Tbh I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. Sauvage Extrait takes the familiar fresh-spicy DNA and makes it warmer, woodier, and way less aggressive. The cedarwood is super clean and classy, and the oud gives it a slight dark edge that makes it feel premium. It kinda reminds me of what a designer oud should be: wearable, not challenging, but still interesting. Projection is strong for the first few hours then sits closer, which I actually prefer. Easy 5 stars.
I love this one so much. It’s not the loud club Sauvage people make jokes about, it’s darker and way more refined. The vetiver gives it this dry, clean edge, and the oud adds depth without turning barnyard or weird. Honestly this feels like something you wear on a date or a nice night out when you want to smell confident. It lasts forever on my hoodie too. If you already like Sauvage but want the grown man version, this is it.
This is easily my favorite Sauvage. The Extrait feels way smoother and deeper than the EDT, less shouty and more expensive smelling. I get a dark cedarwood vibe right away, with this clean smoky oud in the background that never gets too funky. It still has that Sauvage DNA, but dressed in a black coat if that makes sense. Super masculine, super polished. Performance is great on me too, like 8+ hours and people notice it without it choking the room. 5/5 for me.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting a basic vanilla amber, but the maple syrup note makes it feel kinda special and addictive. It’s sweet, yes, but the amber gives it depth and the lavender adds this pretty airy touch. Not really like Delina or BR540, more of a cozy Burberry sweater vibe. I sprayed it before dinner and could still smell it on my scarf the next day. Def 5/5 for me, especially if you like sweet perfumes that still feel classy.

Lasts around 7-8 hours on me and people definitely notice it, but it’s not obnoxious. Super easy reach for fall and winter, but I’d wear it whenever tbh.

Compared to regular Sauvage, this is smoother and less sharp, which is a big plus for me. Lasts most of the day, projection is moderate after the first hour. I got a couple compliments wearing it, so it definitely works. Just wish it had a bit more character for an extrait.
Sauvage Extrait surprised me because I thought it would be too heavy, but it’s honestly pretty wearable. I get a lot of dry woods and vetiver, kinda clean but still masculine and a bit mysterious. The oud doesn’t take over, which I appreciate because some designer oud scents get weird fast. This one is safe enough for going out but still has that darker edge. I wouldn’t wear it in high heat, but fall/winter? Perfect. Minor flaw is that it can feel a little too polished, almost too perfect.
Cavort feels fancy in a very Fragrance Du Bois way. The cinnamon gives it this cozy spicy kick, but the incense makes it darker and more interesting than a basic sweet amber. I love that it doesn’t go full gourmand, because that would’ve made it too much for me. It’s smooth, polished, and a little mysterious. That said, it’s not super versatile imo. I’d save this for nights out or colder weather, not an office scent unless you spray lightly. Performance is really nice, and the drydown is the best part.
This is one of those perfumes that smells better the longer it’s on skin. The first spray is spicy and a bit medicinal from the saffron, which I didn’t love at first, but give it 20 minutes and the patchouli and sandalwood come through so nicely. It becomes warm, woody, slightly sweet, and kinda addictive. I wouldn’t call it a compliment monster, more like something you wear for yourself or close-up situations. Lasting power is good, projection is moderate. Not perfect, but I keep wanting to smell my wrist.

The sandalwood smooths it out fast and makes it feel expensive. Kinda gives me dressed-up evening vibes, like black shirt, nice dinner, low lighting. My only issue is the opening can feel a bit sharp for the first 10 minutes, almost too much spice, but then it settles beautifully. Performance is solid on me, around 7 hours with decent projection. Def one of the better Fragrance Du Bois ones I’ve tried.
