Dallachaï feels different from the usual nuclear sweet Montale stuff, and I mean that as a compliment. It still performs like a beast, but the scent is smoother and more balanced. The passionfruit gives it this bright weird twist, then the cardamom and musk pull it back into soft spicy territory. I kept smelling my sleeve all day. It’s not a safe blind buy if you hate spices, but if you like warm saffron scents, this is seriously worth trying.
This is gorgeous. I was scared the clove would be too loud because clove can go full dentist office on me, but here it’s smooth and spicy in the best way. I get saffron, amber, and this soft musky drydown that feels expensive. It kinda reminds me of a spiced version of those sweet amber Montales, but less basic and more interesting. Perfect date night scent imo. It’s warm, cozy, and a little mysterious without being heavy.
I love this way more than I expected. The saffron hits first, but it’s not that dry leathery saffron some perfumes do. It’s warm and kinda glowing, then the passionfruit makes it juicy without turning tropical shampoo. The cardamom is what makes it addictive for me, like a cozy chai vibe but dressed up. Very Montale performance too, I got a solid 8+ hours and people definitely noticed it. It feels unique but still super wearable. Honestly a 5/5 for me.
The opening is super fun, like tangy plum with a little peppery pop, but the drydown is what sold me. That vanilla sugar and cashmere musk combo is so smooth and addictive. It gets creamy, slightly sweet, and still has that plum skin vibe hanging around. I kept sniffing my wrist all day like a weirdo. It’s definitely noticeable but not suffocating if you do 2 sprays. I’d wear this for dates, nights out, or honestly anytime I want to feel cute and expensive. Easy 5 stars.
Tbh Montale can be hit or miss for me because some of them go screechy, but Be My Plum is stunning. The pink pepper opening is bright and sparkling, then the plum comes in fresh and tart, almost green instead of jammy. What really makes it special is the cashmere musk drydown, it gets cozy and soft without losing that fruity bite. It feels modern and a little mysterious. Lasted through my work day and I could still smell it on my scarf the next morning. Absolutely full bottle worthy.
This one grew on me. First spray was kinda odd, like leather mixed with a dusty iris note and something hard to place. After 20 minutes though, it becomes really chic. The patchouli stays clean, not hippie at all, and the whole thing has this dry, refined vibe. Not sexy in a sweet way, more like cool person in a gallery opening. Projection is moderate and it sits closer after a few hours, but it lasts fine. I’d give it 4/5 because it’s unique and wearable, just slightly too dry for daily use.
This is really nice if you like leather that isn’t super harsh or biker-jacket loud. I get a smooth iris right away, kind of powdery but not old-fashioned, and then the leather-vetiver thing settles in. It feels classy and a little mysterious, like something you’d wear with a black coat. My only issue is the opening has this vague “unknown” synthetic edge for the first 10 mins, but it calms down fast. Lasts around 7 hours on me with moderate projection. Def very Memo, polished but still interesting.
Dallachaï surprised me because it’s not just another beast mode amber bomb. I get saffron, clove, and a soft amber base, with this fruity brightness popping in and out. It kinda reminds me of a spicy niche version of those fruity ambers everyone is doing, but less sweet than something like BR540-inspired stuff. It wears warm and a little mysterious. My only complaint is the drydown gets a bit musky-flat after a few hours. Still really good and def worth sampling.

I love how it balances sweet and fresh-ish, because a lot of Montales go way too syrupy on my skin. Be My Plum still has that loud Montale DNA though, so spray lightly unless you want to announce yourself. My only complaint is it gets a little repetitive after a few hours, but the scent itself is super wearable.

If you’re scared of oud, this might be the one to try. The Cambodian oud gives Be My Plum depth, but the plum keeps it juicy and wearable. It’s not heavy in that smoky dark way, more like a glossy fruity-woody cloud. I wouldn’t call it fresh exactly, but it has this sharp green sparkle that stops it from being too sweet. Kinda gives me niche boutique vibes, not something everyone at the mall is wearing. Projection is strong for the first few hours, then settles nicely. Big yes from me.

Tbh Memo’s leather style just works for me. This one feels smooth and expensive, not screechy. The iris gives it a soft, slightly powdery vibe and keeps the leather from going too rough. I also get a clean vetiver in the drydown that makes it wearable and not too heavy. It’s not as loud or dramatic as some other leather scents, which I actually like. Minor flaw: for the price, I wanted a bit more wow factor. Still, it smells amazing and lasts most of the day on clothes.
