This is gorgeous tbh. I usually get bored with tea perfumes because they can feel thin, but Matcha Meditation has actual texture. I get bergamot for a minute, then mostly this creamy matcha vibe with benzoin underneath making it smooth and slightly sweet. Not sugary, not dessert-y, just really balanced. It kinda reminds me of sitting in a quiet cafe with a fancy matcha latte and expensive hand cream on. If you want beast mode this is not that, but I think the softer projection fits the mood perfectly. Elegant, calming, super wearable. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear it.
I love this way more than I expected. The green tea note is soft and calming, but then that creamy white chocolate comes in and makes it feel cozy instead of sharp or spa-like. The little pop of mandarin in the opening keeps it from getting too sleepy. It kinda gives me the peaceful version of a gourmand, like if a sweet scent went to therapy lol. Super easy to wear and somehow still feels special. On me it lasts around 6 hours with a soft cloud the first couple hours, then sits closer to the skin. Def one of the most comforting Maison Margiela scents and an easy 5/5.
I love this way more than I expected. The green tea note is super soft and creamy, not bitter or overly herbal, and that little hit of mandarin in the opening makes it feel bright without turning into a basic citrus scent. Then the white chocolate comes in and gives it this smooth, cozy vibe that honestly feels addictive. It really does smell like a peaceful tea break, but chic. Kinda reminds me of a softer, more wearable take on the whole skin-scent trend. Performance is good too, around 6-7 hours on me, with a gentle cloud instead of beast mode. Def one of the prettiest comfort scents I’ve tried.
This one just hits. From the first spray I get a bright mandarin sparkle, then the green tea and cedar start showing up and it turns into this clean, creamy, slightly woody skin scent that feels ridiculously comforting. It doesn't smell like straight matcha powder to me, more like the idea of matcha made pretty and wearable. I actually prefer this over a lot of louder sweet perfumes because it feels more put together. Not really in the Delina or BR540 lane at all, which is refreshing. Lasts about 5-7 hours on me, enough for daytime. Super easy recommendation if you want something fresh but still cozy.
This is such a pretty, easy reach. I get bergamot and green tea first, then a smooth woody drydown with a bit of cedar that keeps it from being too sweet. It kinda reminds me of those minimalist Japanese skincare stores in the best way. Not loud, not trying too hard, just really put together. I love this for daytime or work because it feels polished and relaxing at the same time. Minor flaw: the matcha idea is more creamy-clean than realistic, so if you want a super bitter tea scent this may disappoint. Performance is decent though, around 5-6 hours with soft projection.
This is really pretty. I get a clean white peony with that fizzy aldehyde sparkle on top, and it gives the whole thing a soft, expensive shampoo vibe in the best way. It feels airy and polished without going full soapy on me, which I appreciate. Kinda has that fancy hotel lobby cleanliness, but still feminine and calm. My only issue is it doesn't change much after the opening, so if you want a big dramatic journey, this probably isn't it. Still, I love how easy it is to wear. Super classy for work or daytime. On me it lasts around 5-6 hours with soft projection.
I really like this one. The green tea is soft and a little airy, then that white chocolate comes in and makes it feel creamy without turning into a dessert bomb. The mandarin in the opening gives it a nice little sparkle too. It honestly smells like sitting in a quiet cafe with a fancy matcha latte, which sounds cheesy but that's exactly the vibe. My only issue is I wish it projected more because after the first hour it sits pretty close to the skin. Still, it lasts around 6 hours on me and feels super easy to wear. Calm, clean, a little cozy. Def one of the better Replica releases.
This is nice, just not as dreamy as the name makes it sound. I get a soft green tea with a little bergamot sparkle at first, then the white chocolate comes in and makes it creamy. It’s smooth and easy to wear, super office-safe, but also a bit too polite for me. I kept waiting for some wow moment and it never really happened. Kinda reminds me of those clean skin scents that smell pleasant but blur together after a while. Performance is okay-ish, around 5-6 hours on me, with pretty soft projection. Decent for everyday, but for Maison Margiela pricing I wanted something more memorable.
I wanted to love this more than I actually do. The white peony is soft and watery, and the aldehydes give it that crisp, soapy glow, kinda like a luxury hotel scent. There’s something smooth and understated here that makes it easy to reach for, especially in spring. But that’s also the problem: it’s almost too safe. No real twist, no wow moment, no note that sticks in my head. If you like delicate, close-to-skin florals you might be into it. For me it’s a solid 3/5 — pleasant, clean, wearable, but a bit overpriced for how generic it feels.
I’m obsessed with this one. It sits pretty close to the skin after the first hour, but I don’t even care because the scent itself is so good. I get matcha-like green tea, a touch of benzoin warmth, and a creamy sweetness that keeps it from feeling too sharp or watery. It has that same comforting effect people talk about with Lazy Sunday Morning, but this is way more interesting to me. More textured, more cozy, more memorable. I’ve had random compliments from people leaning in for a hug, which feels very on-brand for this fragrance. Quiet, intimate, and just really beautiful.
