First wear and I was sold. Opus XVI Timber has this beautiful woody-resinous feel that comes off really refined, with cedar up top and a creamy ambery base that just melts into the skin. I kept waiting for some rough or overly smoky turn, but nope — it stays smooth and elegant the whole time. That’s what makes it so good to me. It has presence, but it’s never obnoxious. I’d say 6-8 hours on skin, longer on fabric, which is more than enough for something this polished. Super wearable, super high quality, and honestly just comforting in a very expensive way. Highly recommend.
Love this one. On me it opens with a crisp resinous sparkle, then settles into sandalwood and amber with a faint smoky edge. It’s rich but never heavy, which is why I think it works better than a lot of “serious” woody fragrances. Some niche woods can feel too dry or stern. This one has warmth and actual personality. What really sold me is how natural it smells. Nothing plasticky, nothing overly sweet, just smooth blended materials that keep getting better as it dries down. I’ve worn it in cooler weather and at night and it absolutely shines there. Great longevity too, around 8 hours easy. Highly recommended if you like elegant woods.
I liked the original, but the extrait is the one I’d actually buy. It feels richer, softer, and more finished. I get pink pepper in the top, then this juicy lychee/rose combo that feels bright but not teenage-sweet. There’s something creamy in the base too that makes it cling to skin beautifully. This is sexy in a polished way, not a loud club scent. More fancy brunch to date night. What I love most is that it smells modern without doing that sugary BR540 thing. It has presence, but it’s still refined. Lasts around 8 hours on me with very good projection for the first half. Really, really good if you want a floral-fruity that feels elevated.
I’m really into this. It smells like dry cedar, smoky incense, and a touch of spice, but done in a very sleek, modern way. Not old-school dusty at all. It actually kinda reminds me of the feeling of Interlude toned way down and dressed up for a nice dinner. Super classy. This is the kind of scent that makes you stand a little straighter. Warm, woody, a little mysterious, and honestly very sexy without trying too hard. Performance is excellent too, easily 9 hours on my skin. Not cheap, obviously, but this smells like quality and feels worth wearing when you want something special.
Lust in Paradise Extrait is one of those perfumes I enjoy every time I wear it, even if I’m not fully obsessed. The rose-peony combo is smooth and modern, and the musk in the drydown keeps it clean and slightly sexy. It feels dressed up but still casual enough for daytime. I can see this working really well for spring weddings or dinner out. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars for me is that it plays things a little too safe. It’s beautiful, but I wanted one twist, one weird little edge. Still lasts well on me though, like 7 hours easy, and the quality feels high.
Tbh I’m usually underwhelmed by a lot of luxury fruity florals because they smell cute for 20 minutes and then disappear. This one actually delivers. I get a bright pink pepper pop at first, then peony and a juicy lychee note that feels fresh, slightly sweet, and really addictive. It has that clean, radiant vibe but with enough depth to feel like an extrait. Kinda airy, kinda sensual. I’d wear this to the office, on a date, or just when I want to smell pretty with zero effort. It’s not trying to be edgy, just insanely wearable and well made. On me it lasts most of the day and leaves a soft trail. Def highly recommended.

It’s pleasant, no question, and super easy to wear without offending anyone, but it never really takes off. Kinda feels like a watered-down designer floral with a cute sugary twist. Projection is moderate for the first hour, then it chills out fast. I don’t hate it, but for the price I need more character. If you want an uncomplicated sweet rose for everyday use, sure. If you want something that really turns heads, this probably isn’t it.
