I love this. Search feels like a luxury citrus done the Amouage way, so it’s not just fresh and gone in 20 minutes. The opening is sharp lemon and a little bitter lime, then I get this dry smoky woods/incense thing underneath that keeps it from being boring. It actually kinda reminds me of what I wish some niche freshies would do instead of smelling like expensive shower gel. This has character. It’s elegant, a little intense, but still easy enough to wear if you don’t overspray. Lasted around 7-9 hours on me with solid projection for the first few. Not cheap obviously, but tbh it smells special enough that I get the hype.
This is gorgeous. Opus XVI Timber feels like polished cedar and sandalwood wrapped in a soft amber glow, and somehow it smells expensive without trying too hard. I love how smooth it is — no harsh edges, no weird screechy phase, just this elegant woody warmth that keeps getting better as it dries down. It kinda gives me that niche luxury vibe I get from some Amouages, but this one is easier to wear. Lasted around 8-9 hours on me with really solid projection for the first few. Super classy, super addictive. If you like refined woods with a warm backbone, this is honestly a slam dunk.
Search really surprised me. I expected another polished niche citrus, but this has way more bite. The lemon peel opening is almost sharp, then the incense starts creeping in and gives it this dry, smoky edge that I absolutely love. There’s also a woody warmth in the drydown that makes it feel complete, not just fresh. It’s kinda the opposite of a sweet crowd-pleaser like Delina or even the usual compliment-bait stuff. This is more confident and understated. Still, I got compliments with it because it smells so put together. Lasts all workday on me, around 7-8 hours easy. Amazing quality.
I love this one, honestly. A lot of citrus-heavy scents smell nice for 20 minutes and then disappear, but Search actually sticks around. I get bitter orange, a dry incense vibe, and some clean woods in the base. That combo is just addicting. It feels crisp and energetic, but also a little mysterious, which is not easy to pull off. This is the kind of fragrance that makes you keep sniffing your wrist all day. Super versatile too, but it never feels boring or generic. You can wear it dressed up or with a t-shirt and it still works. One of the best modern Amouage releases for me.
This is so good. Search opens super bright to me, like a blast of lemon and lime peel, then it settles into this smoky, slightly woody thing that feels very Amouage but still easy to wear. I love how sharp it is without turning into kitchen-cleaner territory. It stays classy the whole time. Kinda reminds me of the feeling of Terre d'Hermes at first, but Search goes darker and more polished. Performance is excellent too, easy 8+ hours on my skin with really solid projection for the first few. If you like fresh perfumes but want something with depth and attitude, I def recommend this.
Tbh this is what I wish more fresh fragrances smelled like. Instead of just bergamot and vibes, Search gives me this intense citrus opening with smoky resin underneath, plus a dry woody backbone that keeps it grounded. It has texture. It has character. It smells expensive without screaming for attention. Not as loud or sweet as something like BR540 obviously, but way more interesting if you want something refined and grown. The projection is strong for the first couple hours, then it sits a bit closer but keeps going forever. I really can’t stop wearing it. It feels clean, serious, and sexy at the same time.
This stuff is incredible. First spray and I get this super vivid lime/lemon blast with a green edge that feels almost like peeling the fruit with your hands. Then the smoky incense starts creeping in and it turns into something way more serious and addictive. I love that contrast. It’s bright but also deep, which is not easy to pull off. Kinda gave me the same ‘wow what is THAT’ feeling I had the first time I tried Interlude, but this is way more wearable for me. Performance is excellent too, easy 8+ hours and people definitely notice it. If you like citrus but want something artistic and powerful, this is def worth trying.
Tbh this is one of those perfumes that makes me instantly stand up straighter. It smells tailored. I get dry cedar first, then a warm ambery depth with a little spice floating around in the background. It’s rich but not heavy, which is rare. Some woody scents go dusty or boring on me — this never does. It stays elegant the whole way through and feels special without being hard to wear. Performance is excellent too, around 8 hours easy with a nice scent trail. Not saying it smells like Delina or BR540 at all, but it has that same "people notice you" effect. Really, really good.
Usually I’m picky with citrus because a lot of them smell great for 15 minutes and then disappear. Search does the opposite. The opening is this insanely realistic lemon/lime hit, almost sparkling, and then the resinous incense comes in and makes it feel warm and textured instead of flat. That combo is so good. I wouldn’t compare it to something like Delina or BR540 at all, this is its own thing and that’s why I rate it so high. Super uplifting but also mysterious somehow. On my skin it lasts most of the day, and on clothes even longer. Def a compliment getter if people around you like bold scents.
The first few minutes were a lot for me, not gonna lie. Very tart lemon/lime and kind of aggressive. But once it calms down, wow. The drydown is where this shines: smoky, woody, slightly resinous, and really elegant without feeling old-school. That contrast is what I love most about it. It’s fresh, but not cheerful; more like polished and intense. If you like something like Terre d’Hermès but want it more niche and more dramatic, this could totally work. Minor flaw is just that opening, and the price hurts. Still, I keep coming back to it because it smells expensive in the best way.
