This is gorgeous. I mostly get creamy sandalwood with a soft fig sweetness and a little cardamom sparkle in the opening. It feels super smooth and polished, but not boring at all. Kinda has that serene, expensive vibe Guerlain does so well. The oud is there, but on me it stays very tame and just gives the woods more depth instead of going funky or harsh. I love this because it smells comforting and luxe at the same time, which is rare. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me with a nice soft trail. If you like woody scents but want something gentler and more refined, this is such an easy 5 stars.
This is one of those scents that just makes me feel put together. Not sexy in an obvious way, not loud, not trying to be trendy. Just really beautiful. I get soft iris first on my skin, then that fruity apricot glow starts peeking through and it’s so addictive. The bergamot keeps it from feeling heavy, which I appreciate. It smells expensive in a very natural, effortless way. I’ve worn it to brunch, work, and dinner and it fit every situation. Projection is moderate, longevity is very good, around 7 hours on me. Honestly I can’t stop reaching for it.
I like this a lot, just not quite enough to call it a love. The apricot is gorgeous here, not syrupy, more like a soft fuzzy fruit note, and the iris gives it that smooth makeup-powder vibe. Super classy. My only issue is I wish it had a bit more depth because it stays light and airy the whole time. If you’re into big indolic jasmine, this might feel too clean and polite. But for daytime? So nice. Very easy to throw on for work or brunch and not annoy anyone. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, with soft projection.
Tbh this surprised me. I was expecting a basic white floral, but the apricot really makes it stand out. It gives the jasmine a juicy, almost velvety feel, and the bergamot keeps the opening fresh so it never gets heavy. It kinda reminds me of some designer fruity florals, but this smells more refined and less shouty. Not as instantly attention-grabbing as Delina or anything like that, but way more understated and chic. My one complaint is the price for the performance. It smells beautiful, but I do need a few extra sprays and it’s not all-day on me. Still def one of the prettier easy-wear florals I’ve tried.
I love this. If you usually avoid oud because it can get too loud or medicinal, def try this first. Here it’s wrapped in sandalwood and cardamom, so the whole thing comes off warm, creamy, and really elegant. There’s also a subtle resinous touch from the myrrh that makes it feel a little dressed up. It doesn’t scream for attention like some niche woody perfumes do, which honestly makes it more special to me. Very refined, very Guerlain. I’d wear this on a dinner date or even to the office if I spray lightly. Performance is solid too, around 6-7 hours with smooth projection. Easy recommendation.
There’s something about this that instantly lifts my mood. The opening has that juicy apricot and a fresh bergamot sparkle, then it settles into this silky, almost makeup-like iris that feels so chic. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear it. It’s not sugary, not harsh, and not one of those perfumes that tries to copy BR540-style sweetness. Thank god. This feels more airy and refined, but still very memorable. I’ve gotten a few compliments with it, mostly from people saying I smell really elegant. Lasts a solid workday for me and the quality is obvious. One of my favorite Guerlains, easy.
This is nice, just not wow to me. I get a soft bergamot opening, then it turns into this fuzzy apricot-iris thing that feels clean and polished, but also kinda generic for the price. It’s definitely pleasant and easy to wear, especially if you want something elegant without being loud. But tbh I kept waiting for a moment where it really became special, and it never quite did. Performance is okay on me, around 5-6 hours, with pretty soft projection after the first hour. I don’t dislike it at all, it’s just one of those perfumes I’d sample and enjoy, then forget about later.
This is nice, don’t get me wrong, but for a Guerlain exclusive I wanted way more. I mostly get a soft peachy floral thing with some rose and a creamy vanilla base. It smells polished and expensive, just not that memorable. The whole “gardenia” idea feels more like a smooth floral blur than an actual wow moment. On me it stays pretty close to the skin after the first hour, and overall performance is decent, around 5-6 hours. I’d wear it if I wanted something elegant and easy, but I wouldn’t reach for it over other soft florals in my collection. Good, not amazing.
Some woody perfumes make me appreciate them more than actually enjoy wearing them. This is not one of those. I genuinely love wearing Santal Pao Rosa because it’s just so smooth and easy. The cardamom gives a little sparkle up top, the sandalwood is creamy and calming, and the oud stays in the background where it should. Everything feels blended to perfection. No rough edges, no funky animalic twist, no headache. Just gorgeous, luxe woodiness. Tbh this is one of those scents that makes a simple outfit feel more put together. It projects nicely without becoming too much and lasts most of the day on me. Pricey, yes, but the quality is there.
Tbh this one surprised me. I expected something heavier, but Santal Pao Rosa feels airy and intimate even with myrrh and oud in the mix. The fig gives it this smooth, almost milky feel, and the sandalwood is just beautiful here. Not sharp, not dusty, just creamy and natural. It kinda reminds me of the calmer side of Santal 33 without the pickle thing, and way more luxurious. This isn’t beast mode, but I actually love that about it. It sits close enough to feel personal, yet people definitely notice when they hug you. Super classy, super wearable, and one of those scents I keep sniffing my wrist for.
