Tbh the name is perfect because this is WOOD in every direction, but somehow it never gets boring. The peppery opening is sharp for like five minutes, then it settles into this smooth cashmeran/sandalwood cloud that feels expensive as hell. I don’t usually love oud because it can go too heavy on me, but here it’s blended so well. More modern than traditional. I’d wear this with a black sweater and boots, very effortless cool energy.
This is one of those perfumes that makes me feel instantly more put together. It’s not sweet, not trendy, not trying to be sexy in an obvious way. I get a lot of guaiac wood and sandalwood with this spicy nutmeg thing that makes it feel warm without being cozy. Super polished but still artsy. If you like clean woody scents but want something with more depth than Molecule 01 type stuff, def try this. Lasts all day on clothes.
I love this so much. Wonderwood smells like walking into a really fancy wood shop, but not in a dusty old furniture way. The sandalwood is creamy, the pepper gives it a little bite, and the oud is there but super wearable. Nothing barnyard or scary. It’s dry, smooth, and kinda addictive. I keep sniffing my wrist like a weirdo. Performance is great on me too, easily 8+ hours, but it doesn’t scream across the room. Just feels confident and cool.
Amazingreen is such a vibe. It starts super green and sharp, almost crunchy, then the hazelnut comes in softly and gives it this smooth little warmth underneath. I wasn’t expecting to love it this much because green scents can be too grassy on me, but this feels artsy and polished. Not sweet, not boring, not trying to be mass appealing. It lasts about 6-8 hours and gets compliments from people who usually hate perfume.
This is exactly why I love Comme des Garçons. Amazingreen is crisp, odd, and addictive. The vetiver is dry and clean, but then there’s this smoky metallic thing that keeps it from smelling too safe. I don’t really get “pretty perfume” here, more like cool person scent. Kinda reminds me of walking through a greenhouse after rain, but someone nearby is lighting matches. Performance is really solid on me too. 5/5 easy.
Comme des Garçons 2 is honestly brilliant. The incense here is gorgeous, airy and smoky without feeling like church or campfire. I also get a little mandarin brightness in the opening, which keeps it from being too serious. This smells like something niche brands are still trying to copy years later. It’s abstract but wearable, which is hard to pull off. I wouldn’t call it a compliment bomb, but perfume people will def ask what you’re wearing. Lasting power is great on my skin too.
I love this because it smells clean, but not boring clean. The aldehydes give it this sparkling metallic vibe, then there’s tea and cedar making it feel calm and dry. Kinda reminds me of a fancy Japanese stationery shop, if that makes sense lol. It’s not sweet, not loud, not trying to seduce anyone, but it still gets attention because it smells so different. Performance is solid, not beast mode, but it hangs around all day on clothes. Super easy 5 stars for me.
This is one of those scents that just feels cool without trying. I get a weird inky aldehyde thing at first, then the tea and incense slide in and it becomes super smooth and moody. Not dark in a heavy gothic way, more like a clean black shirt and a rainy city street. It’s honestly so unique compared to most designer stuff. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me and projects politely, which I actually like. Def a 5/5 if you’re into artsy, slightly strange perfumes.
I love this because it doesn’t mess around. Wonderwood is basically woods on woods, with some nutmeg and bergamot at the start to keep it from feeling too heavy. The opening is my favorite part, spicy and dry but still clean. After that it settles into smooth sandalwood and cashmeran, very minimalist but not boring. I wouldn’t call it a compliment monster, more like something you wear for yourself. Performance is decent, maybe 6 hours, with soft projection. Only flaw for me is the price feels a bit much for how simple it is.
I really like Wonderwood, especially when I’m in the mood for something dry and kinda serious. It opens with this spicy nutmeg/pepper thing, then quickly turns into a smooth pile of sandalwood and guaiac wood. Not sweet at all, which I appreciate. It feels like walking into a fancy wooden furniture shop, but in a wearable way lol. My only issue is it can get a little flat after a few hours, like it doesn’t change much. Still, super classy and easy to wear if you like woody scents. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me.