I really like this one. It has that polished Amouage vibe but it’s way easier to wear than some of their louder stuff. I get a dry woody feel with a little incense and something slightly creamy underneath, almost sandalwood-ish to my nose. It smells expensive without trying too hard. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars for me is that the opening feels a bit sharp for the first 10 minutes, then it settles into something super classy. Performance is solid too, around 7-8 hours on me with decent projection for the first couple hours. Def more elegant than sexy, but still very addictive.
Search is really good, just not as easy to wear as I expected. I get a blast of lime, then a bitter citrus peel vibe, then this smoky resin in the background that gives it a lot of character. It almost feels like the opposite of those soft designer freshies. More grown, more serious. I love how crisp it smells, and the quality is obvious, but it can come off a little harsh if you overspray. Two sprays is perfect for me. Performance is strong too, like 6-8 hours easy. Not exactly office safe in high heat, but for evenings or cooler days? Super nice.
I love this stuff. The opening has a fresh spicy lift to me, then it settles into this creamy sandalwood/amber thing that smells ridiculously good up close. It’s not loud in a messy way, just confident. Kinda reminds me of the smoother side of Memoirs or even a less challenging Interlude, but way more wearable day to day. What really got me is how natural the woods feel. Nothing cheap or synthetic here. It stayed on my skin most of the day, easy 7+ hours, and on clothes it was still there the next morning. Def one of those fragrances that makes you keep sniffing your wrist.
This is a 5/5 for me, no question. Search has that gorgeous citrus sparkle up top, but what really makes it special is the contrast with smoky incense and dry woods. It feels focused and clean, but never plain. I love that it smells natural too, not screechy or synthetic like a lot of modern fresh releases. Kinda gives me the same satisfaction I get from good Chanel citrus fragrances, just more niche and more intense. It performs way better than I expected from this style as well. Great in warm weather, but I’d wear it year-round honestly. Just an easy recommendation if you want fresh with depth.
Tbh this is very good, just not love at first sniff. The opening gave me a slightly synthetic woody edge, almost pencil-shavings for a minute, but then it calmed down into a beautiful mix of dry woods, soft amber, and a hint of incense. That dry elegance is what makes it worth wearing. It feels niche in a real way, not weird for the sake of being weird. I wouldn’t call it cozy exactly, more sleek and tailored. Best in cooler weather for me. The price is also... very Amouage, so yeah, a little painful. Still, if you want a classy woody scent that doesn’t smell like everyone else, this is def worth trying.
Love this more than I thought I would. On me it opens a little dry and spicy, then turns into this airy cedar/incense thing that feels super calming. There’s also a faint creamy warmth in the background that keeps it from going too austere. It’s not super challenging, which honestly I appreciate. Some Amouages feel like a whole ceremony; this one is just easy to wear. Minor flaw: I wish it had a bit more depth in the mid, because there are moments where it feels almost too smooth and safe. But overall? Really nice stuff. Lasts about 6 hours on my skin and gets me compliments when people are close.
This is decent, but I kept waiting for a wow moment that never really came. I get a dry woody feel with a little spice and maybe a soft incense thing in the background, which sounds more exciting than it actually wears. It’s smooth and easy enough to wear, def classy in that polished Amouage way, but kinda forgettable for me. Not bad at all, just not something I’d reach for over other woody scents I own. Performance is solid though, around 6-7 hours with moderate projection. For the price, I wanted more personality. Feels like one of those fragrances you respect more than love.
This is kinda the definition of understated luxury. Not a beast, not trying to punch the room like Interlude, just smooth woods, a touch of spice, and a soft resinous vibe. I love how clean and refined it feels. It almost reminds me of some niche woody-amber scents, but less sweet and way more grown up than BR540 territory. My small issue is that it sits closer to the skin than I expected from Amouage, so if you want huge projection this may disappoint. Still, I keep reaching for it because it just smells really put together. Great for evenings, work, or anytime you want to smell expensive without being obvious.
Tbh this feels like Amouage playing it pretty safe. I mostly get cedar, a touch of smoky resin, and a faint creamy warmth underneath. It’s pleasant, wearable, and never offensive, so I can see it working in an office or dressed up at night. But for a house that usually gives me something dramatic or weird, this one is almost too controlled. Kinda reminds me of those expensive niche woods that smell nice but blur together after a while. Lasts well enough on skin, maybe 6 hours, but it sits closer after the first hour. Decent quality, just nothing special. I wouldn’t call it a scrubber, just not memorable.
Tbh this was a letdown. I was hoping for something rich and smooth, but on my skin it turns into this super dry woody cloud with a sharp spicy edge that never really settles. I get a bit of incense and maybe some cedar, but it feels more scratchy than refined. Kinda has that niche "serious perfume" vibe, except it forgot to be enjoyable. For the price, I expected way more depth and polish from Amouage. Performance is decent, like 6-7 hours, but it sits kinda close after the first hour. Not terrible, just really not my thing and def below expectations.
