Usually when something opens fresh, I expect it to stay kinda airy and safe. Not here. The bergamot sparkles at first, then this creamy woody drydown comes in with a musky warmth that is just insanely good. I love this because it works in daytime but still feels date-night worthy, which is rare. It doesn't smell like BR540 or Delina at all to me, thank god, and that's part of the charm. It's got its own thing going on: clean, sensual, and a little addictive. Performance is excellent too, around 7-9 hours on me with solid projection the first few hours.
This is so good tbh. What I get most is a soft floral heart with powdery iris and a clean musky finish, and it all feels really smooth and seamless. It’s not trying to be a beast mode attention grabber like BR540 or some super sugary trend perfume. This is more classy, refined, and just plain beautiful. I’ve worn it to work and out to dinner, and it somehow fits both. Projection is moderate for the first couple hours, then it sits a bit closer to the skin but still lasts most of the day. If you like perfumes that feel expensive and put-together, I highly recommend this.
Athénaïs feels like quiet luxury to me. Not flashy, not trying to be the next BR540 clone, just really well done. I get delicate white florals, soft musk, and a creamy warmth in the base that makes it feel super comforting. The balance is what got me — nothing sticks out too much, everything just melts together. It wears close-ish after a while, but I actually like that because it makes it feel more personal. Lasted a good 6 hours on me with better longevity on clothes. This is def one of those scents you reach for when you want to smell beautiful and effortless.
This is so good. I get a really smooth cedar/sandalwood thing with a bright little pop of bergamot up top, and it just feels expensive the whole way through. Not loud in a messy way, just polished and super addictive. Kinda gives me that clean luxury vibe some Ex Nihilos do, but richer and more sensual here. I love how the extrait has more depth than a lot of woody-fresh scents that disappear after an hour. This one easily gives me 8+ hours and the trail is noticeable without being too much. Honestly one of those fragrances that makes you stand up straighter when you wear it.
The Hedonist Extrait is one of those fragrances that just smells put together. I get a juicy bergamot opening, then a creamy woody base with musk that makes everything feel really seamless. Nothing harsh, nothing screechy. Just smooth from start to finish. I love this kind of scent when I want to smell expensive without choking everyone out. That said, it’s def not the most original thing I’ve ever smelled. If you’ve tried a lot of modern woody-musky niche stuff, some of this will feel familiar. But the quality is there, and it wears beautifully. Great for dinners, meetings, pretty much anything. Very good, just not mind-blowing.
This is really good if you like that understated rich-person smell. Not sugary, not overly smoky, not trying to be weird for attention. On me it opens fresh with a little citrus pop, then turns into smooth cedar and clean musk. The whole thing feels effortless. I can totally see this being a signature scent. My only real issue is that I wanted a tiny bit more personality. It’s beautiful, but it doesn’t have that instantly addictive twist like Delina or BR540 where you’re obsessed from first sniff. This is more subtle and refined. Still, I keep reaching for it because it’s easy, classy, and gets compliments when people are close.
I love this way more than I expected. Athénaïs smells super polished but still easy to wear, like creamy rose with soft vanilla and a little sandalwood in the background. Nothing feels harsh or overly loud. It has that expensive Parfums de Marly vibe, but this one comes off more graceful than flashy. Kinda gives me the mood of Delina’s elegant side without the tart lychee punch. On me it lasts a solid 7-8 hours and stays noticeable without choking anyone out. Honestly one of those perfumes that makes you stand up straighter. Really gorgeous, really feminine, and def full bottle worthy for me.
Athénaïs is one of those scents I keep sniffing my wrist for. I get a warm ambery sweetness, a bit of rose, and maybe some creamy woods underneath. It feels cozy and sexy at the same time, which is not always easy to pull off. There’s nothing screechy or overly synthetic here, just a really well-blended cloud that makes me feel dressed up even in a hoodie. Performance is great on me too, around 6-7 hours with a nice scent trail for the first half. I wouldn’t call it super youthful or playful, more like confident and effortlessly chic. Def recommend if you want something feminine that feels luxe.
This feels like the clean-girl perfume if the clean girl had actual money. I get soft white flowers, some pear-like fruitiness, and a musky base that stays really smooth the whole time. No weird screechy opening, which I appreciate. It’s not a compliment bomb like BR540 or something super sugary, but people around me did say I smelled really nice and elegant. What I love most is how effortless it is. Spray and go. The minor flaw is projection—after the first hour it sits closer to the skin than I want. Still very pretty and def wearable year-round.
Tbh this is super easy to wear. I get bright citrus at the top, then a clean floral heart and a soft woody drydown. Nothing harsh, nothing messy. It kinda reminds me of the more understated side of designer perfumes, except smoother and better blended. I love how put-together it smells, like crisp clothes and good posture lol. That said, it does play it a little safe for the price. I kept waiting for some twist or wow moment and never really got one. Still, I’d happily wear this to work or brunch. Performance is decent, around 5-6 hours, not beast mode.
