This was instant love for me. The cherry is juicy but polished, and the olibanum gives it that smoky church-incense twist that makes it feel special. Nothing about it smells cheap or overly sugary. It’s sweet, dark, smooth, and a little addictive. I can see this being amazing in fall/winter, especially with a black coat or dressed-up outfit. Lasted around 9 hours on my skin, which is exactly what I want from Xerjoff. Expensive, yeah, but this one actually feels worth it.
If you’re tired of sweet cherry perfumes, try this. Avanguardia feels way more grown up and layered. I mostly get cherry, styrax, and a soft tonka sweetness, and the whole thing has this dark amber-ish glow. It reminds me a little of the vibe of Rouge Smoking, but richer and more niche-smelling. Projection was strong for the first few hours, then it sat closer but still lasted forever on clothes. Honestly gorgeous, and I’d recommend sampling if you like bold fruity-resin scents.
This smells expensive in the best way. The mandarin in the opening gives it a bright pop for like 10 minutes, then it melts into cherry and warm resin. I was expecting something heavy and dramatic, but it’s actually really wearable if you like richer scents. Not office-safe for a tiny room maybe, but perfect for evenings or cooler weather. The drydown is gorgeous, smooth and slightly smoky. It kinda gives main character energy without trying too hard.
Okay this is stunning. The aldehydes give it a clean shimmer at first, then it melts into amber and myrrh and becomes this warm, resinous skin scent. Very smooth, no harsh patchouli, no dusty vintage vibe. It feels modern but still sensual, like something you’d wear with all black and good jewelry lol. Performance is great too, I got about 9 hours and it was still on my scarf the next day. Pricey, yes, but honestly it smells the part.
Tbh this smells rich. Not loud rich, more understated rich. I get smooth amber, a little cedarwood dryness, and that resinous labdanum thing that makes it feel deep and slightly smoky. It kinda reminds me of the cozy elegance of Dior Ambre Nuit, but darker and more textured. Nothing screechy, nothing cheap, just super blended. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments, which almost never happens with softer ambers on me. Absolutely special occasion worthy.

It’s bold but still wearable, which is hard to pull off. No screechy synthetic fruit, no headache sweetness. Just deep, elegant, expensive berry leather. On my skin it lasts around 9 hours and leaves a beautiful trail for the first few. If Delina is pretty pink romance, this is the black dress version.

It’s darker, almost wine-like, with smooth leather underneath. I was scared of the oud note, but it’s blended so well here, more depth than funk. Feels very unisex too, which I love. Not an everyday grocery store scent for me, more like dinner, events, nights out. Expensive smelling and absolutely worth sampling.
I’m into this. Avanguardia has that rich Xerjoff feel where everything smells smooth and high quality. The cherry is there but it’s wrapped in olibanum and tonka, so it comes off warm, resinous and a little mysterious instead of playful. It actually feels more unisex than I expected. My small complaint is that the drydown gets slightly repetitive after a few hours, mostly sweet resin on my skin. Still, it smells beautiful and I’d totally wear it out at night.
This is really good, just not totally effortless. I love the cherry and tonka combo here, it’s sweet and creamy but still grown up. There’s something herbal/fruity from the davana that makes it a little weird in a good way, like it’s not trying to be Delina or Lost Cherry. That said, I do think it can lean a bit thick if you overspray. Two sprays max for me. Performance is strong, especially on clothes, so def go easy.

This isn’t a room-filler on me, and I actually like that. Coeur Fetish Amber sits close enough to feel personal, but it has this gorgeous warm halo from the musk and amber. The almond adds a creamy softness that makes it insanely wearable. It’s not sweet like typical designer amber vanillas, and that’s what makes it feel classy. I could see wearing this to work if you spray lightly, then adding more for a date. Super versatile for something this luxurious.

Black Currant Extrait smells like wearing a black silk shirt in a dim cocktail bar. Dramatic, polished, and weirdly addictive. I mostly get tart black currant upfront, then this soft leather comes in and makes it feel expensive instead of just fruity. The oud is there but not harsh, thank god. It’s not a safe blind buy because it has attitude, but wow… when it works, it WORKS. I kept smelling my wrist all night. Projection is strong but not obnoxious.

Avanguardia surprised me because I expected another sweet cherry bomb, but this is more polished. My only issue is the opening is a little loud and slightly messy for the first 10 minutes, but once it settles it’s gorgeous. Lasts around 7 hours on me with decent projection.
Really nice one. The cardamom is what makes it for me, because without that it could’ve been just another smooth amber fragrance. There’s a little patchouli in the base that gives it depth, but it’s not dirty or hippie at all. More warm, polished, slightly spicy. I do wish it projected more because it sits closer after the first hour, but the scent itself is beautiful. Not as addictive as something like Grand Soir, but easier to wear and less syrupy. Solid 4/5 for me.
