Blamage is a modern, slightly experimental white-woods leather-musk extrait that opens with a sharp, cool/metallic/woody brightness (often described as birch or white woods) with fleeting floral and fruity facets (some report peach/soft florals). The opening can read smoky/painty or slightly synthetic to some noses, then quickly softens into a powdery, musky, leathery dry-down with warm amber/vanilla-leaning sweetness in places. The overall effect is skin-like, creamy and refined — animalic/musky at times but restrained and powdery later. It’s distinctive, somewhat avant-garde, and often described as unisex, mysterious and long-lasting. Best suited for cooler weather and evening or transitional-season wear; projects moderately to strongly in early wear and settles to a moderate, intimate-to-moderate sillage on drydown.
