I liked Fleur Narcotique before, but the Extrait is where it really clicks for me. The bergamot opening is brighter, the heart feels more lush, and the sandalwood/musk base makes it stick around way longer. It’s still fresh and pretty, just with more depth. Some fruity florals can feel generic after 20 minutes, but this stays interesting the whole wear. There’s a glossy, almost silky texture to it that I’m obsessed with. Kinda gives me the same easy addiction factor as BR540 in the sense that you keep catching random wafts all day, but the smell itself is totally different. This one feels elegant, modern, and very worth experiencing.
I love this because it does that clean/fresh thing without turning into generic shampoo territory. The green notes are crisp, the bergamot keeps it airy, and then there’s this soft mysterious depth that makes it feel more luxe than most fresh scents. Kinda reminds me of the idea of a crisp floral musk, but less obvious and more refined. I’ve worn it to work and out to dinner and it never feels out of place. Projection is noticeable but not too much, which I really appreciate. If you like elegant scents that still feel modern, this is such an easy yes.
Tbh this is one of those scents that doesn’t scream for attention, but people notice it anyway. The bergamot gives it a bright little sparkle up top, then the green notes keep it airy and tailored. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of some Chanel exclusifs in the sense that it feels polished and understated, but this still has its own YSL personality. I love how natural it smells. Nothing syrupy, nothing heavy, just smooth and chic from start to finish. Performance is really solid too, like 6-7 hours easy on me. This is the kind of perfume that makes you feel put together instantly.
Usually when something is this hyped I expect to be underwhelmed, but nope, this is beautiful. The bergamot opening is crisp and classy, then the lychee adds this juicy glow without turning syrupy. What really got me though is the sandalwood and moss underneath — it keeps the whole thing from feeling too girly or generic. It’s elegant, a little sexy, and just really put together. If BR540 is loud and sugary-glassy, this feels more natural and chic. Not trying too hard, just effortlessly good. I’ve worn it in warm weather and cooler evenings and it works both times. Great projection at first, then sits closer but still lasts most of the day.
This one really surprised me. I expected something pretty, but not this addictive. The bergamot opening is crisp and uplifting, then the green notes keep it cool and smooth instead of citrusy-clean. It has that expensive boutique feel, like walking into a luxury store in a pressed shirt and great shoes lol. I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments with this, mostly from people saying I smell “so elegant” which honestly fits. It’s fresh, but there’s depth there. Not sharp, not synthetic to my nose, just beautifully blended. Lasts all day on me and feels special every single wear.
I love this because it manages to be soft and noticeable at the same time. The osmanthus is really pretty here — not overly floral, more velvety and fruity — and the musk in the drydown is just gorgeous. It smells super refined, like clean silk and expensive skin, but not in that boring shampoo way. Tbh a lot of fruity-musky scents blur together for me, but this one stands out because it feels airy and sensual at once. It’s easy to wear to work, dinner, whatever. Very versatile. Lasts around 7 hours on my skin and leaves a lovely trail without going beast mode. Honestly hard to fault.
Sometimes perfumes try to do way too much. This doesn’t. It’s simple in the best way: bright bergamot, soft green tones, and this clean refined aura that feels super natural on skin. I love this for days when I want to smell amazing without announcing myself from across the room. It sits a little closer after the first hour, but it keeps radiating in that subtle chic way for hours. Honestly, this is the kind of scent that makes people lean in. Very wearable, very elegant, and somehow both relaxed and dressed up. If you like understated luxury, this is absolutely worth trying.
This is pleasant, just not super memorable. I get the pink pepper first, then a soft frankincense haze that makes it feel a little dreamy and airy. The juniper gives it a cool, slightly gin-like freshness which I actually like. But tbh the whole thing stays very polite and never really turns into anything exciting. It’s kinda niche-clean in that Byredo way, but not as addictive as Bal d’Afrique or even Gypsy Water on me. Performance is okay, around 5-6 hours, and projection sits pretty close after the first hour. Decent if you want something calm and easy to wear, but for the price I expected more personality.
This is so classy without being boring. I get a crisp bergamot opening and those green notes pretty fast, but it never goes harsh or overly soapy on me. It feels like wearing a perfectly cut white blouse, which I guess is the whole point, and honestly YSL nailed that vibe. Super clean, elegant, and expensive-smelling. I love this for daytime, but it still has enough presence to feel special. Lasts around 7-8 hours on my skin with soft but noticeable projection. If you like fragrances that feel refined and effortless instead of loud, this is def worth trying. Easy 5 stars for me.
This is gorgeous. The bergamot hits first and gives it that bright little sparkle, but what really got me is the soft green vibe underneath. It smells polished without being stiff, like a white blouse that somehow makes the whole outfit look expensive. I love how smooth this feels on skin—nothing harsh, nothing screechy, just classy and super easy to wear. It lasts really well too, around 7-8 hours on me with a nice scent trail for the first few hours. Tbh this is one of those perfumes that makes you stand straighter. Super elegant, very YSL, and absolutely 5-star worthy for me.