Amazingreen is one of those scents I didn’t love immediately, but it grew on me fast. The green bell pepper note is sharp at first, almost like chopping vegetables, but then the white musk smooths it out and the vetiver makes it clean and dry. It’s fresh but not sporty, green but not earthy hippie oil. Minor flaw: the opening might put people off if they’re used to stuff like Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage. But if you want something different for warm weather, this is def worth trying.
This is a masterpiece imo. The green bell pepper note sounds scary, but it’s not like food or salsa lol. It’s crisp, bitter, and alive, mixed with vetiver and a soft white musk drydown that makes it feel clean but not generic. I wear this when I want to smell smart and slightly mysterious. It’s not Delina-pretty or BR540-sweet, it’s way cooler than that. Lasts all day on my jacket. Absolutely worth trying.
Tbh this smells like a tropical forest designed by an architect. The palm tree note gives it that humid green feel, but the smoke makes it darker and way more interesting. I love that it’s fresh without smelling like shower gel or laundry musk. It has that CDG abstract thing going on, but it’s still easy to wear if you like unusual scents. Projection is moderate, longevity is great on clothes. Highly recommend if you’re bored of citrus freshies.
This is a masterpiece for me. The opening is sharp and fizzy from the aldehydes, almost like ink and citrus, then it settles into patchouli and incense in the smoothest way. Nothing hippie, nothing dirty, just polished and slightly strange. It has that Comme des Garçons DNA where it feels intellectual but still totally wearable. I wear this when I want to smell interesting, not pretty or sweet. Lasts easily 8 hours on fabric. If you like safe fruity florals, maybe skip, but I adore it.
Tbh I expected this to be too artsy for everyday, but nope, I reach for it a lot. The mate and tea give it this dry green bitterness that I’m obsessed with, and then the amber warms it up just enough. It’s not cozy in a vanilla way, more like warm paper, smoke, and clean skin. Sounds odd, smells amazing. I love that it doesn’t smell like anything at Sephora. Projection is moderate but the scent trail is really classy.
I love this so much. Amazingreen smells like snapping a green bell pepper in half while standing near a smoky campfire, but somehow it’s super wearable and chic. It’s not a basic “fresh green” scent at all, more like futuristic jungle air with a little gunpowder edge. Sounds strange but it works beautifully. I get around 7 hours and the projection is decent without choking anyone out. Def one of the most unique greens I’ve tried.
This smells like dark woods, pepper, and a bit of earthy patchouli to me. Very Comme des Garçons, meaning it’s not trying to be sexy or pretty, it’s just cool. I get a slight oud vibe but nothing barnyard or scary, more smoky and polished. It kinda reminds me of a less loud, more wearable Tam Dao if Tam Dao went darker. Great for fall and rainy days. Minor complaint: it can feel a little monotone after the opening, so I don’t reach for it every day. Still, when I’m in the mood, it hits perfectly.
Wonderwood is one of those fragrances that feels cozy without being cuddly or sweet. The sandalwood is creamy-ish, but the pepper and patchouli keep it kinda dry and sharp. I love that it smells natural and mature, not like a generic “men’s woody cologne.” It’s definitely more about texture than compliments, if that makes sense. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people close to you will notice it. I’d give it 4 stars because it’s beautiful, but sometimes I wish it had a little more warmth or depth in the drydown.
Really cool fragrance. The palm/green accord gives this humid jungle vibe, then there’s this dry smoke in the background that keeps it from being too pretty or basic. It’s not “sexy” in the usual sweet amber way, but it has confidence. I wore it to work and got one “you smell interesting” comment, which honestly fits it perfectly. It sits pretty close after the first hour, so don’t expect beast mode. Still a 4/5 for me because it’s creative and actually wearable.
This is such a CdG scent lol. Amazingreen smells fresh, but not in a blue shower gel way. I get vetiver, green pepper, and a smoky mineral edge that makes it feel almost futuristic. It reminds me a tiny bit of a cleaner, greener cousin to some of their incense stuff, but way more wearable. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, with moderate projection. I do wish the hazelnut came through more because that could’ve made it warmer and more rounded.