This is nice, don’t get me wrong. I get a bright bergamot opening, then it turns into this creamy woody/musky skin scent pretty fast. It smells polished and expensive in that Ex Nihilo way, but for an extrait called The Hedonist, I wanted a little more drama or personality. Kinda reminds me of those clean luxury scents that everyone likes but nobody obsesses over. Performance is decent on me, around 6-7 hours, but projection stays pretty close after the first hour. I’d wear it to work or a dinner out, no problem. Just not something I’d reach for when I want to feel wowed.
I love this, like really love it. It smells smooth and put together, with a soft floral heart, a touch of vanilla sweetness, and a clean woody drydown that keeps it from going too girly. There’s nothing loud or messy here. Just a beautiful, expensive-smelling blend that sits right between cozy and chic. Tbh this is the kind of scent that gets compliments from people who normally never notice perfume. It’s not beast mode, but it definitely projects enough for people around you to catch it. If you like feminine perfumes that feel luxurious without trying too hard, this is such an easy 5 stars.
This is gorgeous. Athénaïs has that polished Parfums de Marly feel, but it comes off softer and more intimate on me. I get a creamy floral vibe with a hint of powder and something lightly musky underneath, and the whole thing just feels super elegant without being stiff. It kinda reminds me of the refined side of Delina, minus the tart bite. I love how easy it is to wear too — dressed up, daytime, dinner, whatever. Performance is really solid on my skin, around 7-8 hours with a nice scent trail for the first few hours. Honestly one of those perfumes that just makes you feel expensive.
This might be one of the prettiest things I’ve smelled from Parfums de Marly. It’s soft, creamy, lightly floral, and has this musky warmth that makes it feel really intimate and sexy without being obvious about it. Kinda gives me the same polished mood as some designer florals, but richer and way more refined. I love that it never turns harsh or overly sweet. Just smooth all the way through. Also, the quality feels obvious from the first spray. On me it lasts around 8 hours and leaves a really lovely trail without choking anyone out. Super wearable, super classy, and yes, worth the hype.
This surprised me tbh. I expected something heavier from an extrait, but on my skin it’s more airy and sleek at first, with lime and ginger giving it a crisp little kick. Then the woods come in and it gets warmer without turning dense. I love that balance. It feels dressed up, but not try-hard. It kinda reminds me of the clean luxury vibe of Bleu de Chanel crossed with something more niche and textured. Minor flaw: for an extrait, I wanted a bit more punch in the projection. It lasts well, around 6-7 hours, but sits closer after a while. Still super nice and very wearable.
Some feminine perfumes go too sugary or too sharp on me, but this one gets it exactly right. Athénaïs feels airy and creamy at the same time, with a soft floral tone, a little powder, and maybe a gentle sandalwood-like smoothness underneath. It has that expensive, well-blended thing PDM does really well. I wouldn’t call it super youthful or trendy, and that’s honestly part of why I’m into it. It feels timeless. I’ve worn it to work and on dates and it just works. Great projection for the first couple hours, then it settles into this beautiful elegant bubble. Easy recommendation from me.
Tbh this sits in that awkward zone where I can tell it’s quality, but it doesn’t really move me. I get a fresh citrus touch up top, then a lot of cedar and soft musk. Super easy to wear, super safe, and yeah it smells good. But that’s also the issue... it feels a bit too safe for the price and the extrait label. I was hoping for something richer or more addictive, maybe a little like another woody niche scent with more bite. Instead it stays smooth, airy, and slightly generic. Lasts fairly well, but it’s more of a personal bubble than a statement fragrance. Decent, nothing special.
I’m into this. Athénaïs has that warm floral thing that feels feminine without going full powder-bomb. On me, the jasmine stands out most, then I get a creamy sandalwood-ish softness and a little sweet musk in the background. It gives rich, calm, confident energy. Not as dramatic as Delina, not as sugary as a lot of modern floral scents, which is honestly why I like it. Minor complaint: the opening is a touch generic for the first 10 minutes, then it settles into something much nicer. Once it does, it’s super easy to love. Lasted about 7 hours on my skin, better on clothes.
I really like this. The opening has this bright bergamot sparkle, then it settles into creamy cedar and a soft musky skin scent that feels super polished. It’s not loud in a chaotic way, just expensive-smelling and smooth. Kinda gives me that modern niche clean-wood vibe, but less cold than some of the usual suspects. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars for me is the price and the fact that it stays pretty linear after the first hour. Still, what it does, it does really well. I got solid 7-8 hours and decent projection for the first couple of hours. Easy to wear, easy to love.
I wanted to love this because Memo usually does interesting stuff, but Cap Camarat just feels weirdly unfinished on me. I get a salty marine vibe at first with some soft florals in the background, and then it turns kinda sharp and synthetic fast. Not fresh in a clean beachy way either, more like expensive hotel soap left in the sun. For the price, this really should wow me more. Performance is also meh — sits close to the skin after like an hour and doesn’t evolve much. Tbh it smells nice enough, just not memorable, and definitely not what I reach for when I want an airy coastal scent.