This is so good. The lychee hits first and it’s bright, juicy, a little sparkling from the bergamot, then it settles into this super smooth musky-sandalwood thing that just feels expensive. I love how polished it smells without becoming boring or too clean. It has that airy fruity-floral vibe, but richer and more addictive than the original to my nose. Kinda gives me the same “pretty people smell amazing” energy as Delina in terms of compliment factor, but this is less tart and more sleek. Performance is excellent too — easily 8+ hours on me with really nice projection for the first few hours. Def one of those fragrances that makes me keep sniffing my wrist.
Not loud, not flashy, just insanely well done. The lychee is fresh and lightly sweet, then the musk and moss give it this clean skin-but-better finish that keeps pulling me back in. Tbh this is one of those fragrances that doesn’t need to scream to be noticed. People come closer and then ask what you’re wearing. I actually prefer that over beast mode scents. It has that polished niche feel without being weird or difficult. If you like fruity florals but want something more elevated, this is such a safe blind reach. I get around 7-8 hours, with moderate projection. Really classy and super addictive.
This is the kind of scent that makes you understand why people spend money on niche. Nothing is harsh here. The lychee is juicy, the osmanthus is smooth, and the musk drydown is just beautiful. It smells clean, expensive, and a little dreamy. I also love that it works in basically any season. Spring is obvious, but I’ve worn it in cooler weather too and it still felt right. Projection is noticeable without being too much, which I appreciate because I can wear it anywhere. Honestly I don’t have much to complain about. It’s pretty, chic, and just really easy to love. Total compliment getter on my skin.
I really like this one. It opens with that sparkly pink pepper thing and then the frankincense slides in and makes it feel a little dreamy, a little cold, but still soft. The juniper berries give it a clean gin-like twist that keeps it from getting too churchy. It’s not loud or super sexy, more like quietly cool and put together. On me it lasts around 6 hours with pretty soft projection after the first hour. My only issue is that it gets a bit abstract in the middle, like I wish there was one more note to grab onto. Still, def one of Byredo’s nicer airy incense scents.
Some fresh scents are nice for five minutes and then disappear. This one actually sticks around, and that alone made me love it. The opening is sparkling bergamot, then it settles into this green, clean, almost silky cloud that feels super luxe. Not loud like BR540 at all, and thank god for that. It’s more subtle, more tailored, more grown. I’d wear this to brunch, to work, or on a date when I want to smell amazing without trying too hard. Projection is moderate for me, but it lasts most of the day. Really beautiful stuff, and honestly one of the easiest 5/5s I’ve given.
Blouse Extrait smells expensive in a very low-key way. Not loud, not trying too hard, just effortlessly chic. I get bergamot up top and a cool green freshness that makes it feel almost tailored, if that makes sense. It doesn’t remind me of Delina or BR540 at all, thank god—this goes in a much cleaner, more understated direction. What I love most is how put-together it makes me feel. Like fresh hair, nice skin, perfect shirt. Performance is great for something this refined too; I got a solid 6-7 hours and could still catch it on my clothes later. Def recommended if you want classy over flashy.
I love this way more than I expected. Osmanthus can sometimes go weird on my skin, but here it gives this velvety floral-fruity thing that feels insanely smooth. The sandalwood underneath keeps it creamy without making it heavy. It kinda reminds me of the vibe Delina gives off in terms of being instantly pretty and upscale, but this is less rosy and way more refined to my nose. Super wearable too. I’d wear it to dinner, to work, anywhere really. Lasted most of the day on me and never got screechy. Just a beautiful, put-together scent that makes you feel expensive. 5/5 easily.
This is super wearable if you like fresh spicy scents that don’t scream for attention. I get juniper first, then pink pepper, and later just a smooth incense haze. Kinda reminds me of the clean, understated side of Byredo in general, not as attention-grabbing as something like BR540 at all, which I actually appreciate. It feels chic and easy, like a white shirt in perfume form. I love this for daytime or office wear because it stays close and never turns heavy. Minor flaw: performance is just decent, maybe 5-6 hours, and I do wish the opening lasted longer because that part is so nice.
I don’t dislike this at all, it’s just very 3/5 to me. The opening has a nice crisp juniper berry thing with a little pink pepper sparkle, and the frankincense keeps it from feeling too basic. For a second I thought it was going somewhere really cool, then it kinda levels out into a soft, clean woody-ish blur. Not bad, just not wow. It wears smoothly and never gets harsh, so I can see this working for everyday or the office. But if you want something with real depth or drama, this probably won’t do it. Lasts okay on skin, nothing crazy.
Tbh this just didn’t come together for me. The opening has that pink pepper sparkle and a little juniper bite, which made me think it was going somewhere cool and airy, but then it turns oddly flat and kind of murky. The frankincense is there, but not in a smooth mystical way - more like a faint dusty haze that never fully develops. On my skin it stayed pretty close and felt vague the whole time, like an unfinished idea. For Byredo money, I expected way more personality. Not offensive, just kinda forgettable and a little disappointing.
