This is not a cute little clean-girl scent, and that’s exactly why I love it. Overture 41 Woman is rich, dramatic, and super layered. I get a lot of labdanum and leather, with just enough vanilla to make it smooth instead of rough. It smells like confidence, money, and maybe a little trouble lol. The drydown is my favorite part because it turns deeper and warmer as the hours go by. Definitely expensive, but honestly it smells expensive too, so I’m not mad.
Tbh this smells like money, but in the best way lol. I mostly get leather and oud, with this warm balsamic sweetness underneath that keeps it from being too serious. It reminds me a tiny bit of the richness in some high-end Tom Ford ouds, but smoother and more refined. No harsh edges, no weird medicinal vibe. Just deep, dark, elegant. I wore it to dinner and kept smelling my scarf the next day. Easy 5/5 if you’re into bold scents.
This is one of those fragrances where you can smell the quality immediately. The cinnamon is warm but controlled, the patchouli gives it some depth, and the vanilla smooths everything out beautifully. Nothing feels harsh or messy. It’s rich, spicy, slightly sweet, and very dressed-up, but I’d still wear it casually because I just love the scent bubble. Projection is strong for the first few hours and it lasts forever on clothes. Easily one of my favorite modern Amouage releases.
I love this one way more than I expected. The vanilla here isn’t sweet cupcake vanilla, it’s more smooth and resinous, mixed with cedarwood and a little cinnamon warmth. It has that rich Amouage depth but feels more modern and easier to wear than some of their heavier stuff. Honestly smells like confidence without trying too hard. I wore it to dinner and kept catching little waves of it all night. Expensive, yeah, but it smells like it.
This is insanely good. Opens with that Amouage-style spicy brightness, mostly cardamom and pink pepper on my skin, then it gets smoother and darker with cedarwood. It feels expensive without screaming “look at me,” which I love. Kinda like a tailored black coat in fragrance form. Performance is excellent too, easily 8+ hours and it leaves a really nice trail. Def not a boring blue scent, but still super wearable if you like spicy woods. 5/5 for me.
Oud Velvet Mood is not a cozy vanilla oud type thing, so don’t blind buy expecting that. It’s more saffron, leather, and deep woody oud with a slightly resinous feel. I think it smells very elegant and almost formal, like something you wear when you want to seem put together and intimidating lol. The quality is obvious, no cheap synthetic screech. That said, I have to be in the mood because it can feel a little stiff and mature. Still, when it works, it really works.
This one is def a statement perfume. I get mostly frankincense, leather, and a boozy fruity thing that makes it feel really luxurious. It’s not pretty in a Delina way, more like mysterious and dramatic. I love that it doesn’t smell like everything else at the mall. That said, it can be a little too dense if I overspray, and one spray is honestly enough for me. Lasts forever on clothes. Very good, just needs the right mood and weather.

The leather is smooth, not biker jacket sharp, and the peach gives it a weird soft fruitiness that I really like. It’s dark, warm, and a little mysterious, like a fancy hotel lobby at night. I wouldn’t wear this to the office unless I sprayed super light, but for dinner or a night out it’s perfect. Lasts forever on clothes. The drydown gets a bit heavy on me, but still very good.
Overture 41 Woman smells like someone wearing a velvet dress in a fancy old hotel lobby lol. I really love the cinnamon and saffron here, it’s spicy without turning into candle territory. There’s also this leathery depth that makes it feel very Amouage. I wouldn’t wear this to brunch or the office, it’s too much for that imo. But for cold nights it’s beautiful. 4 stars because it’s stunning, just not something I’d reach for often.

It just rounds everything out. Lasts forever on me and feels very unisex. I wouldn’t wear it to the office, but for nights out? Absolutely perfect.

I wouldn’t wear this to the grocery store, but for dinner, cold weather, or any time I want to feel untouchable? Perfect. Lasting power is beast mode on my skin.

It’s not barnyard at all, more like a dark velvet jacket in a fancy hotel bar. Super elegant but still sexy. Performance is wild too, I get 10+ hours easy and it lingers on clothes forever. Def one of the best MFKs for me.
Tbh this smells like a niche designer fantasy version of a spicy woody scent. Pink pepper pops right away, then cardamom and labdanum make it warm, slightly smoky, and kinda addictive. It’s not loud in a tacky way, but people will notice it. I got two compliments the first time I wore it, which doesn’t happen often with heavier niche stuff. It feels mature but not old man at all. Super refined, super confident, totally full bottle worthy.
What makes Decision 42 Man so good to me is the balance. The bergamot and neroli give it this clean, fresh lift at the start, but then the spices come in and keep it from smelling like another generic freshie. It’s polished, masculine, and super put together. I could wear this to the office or out at night and it works either way. Lasting power is great on my skin, around 7-9 hours. Amouage really nailed the fresh-spicy thing here.
