Southern Bloom is exactly my kind of floral. It’s lush and creamy, but there’s also this fresh green lift in the opening that keeps it from feeling heavy. I get soft white petals, a bit of powder, and smooth woods in the drydown. Tbh it gives me the same feeling Delina gives some people, where you just want to keep smelling yourself, but this is less sharp and way more relaxed. Super wearable, super pretty, and it gets compliments without screaming for attention. Projection is moderate for me, not beast mode, just tasteful. I really can’t find much to complain about here.
Bad Boy is one of those scents I keep coming back to because it just smells good every single time. The pepper hits first on me, then I get this creamy tonka thing with a little cacao in the background that makes it feel cozy and kinda seductive. It’s not groundbreaking, but I really don’t care when it smells this polished. This is the type of fragrance that makes people lean in. I’ve had random compliments at dinner, in the car, even at work with lighter sprays. Really solid longevity too, around 8 hours on clothes and 6+ on skin. Easy recommendation if you want something modern and attractive.
This is straight up one of my favorite designer releases for going out. There’s this nice spark from bergamot in the opening, but what really sells it for me is the mix of black pepper and tonka bean. It smells dark, smooth, and a little sweet in a really sexy way. Not syrupy, not annoying, just confident. I own stuff like The One EDP and even Ultra Male, and this sits somewhere in between those for me: more modern than The One, less loud than Ultra Male. Projection is strong for the first 2 hours and then it stays close but present. Super reliable and just makes me feel put together.
Tbh I think this is one of Carolina Herrera’s best men’s releases. It has that fresh bergamot opening, but what keeps me coming back is the drydown. The sage gives it a clean aromatic feel and the tonka adds just enough sweetness to make it feel smooth and sexy. Nothing harsh, nothing messy. Just really easy to enjoy. It’s not as loud or sugary as some hyped clubbing scents, which I actually appreciate. Feels more polished. I get compliments almost every time I wear it, especially in cooler weather. If you want one bottle that can handle daily wear and still feel attractive, this is a def recommend.
