This is def a quiet luxury scent. I mostly get creamy sandalwood, clean but not soapy, with a slightly strange powdery edge that makes it feel more interesting than a basic woody perfume. It kinda reminds me of something you’d wear with a cashmere sweater, very smooth and put together. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, but projection is moderate at best. I wish it had a bit more sparkle in the opening, but overall it’s really beautiful and easy to wear.
I really like this one, it has that polished Penhaligon's vibe but feels softer than I expected. The cream note is super smooth, almost like a fancy lotion, and the sandalwood keeps it from going too sweet or childish. There’s also this “unknown” fuzzy floral-ish thing in the background that makes it hard to pin down, in a good way. My only issue is it sits pretty close after a couple hours, so don’t expect a room-filler. Still, it smells elegant and expensive without trying too hard.
I love the mood of this. It’s sweet, warm, and a little romantic without turning into a basic sugary perfume. The candied date is my favorite part, it gives this chewy ambered sweetness, while the rose keeps it feminine and smooth. The blood orange is quick on me but really pretty while it lasts. I took off a star because after a few hours it gets a bit linear, like it just hums the same tune. Still, it smells expensive and cozy in a very Gucci way.
This is beautiful, but I’m not screaming over it. The rose is soft and polished, and the patchouli gives it that slightly earthy designer-niche thing. I get a fruity sweetness too, probably the blood orange/date mix, but it’s not candy-candy. It kinda reminds me of those luxe rose fragrances like Delina’s older, calmer cousin, less tart and more golden. Lasts well, maybe 6-8 hours, but projection is moderate. I’d wear it for dinner or cooler evenings, just not sure I’d pay full retail.
The opening is my favorite part. That plum note is rich, dark, and a little sweet without turning syrupy. Then the leather kicks in and makes the whole thing feel more bold and confident. I get why people say this smells like old money with a wild side. It’s very wearable for evenings and colder days, but I don’t think it’s super versatile. Also, for an Intense, I expected slightly more punch. Still, it smells amazing and very put together. Easy 4/5 for me.
Ambrosia del Deserto is def one of the nicer Gucci high-end scents imo. I was scared the candied date would go sticky syrup, but it’s actually smooth and kinda jammy with the rose. The blood orange keeps it from feeling too thick in the opening. It gives rich aunt on vacation, in a good way lol. Not super loud, but people near you will smell it. I wish the drydown had a little more drama, but overall it’s gorgeous and very wearable.
This smells classy as hell, but also kinda serious. Like I wouldn’t wear this to grab coffee in sweatpants. The leather and patchouli combo gives it a mature vibe, but the plum keeps it from being too dry or old-school. I love that balance. It’s not as mass-appealing as something like BR540 or Layton, but it has more personality imo. Projection is noticeable for the first few hours, then it settles closer. Minor flaw: sometimes the patchouli feels a bit sharp on my skin.

I really like Mister Sam Intense, but it’s def not an easy dumb reach. The plum is sweet and almost boozy to my nose, then it dries down into this warm leather thing that feels kinda smoky and polished. It reminds me a little of those modern masculine niche scents that are trying to be sexy but not loud. Performance is good, maybe 8 hours, but it can feel a bit heavy if I spray too much. Two sprays is perfect. Very good, just not something I’d wear in hot weather.

Ambroxan gives it that modern clean lift, but it doesn’t go screechy or synthetic on my skin. It stays smooth from start to finish. I wouldn’t call it sexy in a clubbing sense, more like effortlessly attractive. Lasted about 8 hours on me with moderate projection. Absolutely worth sampling, maybe even full bottle worthy.
Cedro Virtuoso is one of those fragrances that just works. It’s fresh, woody, clean, and still interesting enough that I don’t get bored. The bergamot opening is bright but not sharp, and the sandalwood makes the drydown really smooth. I wore it to dinner and got asked what I had on, which doesn’t happen often with subtle scents. It feels unisex to me too, maybe slightly masculine but not aggressively so. Really beautiful stuff.
The hazelnut in this is what makes it special for me. It’s not gourmand or sweet like dessert, just this smooth nutty warmth under the cedar that makes the whole thing feel polished. The musk is clean and soft, and the drydown is seriously addictive. I kept smelling my sleeve all day lol. If you like woody scents but want something a little different from the usual Bleu/Chanel type stuff, def try this. 5 stars easy.
This is such a classy fresh woody scent. I get bergamot right away, then the cedar and a soft tonka warmth come in and make it feel cozy instead of just another citrus cologne. It kinda gives quiet luxury, like a white shirt, good shoes, no drama. Not beast mode, but it projects enough and lasts most of my workday. Honestly one of the best Acqua di Parmas I’ve tried. Super easy to love.

It has that niche feel without being difficult to wear. I’d wear this for dates, events, even just because I want to smell amazing. Performance is strong on clothes especially, like next-day strong. Easy 5/5 for me.
Papaya in a luxury fragrance sounded weird to me, but wow, it works. It gives this soft tropical fruitiness at the start without turning into vacation body spray. Then the resin and leather come through and make everything darker, smoother, and way more grown up. I’m obsessed with how balanced it is. Fresh for the first few minutes, then warm and deep after that. This is def not your typical citrus-woody scent. Lasted most of the day on my skin too, which is rare for me.
