Okay this one is a full yes from me. The amber is smooth and golden, and that maple syrup note is SO good without smelling like pancakes lol. It’s more soft gourmand than literal food. I also get a little lavender in the opening, which makes it feel calm and pretty instead of sticky sweet. Projection is strong for the first couple hours then it settles closer, but it lasts forever on clothes. I’d wear this on a date, to brunch, honestly anywhere I want to smell expensive and cozy.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting a basic vanilla amber, but the maple syrup note makes it feel kinda special and addictive. It’s sweet, yes, but the amber gives it depth and the lavender adds this pretty airy touch. Not really like Delina or BR540, more of a cozy Burberry sweater vibe. I sprayed it before dinner and could still smell it on my scarf the next day. Def 5/5 for me, especially if you like sweet perfumes that still feel classy.
I love this so much. It’s sweet but not in that cheap cupcake way… more like warm amber with a little maple syrup drizzle. The lavender keeps it from getting too heavy and gives it this soft, clean vibe. Honestly it feels like wearing a cashmere sweater while drinking something warm. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me and people definitely notice it, but it’s not obnoxious. Super easy reach for fall and winter, but I’d wear it whenever tbh.
I enjoy this a lot, but it didn’t completely blow me away. It smells rich and well blended, with cedarwood and a soft oud vibe that feels more designer-luxury than niche. Compared to regular Sauvage, this is smoother and less sharp, which is a big plus for me. Lasts most of the day, projection is moderate after the first hour. I got a couple compliments wearing it, so it definitely works. Just wish it had a bit more character for an extrait.
Sauvage Extrait surprised me because I thought it would be too heavy, but it’s honestly pretty wearable. I get a lot of dry woods and vetiver, kinda clean but still masculine and a bit mysterious. The oud doesn’t take over, which I appreciate because some designer oud scents get weird fast. This one is safe enough for going out but still has that darker edge. I wouldn’t wear it in high heat, but fall/winter? Perfect. Minor flaw is that it can feel a little too polished, almost too perfect.
Cavort feels fancy in a very Fragrance Du Bois way. The cinnamon gives it this cozy spicy kick, but the incense makes it darker and more interesting than a basic sweet amber. I love that it doesn’t go full gourmand, because that would’ve made it too much for me. It’s smooth, polished, and a little mysterious. That said, it’s not super versatile imo. I’d save this for nights out or colder weather, not an office scent unless you spray lightly. Performance is really nice, and the drydown is the best part.
This is one of those perfumes that smells better the longer it’s on skin. The first spray is spicy and a bit medicinal from the saffron, which I didn’t love at first, but give it 20 minutes and the patchouli and sandalwood come through so nicely. It becomes warm, woody, slightly sweet, and kinda addictive. I wouldn’t call it a compliment monster, more like something you wear for yourself or close-up situations. Lasting power is good, projection is moderate. Not perfect, but I keep wanting to smell my wrist.

It’s not as dramatic as I expected from the name, tbh. More soft goddess than golden goddess lol. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, and it sits pretty close after the first hour. I’d def buy a travel size before a full bottle, but I really enjoy wearing it.
Honestly this surprised me. I thought Goddess Amber Vanilla would be basic designer sweetness, but the lavender makes it feel more grown up and calm. The amber is smooth, not scratchy, and the maple syrup adds just enough sweetness to make it cozy. It kinda reminds me of those soft vanilla perfumes people wear with oversized sweaters, but less sugary. I don’t think it’s super unique, and the price is a little much for what it is, but it smells really good. Easy 4/5 for me.
This could’ve easily been too much, but it’s balanced so well. The vanilla is rich, the rum gives it a sexy little edge, and the musk keeps it smooth on skin. It’s sweet, yes, but not juvenile at all. I wouldn’t wear it to the gym or office maybe, but for nights out? Amazing. It has that addictive quality where you catch whiffs and go wow, that’s me. Really beautiful stuff from Sora Dora.
This is probably my favorite Sauvage version, but I’m not gonna pretend it’s a must-buy for everyone. It’s darker, woodier, and way smoother than the older ones. The cedarwood really stands out on my skin, with a little oud in the background making it feel more expensive. My only issue is the price… for an extrait I expected nuclear projection, but it’s more controlled. Not weak at all, just not beast mode. Smells amazing though, super polished.
I actually really like this one. It feels like Sauvage put on a black coat and stopped yelling so much. The cedarwood is super smooth, and I get this dry vetiver thing that makes it feel more mature than the EDT. The oud is there but not barnyard or anything scary, just gives it some depth. Performance is great on me, like 8+ hours easy, but it sits a little closer than I expected for the price. Still, very classy and def date night material.

Minor complaint: for the price, I wanted a little more wow factor. Still very good though.

Def one of the better Fragrance Du Bois ones I’ve tried.

I was expecting another basic vanilla-tonka thing, but nope, this is special. Mandorle Extrait feels thick and velvety, with cacao and woods giving it this dark cozy vibe. It reminds me a little of those niche gourmands that smell expensive instead of just sweet, but this one is smoother than most. Lasting power is great, projection is noticeable but not obnoxious. Honestly if you’re into warm addictive scents, this is sample-worthy at minimum. Full bottle worthy for me.
