This is so good. I was expecting a rough, smoky leather bomb, but New Leather feels way smoother and more polished on my skin. The saffron pops early, then that soft suede thing starts coming through and it just melts into the woods. It gives me that expensive jacket vibe without smelling too harsh or too "trying too hard." I love leather scents but a lot of them get too animalic or dusty on me. This one stays classy the whole way. Performance is great too, easy 8+ hours and I kept catching it on my sleeve. Def a 5/5 for me and one of the easiest leather fragrances to actually wear often.
Def one of the best leather releases I’ve tried in a while. What makes it special to me is that it doesn’t go full macho or overly smoky. The bergamot keeps the top fresh for a minute, then the nutmeg and suede take over and it turns super smooth and addictive. There’s a dry earthy backbone from the vetiver that keeps it from feeling too soft. Really smart composition. I can wear this dressed up, but honestly I’d wear it with a tee and boots too. Very versatile for a leather scent, which is rare. Strong quality, excellent longevity, and just smells expensive. Love this stuff.
This smells like confidence, plain and simple. From the first spray I get saffron and a slightly dry woody vibe, then the suede comes in and makes everything feel smooth and expensive. It’s not sweet, not smoky, not dirty. Just really refined leather with depth. I own a lot of leather scents and this one instantly jumped near the top because it feels modern and wearable without losing character. Kinda niche but still easy to enjoy. My partner kept leaning in closer when I wore it, so yeah, compliment getter for sure. Lasted around 9 hours on me with solid projection. Absolutely worth checking out if you love elegant darker scents.
This is gorgeous tbh. Right away I get bergamot with a little pink pepper sparkle, but it doesn’t stay fresh for long. Pretty quickly it turns into this warm, spicy suede with a touch of cinnamon that feels really sexy without trying too hard. What I love most is how balanced it is. It’s rich, but not loud or messy. Some leather scents go full biker jacket; this feels more like a tailored coat. I’ve worn it out at night and got compliments every time. Performance is really good too, around 7-8 hours on me. Easy 5 stars, and I don’t say that often.
Love this, even with a couple flaws. The pink pepper and nutmeg make the opening feel alive, then the suede comes in and gives it that smooth modern leather vibe. It’s more refined than rugged, which I appreciate. Not animalic, not smoky, not trying too hard. Just a clean spicy leather that smells expensive. I can totally see this working for dinners, office, whatever. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is projection. It’s not weak, but it sits closer to the skin after 2-3 hours and I wanted a little more presence. Still got about 6 hours total though, so I’m happy.
Tbh I’m picky with leather perfumes because so many go synthetic or screechy, but this is beautiful. The cinnamon and nutmeg give it a cozy warmth, and then the suede keeps everything soft and addictive. There’s also this earthy touch underneath, probably the patchouli or cypriol, that makes it feel more niche and less basic. What I really love is how balanced it is. It’s bold, but never overwhelming. I wore this out to dinner and kept getting little wafts of it all night, which is always a good sign. Definitely feels high quality and very well blended. Easy 5 stars from me.
I really like this one. The opening has that bright bergamot pop for like 5 minutes, then it goes straight into a spicy suede thing with saffron and pink pepper that feels super polished. It’s not a rough biker-jacket leather, more like soft expensive gloves. That’s why I think the name fits, even if I wish it had just a little more bite. The drydown gets woody and slightly earthy, which keeps it interesting. Lasted around 7 hours on me with solid projection for the first 2. Very good scent, just not full 5 stars because it plays a bit safer than I wanted.
This is decent, but I’m not really wowed by it. The opening has a nice little kick from ginger and pink pepper, then it settles into a smooth sandalwood/leather thing that smells clean and slightly dry. It’s pleasant, easy to wear, and kinda polished, but I kept waiting for a moment that never came. Nothing smells bad here, it just feels a bit generic for the price. Performance is fine on me, around 5-6 hours, with pretty soft projection after the first hour. I’d wear it to work or on a casual day out, but I wouldn’t pick this over other woody-spicy scents I already own.
Tbh this is perfectly fine, but I’m not running to buy a bottle. The opening has that bergamot sparkle with a dusting of nutmeg, and then the leather comes in more suede-like than dark or rugged. I like that it doesn’t go full ashtray or heavy biker jacket, but it also never gets that addictive edge. Kinda reminds me of those modern niche leathers that try to be elegant first and memorable second. Patchouli in the base gives it a little texture, though it still feels pretty generic by the drydown. Lasts okay on skin, not beast mode at all. Decent for cooler weather, just not my thing enough to rave about.
I love this one more every time I wear it. The opening has that bergamot sparkle with pink pepper, but it’s brief and then the fragrance gets warmer, darker, and way more interesting. The suede is the star for me. Not raw leather, not smoky biker jacket leather, more like luxury suede gloves with a little spice still hanging around. Kinda reminds me of the polished side of Tuscan Leather, but less aggressive and easier to wear. It smells rich without being loud for no reason. Lasts all day on me and the projection is strong for the first few hours. Super sexy fragrance honestly.
