Wonderwood is one of those fragrances that feels cozy without being cuddly or sweet. The sandalwood is creamy-ish, but the pepper and patchouli keep it kinda dry and sharp. I love that it smells natural and mature, not like a generic “men’s woody cologne.” It’s definitely more about texture than compliments, if that makes sense. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people close to you will notice it. I’d give it 4 stars because it’s beautiful, but sometimes I wish it had a little more warmth or depth in the drydown.
I really like Wonderwood, especially when I’m in the mood for something dry and kinda serious. It opens with this spicy nutmeg/pepper thing, then quickly turns into a smooth pile of sandalwood and guaiac wood. Not sweet at all, which I appreciate. It feels like walking into a fancy wooden furniture shop, but in a wearable way lol. My only issue is it can get a little flat after a few hours, like it doesn’t change much. Still, super classy and easy to wear if you like woody scents. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me.
Amazingreen is one of those scents I didn’t love immediately, but it grew on me fast. The green bell pepper note is sharp at first, almost like chopping vegetables, but then the white musk smooths it out and the vetiver makes it clean and dry. It’s fresh but not sporty, green but not earthy hippie oil. Minor flaw: the opening might put people off if they’re used to stuff like Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage. But if you want something different for warm weather, this is def worth trying.
I love how odd Amazingreen is. It opens with this crisp green bell pepper thing that sounds scary but actually feels super fresh and cool, like walking into a greenhouse after rain. Then the smoke/gunpowder bit gives it that classic Comme des Garçons weirdness without going full ashtray. My only issue is it can feel a little thin after a few hours, kinda like it loses its shape. Still, really unique and easy to wear if you like green scents that aren’t just grassy shampoo vibes.
Really nice scent if you’re tired of sugary perfumes. This is dry, airy, and a little metallic from the aldehydes, with cedar and incense giving it backbone. I’d wear this to work or on a rainy day, it has that calm serious mood without being boring. It doesn’t scream for attention but people near you will notice it. My only complaint is that the opening can feel a bit sharp for the first few minutes. After that it’s gorgeous.
CdG 2 is strange but not difficult, if that makes sense. The mate note gives it this dry green bitterness, and the amber keeps it from going too cold. I was expecting something harsh and industrial, but it’s actually pretty smooth. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of Encre Noire if it got dressed up and drank tea instead of lurking in a forest. Performance is decent, not beast mode. 4 stars because I love the personality, but I don’t reach for it every day.
First spray and I was sold. This has that PDM smoothness where everything feels blended and expensive, but still super wearable. The cardamom is my favorite part, kinda creamy and spicy, and the ambroxan gives it this glowing trail that people notice without it screaming. It reminds me a tiny bit of Angels' Share in the cozy spicy sweetness, but cleaner and more refined. I’d wear this on dates, nights out, or honestly just when I wanna smell unreal. Easy 5 stars for me.
This is honestly gorgeous. I get a warm cardamom and cinnamon thing right away, but it never turns into basic candle spice. The praline comes in smooth and creamy, almost like a fancy dessert in a cashmere sweater lol. It feels richer and more grown than the regular Althaïr to me, less sweet vanilla bomb and more spicy-gourmand luxury. Performance is great too, like 8+ hours on my skin with a nice scent bubble. Def a cold weather killer and easily one of the best PDM releases for me.
Yeah, this is gorgeous. The opening has a little bergamot brightness, then the cardamom comes in and makes everything warm and spicy. After that it settles into this musky sweet base that smells clean, rich, and kinda seductive. I don’t find it loud in an annoying way, just present and confident. Compared to a lot of sweet designer stuff, this feels much more expensive and blended. It’s pricey obviously, but tbh I’d rather own this than five average bottles.
Really cool fragrance. The palm/green accord gives this humid jungle vibe, then there’s this dry smoke in the background that keeps it from being too pretty or basic. It’s not “sexy” in the usual sweet amber way, but it has confidence. I wore it to work and got one “you smell interesting” comment, which honestly fits it perfectly. It sits pretty close after the first hour, so don’t expect beast mode. Still a 4/5 for me because it’s creative and actually wearable.
This is such a CdG scent lol. Amazingreen smells fresh, but not in a blue shower gel way. I get vetiver, green pepper, and a smoky mineral edge that makes it feel almost futuristic. It reminds me a tiny bit of a cleaner, greener cousin to some of their incense stuff, but way more wearable. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, with moderate projection. I do wish the hazelnut came through more because that could’ve made it warmer and more rounded.
This is one of those perfumes that makes me feel instantly cooler lol. I get mandarin for like 10 minutes, then it turns into crisp aldehydes with a smooth incense underneath. Not churchy incense, more like paper, tea, and smoke in a minimalist gallery. It’s very unisex and easy to wear, but def not a crowd-pleasing sweet scent. I wish it projected a bit more because it becomes pretty close to skin on me. Still, really good and super classy.

No harsh oud, which is a plus, but also not much depth. Performance is decent, maybe 6 hours, mostly close to skin. Good for someone who wants a clean woody scent, but I wouldn’t call it a must-have.

Tbh I thought this would just be another sweet spicy designer-ish thing with a PDM price tag, but nope, it’s stunning. The bergamot in the opening gives it a quick bright lift before the saffron and praline take over. It’s rich but not heavy in a headache way, which is hard to pull off. I also love that it smells unisex to me, maybe slightly masculine leaning, but anyone confident could wear it. Lasted all day on my hoodie. Expensive, yes, but this one actually feels worth it.
Althaïr Exclusif smells like wrapping yourself in a ridiculously expensive blanket while eating caramelized nuts by a fireplace. That sounds dramatic but it’s accurate lol. The guaiac wood keeps the praline from getting too sugary, and the musk makes it super smooth. I was expecting something louder and more obnoxious, but it’s actually really balanced. Sweet, warm, a little smoky, and very polished. This is absolutely a fall/winter signature scent if you like gourmands but want them to smell classy.
I wore this out to dinner and got asked what I was wearing twice, so yeah… it works. The saffron gives it that slightly expensive, almost BR540-ish glow, but the praline makes it warmer and more addictive. Not as airy as BR540 though, this feels denser and smoother. I love how it smells sweet without being childish. Projection is strong for the first few hours, then it settles into this sexy spicy skin scent that still lingers forever. 5/5, no hesitation.
If you usually avoid gourmands because they get too cupcake-y, try this. Althaïr Exclusif has that praline sweetness, but the saffron and guaiac wood make it feel polished and grown up. It’s not just dessert, it’s dessert with a tailored coat on. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments before we even sat down. It projects well but doesn’t turn into a cloud of sugar. Super smooth, super addictive, and totally bottle worthy for me.
