What I love is how balanced this is. It doesn’t scream, but it absolutely leaves a trail when you move. The black amber and patchouli make it deeper than a typical fresh rose, but it never gets dirty or heavy. Tbh I usually find Byredo a little too airy for the price, but this one actually feels worth it. It’s romantic, polished, and super wearable. I’d wear this to work or a date easily.
I’m obsessed with this. It has that clean Byredo rose DNA but the Absolu feels way richer and moodier. The saffron gives it this warm, slightly leathery edge, and the blackcurrant keeps it from going too serious. Super elegant but not boring at all. I wore it to dinner and could still smell it on my scarf the next day. Def more grown-up than the original Rose of No Man’s Land, in the best way.
Wow, this one surprised me. I expected something sweet and safe, but it has way more attitude. The black cherry is bold right away, then the vanilla comes in and makes it addictive, and the oak adds this slightly smoky/woody edge. It smells modern but still sensual, not trendy in a cheap way. I could see this being a signature for someone who likes sweet perfumes but wants them darker. It’s beastly on my jacket too, I smelled it days later. Absolutely worth testing.
I love this so much it’s actually ridiculous. The black cherry is deep and juicy, but not cough syrupy at all, and the vanilla makes it smooth without turning into a cupcake. There’s this oak thing underneath that gives it a darker, almost boozy vibe. Super sexy but still classy, like a black dress and red lipstick perfume. On me it lasts easily 8+ hours and people notice it without it choking the room. Def one of the best L’Interdit flankers imo.
Iris Debonair is exactly my type of fresh-woody scent. The pink pepper gives it a little sparkle at the start, then the lavender makes it feel calm and classy. What I love is that it never turns harsh or generic, which a lot of clean masculine-leaning scents do on my skin. The amberwood in the base adds just enough warmth so it doesn’t feel cold. Projection is moderate but noticeable, and it lasts most of the day. Super wearable but still feels special.
This is so effortlessly expensive smelling. Not loud, not trying too hard, just really well blended. The bergamot opening is bright and crisp, but the violet leaf gives it that slightly green, tailored feel that I love. After an hour it gets softer with musk and sandalwood, very smooth skin-but-better type of luxury. I could wear this to work, dinner, basically anywhere. It kinda gives quiet confidence rather than “look at me.” 5/5 for me, easy.
I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I do, but wow. Iris Debonair smells super polished without being stiff or old-school. I get a cool violet leaf vibe up top, then lavender comes in and makes it feel clean but not soapy. The sandalwood drydown is honestly gorgeous, smooth and a little creamy. It feels like something you wear when you have your life together lol. Lasted around 7 hours on me with a classy scent bubble. Def one of the better modern Creeds imo.
I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I do. The opening has this pink pepper sparkle that keeps it from feeling old-fashioned, then the papyrus gives it a dry, almost papery texture. Sounds weird but it works. It’s romantic without being sugary, and the patchouli is clean, not dirty or earthy. I’d say it’s more grown-up than cute. Performance is decent on clothes, maybe 8 hours, but on skin it’s more like 5-6. Very pretty, just not quite beast mode.

It’s not super gourmand to me, more like cherry liqueur in a dark wood bar. Very elegant, but still a little playful. I love the vibe, I just wish the drydown had a bit more depth because the vanilla goes slightly flat on my skin after a few hours. Still, really pretty and easy to wear for evenings.

What really sells it is the oak, because it gives the whole thing depth and stops it from being just another sweet cherry scent. I don’t find it childish at all. It’s feminine, warm, and very put together. Projection is really good for the first few hours, then it sits closer but still lasts all day. Highly recommend if you like dark sweet perfumes.
Honestly 5/5 for me. L’Interdit Élixir feels bold but not loud in an annoying way. I get a gorgeous black cherry opening, then it melts into vanilla and this woody oak base that makes it feel expensive. It’s not Delina-pretty or BR540-airy, it’s more sultry and dark, which I love. Perfect for nights out, cold weather, or anytime I wanna smell kinda dangerous lol. Lasts forever on my skin and even longer on clothes.