This is gorgeous. If you want a loud, sugary gourmand, this is probably not that, but if you like calm, clean, slightly milky scents, wow. The green tea and bergamot are what I notice first, then it settles into this creamy white chocolate thing that feels so comforting. Not dessert-y, just smooth and expensive smelling. I keep reaching for it on days when I want to smell put together without trying too hard. Super office safe too. Lasts about 6 hours on my skin, a little longer on clothes. Tbh this is one of the few Replica scents that feels really special and not just cute.
This is such a smart fragrance. The opening has that little mandarin sparkle, but it quickly melts into creamy tea with a soft woody base from the cedar. It feels clean and serene, but never boring. That’s the part I love most — it’s relaxing without smelling like spa products or generic green perfume. I’ve tried a lot of tea scents and some go too grassy or too citrusy. This one stays balanced the whole way through. Honestly, it’s one of those scents that makes me pause and sniff my wrist all day. Really easy to wear, but still unique enough that I’d recognize it instantly.
Tbh this might be my favorite Maison Margiela Replica, and that surprised me. The mix of green tea and white chocolate is just so good. It sounds weird on paper, but on skin it comes off creamy, airy, and weirdly calming. There’s also a soft mossy/woody feel underneath that keeps it from getting too sweet. I wouldn’t compare it to Delina or BR540 at all — this goes in a completely different direction, more subtle and grounded. But it still feels luxe. I wear it when I want something peaceful and polished. Not huge projection, but the longevity is solid enough for me, around 6 hours.
Tbh this surprised me. I expected something more weird or artistic, but Tears From The Moon is just a very smooth, fresh floral with white peony doing most of the work. The aldehydes give it that crisp, almost chilled feeling, like fresh fabric but prettier. It kinda reminds me of the clean side of Chanel perfumes, though this is softer and less sharp. I love this for days when I don't want to think too hard and just want to smell put together. Minor flaw: for the price, I wish it had a little more projection. It sits fairly close after the first hour. Still very lovely.
This is nice, just not exciting. I get a soft white peony with that clean aldehydic sparkle on top, and it feels very polished, almost expensive shampoo-ish in a Gucci way. Super easy to wear and def office friendly, but tbh it never really goes anywhere. It stays light, fresh, and kinda distant the whole time. On me it sits close to the skin after like 2 hours and is mostly gone by hour 5-6. I don’t hate it at all, it’s pretty and serene, but for the price I wanted more personality. Decent if you want something airy and elegant, just nothing I’d rave about.
Love this for spring. The opening has that fresh mandarin pop, then pretty quickly it melts into a mellow tea vibe with a slightly mossy, clean finish. It feels soft and expensive without being flashy. I keep reaching for it when I want something comforting but not heavy. It's not beast mode at all, so don't expect a room-filling trail, but honestly that works for this scent. It wears like a little aura instead of a statement perfume. My small complaint is that it gets a bit linear after the opening. Still, what it does, it does really well. Super easy to like and easy to wear.
Tbh I was expecting something greener and sharper, but I ended up loving it anyway. On me it's more of a creamy tea scent with benzoin in the base giving it this soft, slightly resinous warmth. The white chocolate is there, but it's subtle and smooth, not sugary. It doesn't smell like Delina or BR540 territory at all, which is refreshing. This is quieter, more intimate, more of a personal comfort scent. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is the projection isn't amazing and it can feel a little too delicate for the price. Still, it's beautiful and very wearable when you want something calming.
Tbh I don’t dislike this at all. The opening has that mandarin/tea combo that feels bright and relaxing, almost like sitting in a cute cafe for 20 minutes. Then it settles into a creamy, slightly woody skin scent with a touch of cedar. Sounds lovely on paper, and it is pleasant, but it also feels kinda thin and generic. I was hoping for something more unique, especially with the matcha idea. Instead it stays very soft and never really develops. Not offensive, not amazing, just fine. I’d wear it on a casual daytime errand run, but I’m not reaching for this over other fresh, cozy scents.
Tbh I wanted to love this because the name is gorgeous, but the scent itself feels weirdly empty. I get a clean aldehydic sparkle at first and a soft white peony vibe underneath, but it never really turns into anything interesting. It just sits there smelling like expensive shampoo and then fades into a vague musky floral blur. For a Gucci private line scent, this feels super underwhelming and kinda overpriced. Not offensive at all, sure, but also not memorable in the slightest. Performance wasn’t great either on me, maybe 4-5 hours and pretty close to the skin fast. Elegant? Yes. Worth it? Not really.
I really wanted to love this because the whole matcha + white chocolate thing sounds amazing, but on my skin it just feels muddled. The opening has a nice little burst of bergamot, then it turns into this soft sweet-green cloud that never really says “matcha” to me. More vague tea lotion than actual tea. The white chocolate also comes off a bit waxy and kinda synthetic, which ruined the calm vibe I was hoping for. Performance didn’t help either — sat super close to the skin and felt mostly gone in like 4-5 hours. For the price, this was a letdown tbh. Cute concept, but not something I’d reach for.
