Tbh this was a letdown for me. I was hoping for a rich saffron moment, maybe something smooth and spicy, but on my skin it turns oddly sharp and kinda medicinal. There’s a leathery vibe in the drydown that should be cool, but it just feels harsh and unfinished here. I kept waiting for it to round out with something warmer and softer, and it never really did. Performance is decent, like 6-7 hours, so I can’t even say it disappears fast lol. It just sits there being annoying. Maison Crivelli usually does interesting stuff, but this one feels more challenging than enjoyable. Not my thing, especially for the price.
A lot of fresh perfumes/colognes end up smelling generic to me, but this one has something a little different. There’s a salty mineral thing with light lemon and soft woods that keeps it interesting. It gives me expensive coastal vacation energy. Not tropical, not sunscreeny, just clean sea breeze and skin. I love this on casual days and honestly it gets compliments because people notice it up close. It’s not loud at all though, so if you want strong projection this might disappoint you. For me that’s fine. It’s understated and really easy to wear. Price is a little steep, but the scent is def quality.
