I’m into this, but I have to be in the mood. Ecstasy opens very green and piney, almost cold, then turns into this rich woody amber that feels smoky without being BBQ smoke. It kinda reminds me of those darker Serge Lutens foresty scents, just smoother and more polished. The labdanum gives it a sticky resin vibe that I love. It lasts well on skin, around 6-8 hours, but I wish the drydown had a little more contrast because it gets slightly flat later. Still, really beautiful and different.
Ecstasy surprised me. I expected something louder and more dramatic, but it’s actually pretty smooth once it settles. The opening is all pine and woods, kinda sharp for the first 10 minutes, then the amber and labdanum come in and make it warmer and softer. It gives expensive cabin in the mountains vibes lol. I love how natural it smells, but I do think the beginning might scare some people off. Not blind-buy safe imo, but if you like resinous woody scents this is def worth testing.
This surprised me. I expected a heavy smoke bomb, but it’s actually pretty wearable. On me it opens with cinnamon and this crisp apple note, then the smoky vanilla takes over and it becomes warm and slightly boozy. It has that smooth Iso E Super type vibe in the drydown too, kinda airy instead of dense. I like that it feels cozy but not basic. Minor flaw: after a few hours the apple disappears completely and it gets a little flat. Still, I’d happily wear this in fall/winter.
This smells like wearing a black wool coat in cold weather, if that makes sense. The black pepper is sharp at first, almost nose-tickly, but it settles into this dry musky thing that feels really modern. I don’t get a huge oud moment, more like a dark woody shadow in the background. It’s not cozy-sweet despite the tonka, so don’t expect something gourmand. Really nice and stylish, but def not a crowd-pleaser in the usual compliment-getter way. More for people who like weird little spicy perfumes.
This one is honestly pretty addictive. I get a sweet apple-cinnamon thing right away, but it’s not cheap candle vibes to me because the smoke comes in and makes it darker. Kinda smells like eating spiced apple dessert next to a fireplace while wearing a leather jacket. The bourbon vanilla smooths everything out after an hour and it gets softer, more cozy. My only issue is the opening is a bit loud and almost too sweet for 10 minutes. After that it’s great. Lasts around 7 hours on me with decent projection.
I love how straight-up this is. It opens with a big hit of black pepper, like freshly cracked pepper rather than some vague “spicy” note, then it gets softer with musk and a little patchouli underneath. It’s dry, warm, and kinda clean at the same time. Not beast mode on me, more like a solid 6 hours with moderate projection. My only complaint is it can feel a bit linear after the first hour, but honestly I don’t mind because the vibe is so good. Very CDG in the best way.
Wonderwood feels simple at first, then you realize it’s layered really well. The bergamot pops for like five minutes, then it’s all about that dry sandalwood and peppery warmth. No sweetness, no vanilla, no trendy BR540 vibe, thank god. It’s more mature and artsy, but still sexy in a low-key way. I get compliments from people who usually hate perfume because it doesn’t smell loud or chemical. Lasting power is great on my skin, easily 8 hours. Totally worth sampling if you love woods.
I love this because it doesn’t try to be sweet or mass-appealing. It’s just woods, spice, and confidence. The nutmeg is cozy without going gourmand, and the oud is really tame here, more polished than funky. If you’re scared of oud, this is honestly a great place to start. It smells niche but not impossible to wear. I’d wear it to the office, dinner, cold weather walks, whatever. Projection is moderate but the scent trail is so good. Absolute staple if you like woody fragrances.

This is one of those perfumes that feels more about atmosphere than smelling “pretty.” I get sandalwood, dry woods, and a little earthy soil thing that makes it feel grounded and kinda spiritual. The tonka is there but don’t expect a sweet cozy tonka bomb, it’s way more dry and resinous. I love it in cooler weather, especially with a black sweater or leather jacket. Projection is decent but not beast mode, which I actually prefer here. Taking off one star because it’s a bit too niche/serious for casual wear.

It kinda reminds me of Angels’ Share’s darker cousin, less boozy and more campfire. Performance is solid, not beast mode but people will smell you for sure. I wouldn’t call it versatile at all, and if you hate sweet smoke this will annoy you fast. For me though, it’s fun, bold, and very date-night coded.
Blackpepper is kinda addictive tbh. It’s simple but not boring — pepper, musk, and patchouli doing this smoky-dry dance on skin. Performance is decent, not huge, but I can smell it on my scarf the next day. Minor flaw is the opening might be too harsh if you spray heavy. Go easy and it’s great.
I love smoky perfumes but a lot of them go full BBQ on my skin. Smoking Hot doesn’t do that. The smoke is def there, but it’s wrapped in vanilla and cinnamon so it feels sexy instead of harsh. I don’t get tons of apple, more like a warm fruity sweetness in the background. It’s very Kilian, polished and a little extra. Not something I’d wear to the office, but for colder nights it’s amazing. I do think it’s overpriced, but the scent itself is really good.

Nice if you like dry spicy scents, but tbh I expected more punch.

This could’ve been too harsh, but somehow it’s smooth as hell. I get cashmeran giving it that soft fuzzy texture, with guaiac wood making it darker and a little smoky. It smells like expensive furniture, dry spices, and clean skin all at once. Very unisex too, not leaning too cologne-y or too sweet. I wouldn’t call it a compliment bomb, but people notice it in a quiet way. For me it’s a perfect fall/winter signature. 5 stars, no hesitation.
