Tbh this is exactly what I want when I’m tired of sweet fruity florals. The mandarin and lemon are so uplifting, and that salty aquatic touch makes it feel like actual skin after a day near the ocean instead of generic blue perfume. There’s also a soft ambrette thing in the background that keeps it cozy and natural. I wouldn’t compare it directly to anything like Delina or BR540 because it’s doing its own thing, which I appreciate. Super wearable, super refreshing, and somehow still interesting. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me, which is great for this style. I’d happily wear this all summer and into spring.
This is one of those perfumes I keep sniffing my wrist for. The bergamot pops first on me, then I get that sea water note and a smooth sandalwood drydown that makes everything feel really seamless. It’s fresh, yeah, but not boring-fresh. There’s something a little chic and addictive about it, like a crisp white shirt but with personality. I can wear this to work, out to lunch, basically anywhere, and it never feels wrong. Also gets compliments, which surprised me because it’s not loud in an obnoxious way. Just very put together. If you like elegant citrusy scents with a salty twist, def try this.
I’m obsessed with this one tbh. A lot of woody/spicy perfumes go too dark or too dense on me, but Desert Rosewood stays refined the whole way through. I get mandarin up top, then cardamom, then this creamy dry woodiness that feels really natural. It kinda reminds me of the polished vibe of something like Portrait of a Lady’s fancy energy, minus the drama and rose overload. Just really wearable luxury. I’ve worn it during the day and at night and it never felt out of place. Lasts around 6-7 hours on my skin, longer on clothes. Not loud in an annoying way, just enough to get noticed.
This is hands down my favorite from Goldfield & Banks. It smells warm and spicy but also weirdly fresh at the same time, probably from that mandarin/cardamom combo. The wood in here is beautiful. Smooth, slightly dry, no harsh pencil shavings thing that some rosewood scents can do. I love this because it feels unique without being difficult. You don’t have to be in a super specific mood for it. I’ve gotten a few compliments wearing this and one friend said I smelled like a very expensive hotel lobby, which honestly fits. Projection is strong for the first hour or two, then it sits a bit closer. Still lasts most of the day.

Minor flaw: it doesn’t change a ton after the opening, so if you want a super dramatic journey, this might feel a bit linear. Still smells great though, and I got around 7 hours easy.

If you want a tropical fruit bomb, this is not that. Rosa Limone feels more like standing near the sea with a grapefruit soda in your hand.
