I really like this one. Althaïr Exclusif feels warmer and a bit more dressed up than the regular Althaïr to me. I get a lot of cinnamon and cardamom at first, then this sweet praline thing comes in and makes it super cozy. It’s not full-on gourmand though, there’s a musky/woody edge keeping it from being too edible. Performance is solid, around 7-8 hours on me with decent projection. My only issue is it can feel a little dense if you overspray, especially indoors. Still, very good cold weather scent.
Althaïr Exclusif is decent, but I expected more tbh. The opening has that warm saffron/cardamom thing going on, then it gets sweeter with a praline vibe, but it never really turns into anything super exciting on my skin. It smells expensive and smooth, just a little predictable for PDM. Kinda reminds me of a designer amber sweet scent dressed up in a nicer bottle. Performance is fine, around 6-7 hours, projection is moderate. I’d wear it in cooler weather, but I don’t think I’d rush to buy a full bottle.
Okay this one is a 5/5 for me. Yum Pistachio Gelato smells like marshmallow, pistachio cream, and a tiny cozy tonka thing in the background. It’s not a loud beast mode fragrance, but it leaves this soft sweet cloud that feels super pretty. I actually like that it’s not too dense, because some gourmands get suffocating fast. This is playful, girly, and kinda comforting at the same time. Perfect for spring or nights out when you want something delicious but not basic vanilla.
This is such a happy perfume. I was expecting straight up ice cream, but it’s more interesting than that. The bergamot gives it this bright opening, then the pistachio comes in creamy and nutty without smelling like fake almond extract. It’s sweet for sure, but not headache-level sweet on me. Kinda reminds me of those soft fluffy Kayali DNA scents, but this one has more personality. I wear it when I want to smell cute and edible. Projection is moderate, but people still notice it.
I love this so much, it’s honestly one of the most fun gourmands I own. The pistachio and whipped cream are super creamy, but it doesn’t go weirdly buttery or heavy on me. It smells like a fancy pastel dessert shop, kinda sweet and airy but still cozy. I get a little bit of marshmallow in the drydown and it’s addictive. Performance is really good too, like 7-8 hours on my skin and even longer on clothes. Def a compliment getter if people like sweet scents.
Okay yeah, I get the hype. This smells like pistachio gelato with a soft cotton candy cloud around it, but somehow it doesn’t turn childish on me. The drydown is creamy and slightly woody, which makes it feel more expensive than I expected. I wore it out shopping and caught whiffs of myself for hours, which is my favorite kind of perfume experience. It’s not trying to be Delina or BR540 or anything trendy, it’s just its own sweet little thing. 5 stars, no notes.
This one surprised me because I expected basic sugary pistachio, but it has way more personality. The cardamom gives it this tiny spicy lift at the start, then it melts into creamy ice cream and nutty sweetness. It’s cozy but also kinda flirty. Not beast mode, but I actually like that because it feels more wearable than some super loud gourmands. If you like sweet perfumes but want something different from the usual vanilla/caramel stuff, def try this. It’s a full bottle worthy scent for me.
Yum Pistachio Gelato is literally my comfort perfume. I mostly get marshmallow, pistachio, and a little tonka in the drydown, and it’s just so soft and cozy. It’s sweet for sure, but not immature to me. More like wearing a fluffy pastel sweater while eating dessert lol. I’ve worn it to work, brunch, and dates and it always gets a “you smell good” comment. Projection is moderate, longevity is great on clothes. I’d rebuy this without even thinking.
This is the gourmand I wanted it to be. The pistachio and whipped cream are so pretty together, super soft and cozy, but there’s still something airy about it. I was scared it would smell like straight up syrup, but nope, it feels more like a fancy gelato shop than a cupcake candle. It reminds me a little of Sol de Janeiro energy, but more polished and less beachy. Lasts a solid 6-8 hours on my skin. Honestly 5/5 because it’s sweet, cute, and very addictive.
I love this so much, like it instantly puts me in a good mood. On me it’s creamy pistachio with a soft ice cream vibe, but not in a cheap body spray way. It’s sweet, fluffy, and kinda nutty without becoming heavy or sticky. The opening is playful but the drydown gets smoother and warmer, almost like a dessert you’d actually want to wear. I get around 7 hours and people definitely notice it, but it’s not choking anyone out. Easily one of Kayali’s most fun scents.
