This smells expensive, no doubt. I get blackcurrant right away, but not in a shampoo fruity way, more like a tart little edge over a soft rose. The black amber makes it cozy and slightly smoky later on, which I love. It kinda reminds me of a darker, less sweet version of some modern rose-amber scents, but with that airy Byredo DNA. I knocked off a star because it feels a little restrained for something called Absolu. Still, it’s beautiful and super easy to wear.
I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I do. The opening has this pink pepper sparkle that keeps it from feeling old-fashioned, then the papyrus gives it a dry, almost papery texture. Sounds weird but it works. It’s romantic without being sugary, and the patchouli is clean, not dirty or earthy. I’d say it’s more grown-up than cute. Performance is decent on clothes, maybe 8 hours, but on skin it’s more like 5-6. Very pretty, just not quite beast mode.
I really like this one. It feels like the original Rose of No Man's Land got dressed up for evening and added a little attitude. It’s elegant but not boring. My only issue is that it’s still pretty soft for an Absolu, I expected more drama. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me but projection is moderate.
This smells like the moody older sister of the regular L’Interdit. I get black cherry right away, but there’s also this dry oak thing that keeps it from being too sweet. It’s not super gourmand to me, more like cherry liqueur in a dark wood bar. Very elegant, but still a little playful. I love the vibe, I just wish the drydown had a bit more depth because the vanilla goes slightly flat on my skin after a few hours. Still, really pretty and easy to wear for evenings.
I really like this one. The black cherry comes in dark and syrupy but not cough syrup, thank god. Then the vanilla smooths it out and makes it feel kinda sexy and cozy at the same time. It still has that L’Interdit vibe, but deeper and more night-out than the original. My only issue is it can feel a little heavy if I overspray, especially indoors. Performance is solid on me, like 7-8 hours, with good projection the first couple hours. Def a 4/5 for me.

The sandalwood and musk come through really nicely, smooth and clean without being powdery or too sweet. I wouldn’t call it a beast mode fragrance, but it lasts long enough and leaves a classy little trail for the first few hours. It’s not as instantly memorable as something like Aventus or even Silver Mountain Water, but it has charm. Very good, just missing that extra wow factor.
Iris Debonair is really pleasant, but don’t expect anything wild. I mostly get pink pepper in the opening with a soft green violet leaf vibe, then it settles into a smooth amberwood base. It kinda reminds me of those understated luxury scents that smell great but don’t scream for attention. I’d wear this to work or a nice lunch, not really clubbing or date night. Minor complaint: it feels a little too careful, like Creed didn’t want to take any risks. Still smells high quality and super wearable.
This is honestly a perfect dumb-reach fragrance, and I mean that as a compliment. Explorer Infinite smells fresh, clean, and confident with that lemony opening and warm amber base. Nothing weird, nothing screechy, just super wearable. I can see this working in spring, summer nights, fall daytime, basically anytime except maybe freezing winter. It has that “fresh shirt, nice watch” energy lol. Projection is noticeable but not annoying, so it’s safe for work but still gets picked up by people near you. Highly recommend.

If you want something that smells clean, attractive, and modern, this is such a safe blind buy imo. I get sparkling bergamot at first, then a musky drydown that feels smooth and kinda cozy. It reminds me a little of those popular blue fragrances, but less generic and more refined. Not beast mode in a screechy way, thankfully, but it definitely projects enough. I kept catching whiffs of it on my hoodie the next day. This is the type of scent that just makes you smell put together.

Tbh this smells like something way more expensive than it is. The cedarwood in the drydown is my favorite part, clean and slightly woody without going pencil shavings. The bergamot keeps it fresh so it never gets heavy, even with the amber. It’s the kind of scent where you spray it and instantly feel put together. Reminds me a little of those classy mass-appealing fragrances like Bleu de Chanel, not a clone, just that same effortless vibe. Great longevity on my skin too, easy 8 hours.
