying too hard. If you like the moodier side of perfume, this is such a win. Not really similar to BR540 or Delina at all, thank god, because it has its own thing going on. Warm, a little nostalgic, and very addictive. Easy 5 stars for me.

La Tulipe is one of those scents that seems simple until you wear it and realize how ridiculously well done it is. The freesia and cyclamen give it that airy floral feel, but the green side keeps it from getting too sweet or basic. It smells expensive in a very quiet way. Not flashy, not trying to be sexy, just really beautiful and refined. I actually get more compliments with this than with louder perfumes because people lean in and ask what smells so fresh. For me it’s super versatile: work, brunch, even warm evenings. If you want an easy signature scent, this is def worth it.