I love this. New Leather actually smells like expensive suede instead of that harsh, rubbery leather thing a lot of brands do. The saffron in the opening gives it a soft glow, then the suede and patchouli take over and it gets super smooth and classy. Kinda reminds me of Tuscan Leather’s polished cousin, but way easier to wear. It has depth without feeling heavy or dusty. On my skin it lasted a solid 8+ hours with really nice projection for the first few. Def one of those scents that makes you keep sniffing your wrist. If you like leather but want something refined and modern, this is so worth trying.
This smells classy in a very understated way. I get saffron up top, then a dry woody leather with vetiver that makes it feel tailored and kinda serious. If Delina is dressed up in pink, this is dressed up in brown suede. Super nice for cooler weather and evenings, and it has that niche vibe without being impossible to wear. My only issue is the dryness. On my skin the nagarmotha/vetiver combo leans a little too dusty after a while, so I miss a bit more softness in the base. Still, performance is legit and the overall scent is really well done.
New Leather surprised me in the best way. I expected something dark and super aggressive, but it’s actually really smooth and wearable. The nutmeg and saffron give it this warm, slightly exotic vibe, and then the vetiver underneath keeps it from getting too sweet or flat. It feels modern, clean, and still has real personality. Honestly, a lot of newer leather releases smell samey to me, but this one stands out. It has that upscale niche feel without being impossible to pull off. Projection is strong for the first couple hours, then it sits closer but keeps going. I’d wear this dressed up or just casually in cooler weather.
Tbh this surprised me. I usually get tired of leather fragrances fast, but this is way easier to wear. The suede note is smooth, the cinnamon gives it a cozy kick, and the patchouli in the base stops it from becoming too clean or boring. It kinda reminds me of those modern niche leathers that want to be sexy without yelling about it. Not as loud as Ombre Leather, and that’s honestly a plus for me. I love how wearable it is. Minor complaint: the middle gets a touch synthetic on skin if I spray too much. Still def a really good one.
Island Lush is one of those fragrances where I go "yeah, that’s nice" and then totally forget about it. I get bergamot up top, then some patchouli and benzoin in the drydown, which gives it a warm slightly resinous vibe. It’s smooth and wearable, def not offensive, but it never really stands out. Tbh it reminds me of a toned-down designer woody scent trying to feel niche. I do like that it’s balanced and not too heavy, especially for everyday wear, but for a 3/5 this fits perfectly: solid, nothing special. Lasted about 6 hours on my skin and stayed pretty close after a while.
Talco is nice, just not that exciting to me. The opening has a soft bergamot lift, then it turns into this powdery musk cloud with a touch of vanilla underneath. It definitely gives clean skin / fresh laundry vibes, which I can see a lot of people liking, especially for work. My issue is that it feels a bit generic after the first 20 minutes. Not bad at all, just kinda forgettable for the price. Performance is decent on me, around 5-6 hours, but projection stays pretty close. I’d wear it on an easy daytime run, but I’m not reaching for it over other musky powder scents I already own.
Kinda disappointed with this one tbh. I was hoping for a smooth suede scent, but on my skin the saffron and cypriol go really dry and scratchy, almost smoky in a harsh way. There’s a little cinnamon in the opening, but it doesn’t make it cozy, just spicier and louder. The leather vibe never feels luxe to me, more like a new car interior sprayed with spice. It also projects pretty hard for the first couple hours, which is not great when I’m actively not enjoying it. I get the idea, but it feels rough around the edges and way less refined than I expected.
This is nice, just not wow. I get a little saffron up top with some pink pepper, then it settles into a soft suede/woody thing that smells clean and polished. It’s easy to wear and def not as loud or sweet as a lot of modern leather scents, which I appreciate. That said, it also feels a bit too safe for something called New Leather. I kept waiting for a cooler twist or more depth, but it stayed pretty linear on me. Performance is decent, around 6 hours, with moderate projection for the first hour or two. Good scent, just not one I’d reach for over my actual favorites.
I wanted to like this way more than I did. The opening has a nice little kick from the ginger and pink pepper, but it goes sideways pretty fast on my skin. Once the leather and patchouli show up, it turns kinda muddy and weirdly stale, like a fancy scent that forgot what it wanted to be. Not lush, not tropical, not really comforting either. It also sits pretty close after the first hour, so for the price I expected a lot more presence. Tbh this feels niche just for the sake of being niche. Not awful, but definitely below expectations and not something I’d reach for again.
I really wanted to like this because the idea sounds cozy, but on my skin Talco is just too much powder and not enough beauty. The talc note is super loud right away, then I get a soft vanilla underneath, but it never turns creamy or comforting. There’s also a rose/jasmine thing in the middle that feels kinda blurry and synthetic to me. Tbh it reminds me of those scented body powders more than an actual perfume. Performance is decent, like 5-6 hours, but it stays pretty close to the skin after the first hour. Not horrible, just disappointing and a bit old-fashioned in a way that doesn’t work for me.