Tbh this surprised me. A lot of floral-fruity perfumes go generic on my skin, but this one feels really special. The apricot is juicy without turning shampoo-y, and the iris keeps it classy instead of girly. There’s also a little bergamot sparkle at the top that makes the first spray so addictive. It kinda reminds me of the polished, pretty side of some designer florals, but this has more texture and depth. Not like Delina at all to me, less tart and way more smooth. Performance is great too. I still catch it on my clothes the next day. Super easy recommendation.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting a straight jasmine bomb from the name, but what I really get is this luminous apricot-bergamot opening with a super smooth iris running through it. It feels sunny and polished at the same time. Kinda gives me that happy, expensive Guerlain glow without trying too hard. I love how it stays elegant the whole way through and never turns screechy or overly sweet. On me it lasts around 7 hours with a soft but noticeable trail for the first couple hours. Honestly one of those scents that makes you stand a little taller when you wear it. Easy 5/5 for me.
I love this because it feels refined without being boring. The bergamot in the opening is bright and crisp, then the apricot comes in and makes everything feel creamy and cheerful. The iris is what really hooks me though. It gives that slightly powdery, velvety vibe that makes the whole thing smell super luxe. If you like fragrances that are pretty but still have character, this is def worth trying. It doesn’t scream across the room, but people around you will notice. I got solid wear from it, around 6-8 hours. To me this is the kind of perfume Guerlain does better than almost anyone.
This is one of those perfumes that just smells happy. The bergamot opening is sparkling, then I mostly get jasmine with a soft apricot sweetness and a little iris powder. It’s smooth, very feminine, and super put together. I love this for spring and early summer because it feels sunny without turning into a tropical fruit bomb. That said, it’s not super unique. If you own a lot of soft floral-fruity scents, you may not be blown away. But Guerlain does it really well, and sometimes that’s enough. Lasts about 6 hours on me with moderate projection for the first hour or two, then it gets more intimate.
This one really surprised me because I usually don’t go crazy for fig, but here it’s beautiful. The fig adds this velvety, slightly green creaminess that works so well with the sandalwood. Then the myrrh gives it a soft resin glow in the drydown that keeps it from feeling too basic. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear this, which is always a good sign. It smells rich in that effortless Guerlain way. Not flashy like BR540, not rosey like Delina, just smooth woody luxury. I think this works dressed up or casual, and it feels super unisex to me. Lasting power is very solid, especially on fabric.
Jasmin Bonheur smells good, but that’s kinda the whole review lol. The apricot is the main thing I notice, with a powdery iris underneath that gives it a dressed-up vibe. It’s smooth and feminine, not too sweet, not too sharp, so I can see why people would call it versatile. My issue is it feels a little too safe. For a Guerlain, I wanted more personality or at least a stronger jasmine presence, and this never really grabs me. It sits fairly close to the skin and stays there. Nice for daytime or work, but not something I’d reach for when I want to feel excited.
Cruel Gardénia is pleasant in that clean, creamy way, but tbh it never fully grabbed me. I get neroli up top, then a silky sandalwood-tonka drydown that’s cozy and a little powdery. It kinda reminds me of those expensive department store florals that smell very “put together,” but also a bit safe. Not bad at all, just missing personality. I can see why some people love it for daytime or the office because it’s super easy to wear and won’t offend anybody. But for the price? I need more than just pretty. Lasts okay on me, not weak, not beast mode either.
This is really pretty. I get a bright little pop of bergamot first, then it turns into this soft apricot-jasmine cloud with a powdery iris thing in the background. It feels cheerful and polished at the same time, very Guerlain to me. Not a loud perfume at all though, so if you want beast mode, this probably isn’t it. On me it sits closer to the skin after a couple hours and lasts around 6 hours total. Still, I love how easy it is to wear. It’s feminine without being too sugary or too sharp. Kinda feels like spring sunshine in perfume form.
Tbh I expected way more from this. The opening has a cute apricot-bergamot thing for like five minutes, then it just turns into a blurry floral-powdery cloud that feels weirdly unfinished. I was hoping the iris would give it something elegant and creamy, but on my skin it reads more dry and slightly synthetic than luxe. Not ugly, just kinda boring and messy at the same time, which is a bad combo. For a Guerlain, this really didn’t wow me. Projection stays pretty close and the whole thing feels thin after the opening. I don’t hate it, but for the price? Def disappointed.
I really wanted to love this because the name sounds so dreamy, but tbh it just fell flat on me. The peach in the opening is nice for like five minutes, then it turns into this vague powdery floral thing with a neroli/rose vibe that feels weirdly muted and a little synthetic. Not ugly, just... boring. For something from Guerlain, I expected more depth and a smoother drydown, especially with sandalwood and vanilla listed. Instead it stays soft and kinda fuzzy, then sits super close to the skin. I got maybe 4-5 hours tops. Feels elegant in theory, but in practice it’s overpriced and forgettable.