I get why people are split on this, but I love it. It’s creamy, sweet, and a little nutty with that pistachio note floating around the whole time. The rum gives it a tiny boozy warmth, which makes it feel less like a body mist and more like an actual perfume. Not as loud or sexy as Vanilla 28, more soft and cute. My only issue is that the drydown becomes kinda generic sweet woods on my skin, but the first few hours are so nice.
This smells like a fancy pistachio marshmallow dessert, not straight up gelato to me. I love the fluffy marshmallow part and the hazelnut gives it this nutty sweetness that feels cozy but still playful. It’s not as heavy as some gourmands, so I can wear it during the day without feeling like a cupcake factory. Performance is decent, maybe 5-7 hours, but it sits closer after the first hour. I’d give it a 4 because it’s fun and addictive, just not super groundbreaking.
Yum Pistachio Gelato is honestly prettier than I expected. I thought it would be super sugary and childish, but the cardamom and tonka give it a cozy little twist that keeps it from being just cotton candy. It’s creamy, slightly nutty, and very Kayali if that makes sense lol. I don’t get a huge beast mode scent, more of a soft bubble around you. Minor complaint: the opening can feel a bit synthetic for the first 10 mins, but then it settles nicely.
I really like this one, it’s such a cute fluffy gourmand. On me it starts a little bright with bergamot, then turns into pistachio ice cream with whipped cream vibes. Not super realistic gelato, more like a sweet pastel dessert perfume, but I’m into it. The only thing is I wish the pistachio stayed louder because it gets kinda musky/soft after a while. Lasts around 6 hours on me, projection is moderate. Very fun and easy to wear.
I wanted creamy pistachio ice cream and got more of a sweet tonka/cotton candy cloud with a little nuttiness. It’s pretty, don’t get me wrong, but it feels kinda safe and a bit synthetic on my skin. The bergamot in the opening is cute and gives it some lift, but that disappears fast and then it’s just sweet fluff. If you love soft gourmands you might enjoy it, but for me it’s a solid “decent, wouldn’t buy full bottle.” Lasting power is average, nothing beast mode.
This is nice in a soft, sweet way, but I expected more pistachio tbh. On me it’s mostly whipped cream and marshmallow with a tiny nutty thing in the background. The opening is kinda fun, like a pastel dessert shop, but it gets a bit vague after an hour. Not bad at all, just not as addictive as the name made me hope. Performance is okay, maybe 5-6 hours, but projection stays pretty close. I’d wear it casually, not something I’d reach for if I wanted to smell super unique.
I wanted to love this so bad because pistachio gelato sounds amazing, but on me it’s kinda all over the place. The opening has this sweet pistachio/ice cream vibe for like 5 minutes, then it turns into a weird fuzzy marshmallow sweetness that feels cheap and a little plasticky. I barely get the creamy dessert thing everyone talks about. It’s more like cotton candy body spray with a nutty afterthought. Performance is also meh, sits close to skin after an hour or two. Not awful, just super disappointing for the hype and price.
I totally get why people obsess over this. Vanilla | 28 smells warm, sweet, musky, and just addictive. The musk keeps it soft and cozy, while the amber gives it that golden, slightly resinous vibe. I don’t find it juvenile at all, which is rare for vanilla scents. It reminds me of the drydown of a really luxe gourmand, but less heavy than some beast mode perfumes. Performance is great on clothes especially. Honestly a 5/5 for me.
This is such a compliment getter for me. It starts off sweet and kinda boozy, then turns into this smooth vanilla orchid and amber cloud that smells expensive but still super wearable. Not loud in an obnoxious way, but people definitely notice it when they’re close. I wore it to dinner and got asked what I had on twice. It’s simple, yeah, but in the best way. Like a perfect little black dress of vanilla perfumes.
I love this so much. Vanilla | 28 is that deep, cozy vanilla that feels warm without being cupcake-y. I get a lot of amber and a little patchouli, which makes it feel more grown and sexy instead of just sweet. It’s amazing on its own but also layers with literally everything. On me it lasts around 7-8 hours and gets better as it sits on skin. Def one of those perfumes I’d recommend to anyone who loves warm vanilla.
