I usually don’t go crazy for fresh fragrances, but this one got me. The ginger and incense combo is amazing here. It starts bright and airy, then gets this smooth smoky edge that makes it feel grown up and a little mysterious. Not aquatic in a cheap shower-gel way at all. More like fresh air, rocks, and expensive resins. I love this because it’s wearable but still has personality, which is rare. Kinda reminds me of some Chanel clean elegance, but with way more soul. Lasts around 7 hours on me with solid projection for the first couple hours. Super easy recommendation if you want something refined and different.
This one really snuck up on me. First spray, I liked it. By the end of the day, I was obsessed. The incense is clean and airy, not churchy overload, and the ambergris/mineral feel gives it this salty skin effect that’s super addictive. There’s a soft warmth in the drydown that makes it feel intimate even though it projects pretty well early on. I love scents that smell polished without being stiff, and Lineage does that perfectly. It’s elegant, a little meditative, and honestly just beautiful. Not trying to smell like Delina, BR540, or any trend. It’s doing its own thing, and that’s why I rate it so high.
Lineage is gorgeous. It gives me this contrast of cold mineral air and warm resinous depth, and I’m a sucker for that kind of tension in a fragrance. I mainly notice incense, ginger, and a salty ambergris touch, and they blend so smoothly that nothing sticks out in a harsh way. It smells very natural to me, not synthetic or screechy, which is a huge plus at this price point. I also love that it works dressed up or casual. Def more of a signature scent candidate than a once-in-a-while novelty. Lasting power is great, around 8 hours on skin and longer on clothes. Easy 5 stars from me.
This stuff is gorgeous. I get a really airy incense with a salty/mineral vibe, and then this smooth amber warmth underneath that keeps it from going too cold. It feels spiritual without being churchy, if that makes sense. Kinda reminds me of some of the moodier Amouages, but Lineage is easier to wear and way more addictive. I love how polished it smells the whole way through. Performance is excellent too, easy 8+ hours on me with very noticeable projection for the first few. Definitely niche-smelling and special, but I’d still wear it casually. One of those perfumes that makes you keep sniffing your wrist all day.
I really like this, even if it’s not an instant love. The opening on me is super bright and zesty, like lime and lemon peel, then it settles into this smoky, resinous thing with a slightly woody drydown. It feels very Amouage, but more stripped back and modern. Kinda reminds me of a niche take on fresh citrus, except way darker underneath. My only issue is the opening can be a little sharp for the first 10 minutes, almost too piercing. After that though, it’s gorgeous. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me with pretty solid projection for the first couple hours. Def a classy scent.
I’m obsessed with this one tbh. The opening gives me this bright ginger snap with salty air and soft frankincense in the background. It feels fresh, but not in a basic citrus-cleaner way. More like standing near the sea in expensive clothes lol. What I love most is how it balances freshness and warmth so well, because the amber keeps it grounded and cozy. Super classy, super wearable, and it gets better the longer it sits on skin. I’ve worn it in daytime and at night and it just works. Not cheap obviously, but this actually smells like luxury to me.
This is so good. On me, Lineage opens with this cool mineral/salty vibe, then the incense starts curling through it and gives it that classy Amouage depth without feeling too heavy. There’s also a soft amber warmth underneath that keeps it from going cold or austere. I love how weirdly calming it is while still smelling expensive and super put together. Kinda feels like standing by the sea in a crisp white shirt, if that makes sense. Performance is excellent too, easy 8+ hours and I keep catching it off my skin. Def one of those niche scents that actually feels unique instead of just trying too hard.
Lineage isn’t loud in a flashy BR540 way, but wow it has presence. On me it’s mostly incense, myrrh, and this cool mineral note that makes everything feel smooth and almost tactile. Really hard to describe, but it smells expensive and very intentional. I love this because it’s unusual without trying too hard. It has that calm, collected energy that makes you want to lean in closer. Lasts basically all day on my skin, and even when it softens it still smells amazing. Def a 5/5 for me. If you like elegant scents with a slightly mystical edge, this is easy to recommend.
I love this, but I totally get why some people bounce off it. It’s very mineral, salty, and incense-heavy, with a fresh spicy kick that keeps it from feeling dusty. If you’re expecting the richer, more opulent Amouage style, this might seem a bit stripped back. On me it wears like clean skin after standing by the ocean, then dries down into soft amber and resin. Really beautiful stuff. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it’s a little overpriced for something this subtle in the drydown, and it sits closer to the skin after a few hours. Still smells expensive and really well blended.
Tbh this is one of the few recent releases that felt special right away. I get a sparkling top, then incense, myrrh, and this salty mineral thing that makes the whole scent feel textured and alive. It’s not loud for the sake of being loud, but people notice it. I had two compliments the first time I wore it, which almost never happens with my weirder stuff. What I love most is how balanced it is: spiritual, fresh, warm, all at once. It smells niche in the best way, not inaccessible. If Reflection is the polished office guy, Lineage is his cooler friend who’s been everywhere.
