This is one of those scents that doesn’t scream for attention but still gets compliments. I get a clean musky talc vibe first, then the vanilla and woods start wrapping around it and it becomes really cozy and kinda sexy in a low-key way. Not sugary, not heavy, just smooth and beautifully blended. If you like fragrances that sit somewhere between elegant and comforting, this is so worth trying. It feels niche but easy. I’ve worn it to work and on a dinner date and it totally fit both moods. Lasting power is better than I expected too, around 8 hours on skin. Honestly a gem.
Tbh I’m usually picky with powdery perfumes because they can go old-school super fast, but this is gorgeous. The talc note is obvious, yes, but the tonka and amber make it creamy and warm instead of dusty. It kinda reminds me of the soft, fluffy side of Narciso perfumes, but less sharp and more addictive. I keep wanting to smell my wrist. Jasmine peeks through just enough to make it feel polished without turning floral-heavy. On me it projects really nicely for the first couple hours, then sits closer and lasts around 6-7 hours. Super wearable, super comforting, and still feels special.
I love this stuff. Talco really does smell like soft powder, but not in a baby wipe way at all. It opens a little bright from the bergamot, then turns into this super smooth musk/vanilla cloud that just feels expensive and comforting. Kinda gives me that fresh-out-the-shower clean skin vibe, but dressed up with a nice sweater and jewelry. The rose is there on me too, but very soft, just enough to keep it from being boring. Performance is great for this kind of scent too, easily 7-8 hours and I kept catching it on my clothes the next day. Def one of the prettiest powdery scents I’ve tried.
This is easily 5 stars for me. The nutmeg and leather combo in the heart is so smooth and sexy, but not in a heavy winter-only way. It has warmth, sure, but there's still enough freshness up top to keep it versatile. Kinda reminds me of some niche woody-spicy scents, but this feels more relaxed and wearable than a lot of them. The benzoin in the drydown gives it this soft resinous glow that I really love. Nothing screechy, nothing harsh. Just super well blended. I wore it out to dinner and got two compliments, which almost never happens to me lol. Great for cooler nights, but honestly I'd wear it year-round.

Tbh this surprised me. I expected something louder and more rugged from the name, but Island Lush is actually really classy and easy to wear. The ginger pops early, then I get vetiver and sandalwood more than anything, with a soft patchouli base that keeps it grounded. It gives me that clean-but-warm vibe some people chase with Terre d'Hermes style fragrances, but this is creamier and less sharp. Super natural smelling too. I think that's what sold me most. It smells expensive without being showy. Performance is very good on my skin, around 6-7 hours, and it sits just right after the opening. Honestly hard to find a flaw here.

If you want a tropical fruit bomb, this is not that. Rosa Limone feels more like standing near the sea with a grapefruit soda in your hand.