Lineage smells like someone made an Amouage for people who don’t want heavy florals or syrupy sweetness. I get ginger, incense, and this metallic mineral thing that makes it feel super crisp and modern. Kinda reminds me of the clean airy side of Ganymede, but less futuristic and more spiritual. I love this on cool days or when I want to smell polished without trying too hard. It’s not a huge compliment magnet because it’s a little aloof, tbh, but I respect it a lot. Minor downside: it can feel a bit too serious, almost stern. Still, very classy and definitely niche in the best way.
This one surprised me. At first I thought, okay cool, another fancy citrus fragrance. But the lemon and smoky woods make it feel way more interesting than that. There’s this dry, almost incense-like edge that keeps it from going into basic summer cologne territory. I love that part. It smells clean without being soapy, and sharp without smelling cheap. Not totally versatile though, tbh. It has a serious mood and I wouldn’t wear it for every situation. Also the price is... yeah, very Amouage. Still, if you want something fresh that doesn’t smell like everyone else, this is really good stuff.
This smells like expensive hotel air to me. I get ginger up top, a little incense, and some soft woods underneath. It’s airy and refined, kinda gives me a cleaner, less dramatic cousin of another incense-heavy niche scent, but without that wow moment. I don’t dislike it at all. In fact, it’s pretty easy to wear and never feels too much. But for a 3/5, yeah, that fits: decent, smooth, slightly unique, then gone from my mind five minutes later. On skin it lasted maybe 6 hours with pretty soft projection after the first hour. Nice quality, just not something I’d reach for often.
This is really good. The first spray gives me this cool mineral/salty vibe with incense in the background, and it honestly feels like sea air hitting hot stone. Super atmospheric without going full weird niche just for the sake of it. I love how the frankincense stays clean instead of churchy, and there’s a soft amber warmth later that keeps it from feeling too sharp. Only minor flaw for me: the opening can come off a little austere, almost cold, so it’s not the easiest reach when I just want something cozy. Performance is solid though, around 7-8 hours on my skin with pretty noticeable projection for the first couple hours.
I can see why people like this, but I’m sitting at a solid 3/5. On me it’s mostly smoky frankincense with a dry, almost bitter citrus sparkle in the top. It smells quality, very smooth, and way more wearable than some heavier Amouages. That said, it also feels a little emotionally distant? Like I respect it more than I enjoy it. Kinda reminds me of those niche fresh-woody scents that smell expensive but don’t really pull you back in. Projection was moderate for a couple hours, then closer to skin. Nice for cooler days or office wear if you want something refined, just not something I’d call exciting.
Search is nice, just not wow to me. The opening has this sharp citrus thing, like lime and lemon peel, and for the first 20 minutes I was really into it. Super bright, clean, kinda uplifting. Then the smoky woody side comes in and it gets a bit flat on my skin. Not bad at all, just less interesting than I expected from Amouage. It lasts pretty well, around 7-8 hours, so performance is def not the issue. I just kept waiting for some twist that never came. Feels polished and easy to wear, but for the price? Tbh I wanted something more memorable.
First time I wore this I wasn’t even sure I liked it. The opening felt salty and almost peppery, with a dry incense note that came off kinda harsh. But then it settled and wow… it got smooth, airy, and weirdly comforting. There’s an ambery glow underneath that keeps pulling me back in. I love fragrances that smell like a place, and this really does that better than most. Not really sexy in the usual sweet/date-night way, more like mysterious and put together. Lasts most of the day on me, easy 8 hours. Minor flaw is it’s not super versatile—this has a mood, and if you’re not in it, it can feel a little distant.
Lineage is nice enough, but I’m not really getting the hype. The opening has this cool salty mineral vibe with incense in the background, and for a minute it feels very Amouage. Then it settles into something clean and woody that’s pleasant but kinda forgettable on my skin. Not bad at all, just not special for the price. It wears pretty smoothly and never gets harsh, so I can see it working in an office or if you want something polished and easy. Performance is decent, around 6-7 hours, but the projection drops faster than I wanted. Tbh I expected more personality.
Honestly kinda let down by Search. I was expecting something more polished from Amouage, but this just comes off harsh and weirdly thin at the same time. I get a blast of citrus up top, maybe bergamot or lemon, then it turns smoky and a little metallic on my skin. Not in a cool incense way either, just dry and scratchy. It has decent longevity, like 6-7 hours, but I wasn’t enjoying the ride enough to care. For the price, I wanted something smoother and more memorable. This feels more like an idea than a perfume I’d actually want to wear. Def not my thing.
I really wanted to love this because Amouage usually gives me something rich or memorable, but Lineage just felt kinda cold and weird on my skin. I get a salty incense thing with some mineral/ambergris vibes, and it never really settles into anything comforting. Instead it stays sharp and a little metallic, almost like wet stones and smoke. Unique? Sure. Enjoyable? not really, at least for me. Performance is decent, around 6-7 hours, but that almost made it worse because I kept waiting for it to get better. Tbh it smells expensive, but also a bit sterile and distant. For this price, I expected way more warmth and depth.
