This is like La Vie Est Belle went out for cocktails lol. I get a big cherry opening with pink pepper giving it a little sparkle, then the patchouli comes in and keeps it from being too candy-ish. It’s sweet for sure, but not childish. I do wish the cherry stayed brighter longer because after a few hours it turns more vanilla-woody on me. Still really nice though, and way more fun than the original LVEB in my opinion.
I’m picky with patchouli because it can go dusty or basement-y real fast, but this one is surprisingly smooth. It has that earthy patchouli core, but also something creamy and warm that keeps it wearable. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of a fancy hotel lobby, not in a generic way, more like rich and quiet. Projection is decent but not beast mode, which I actually prefer here. The only downside is the price, because it smells great but I’m not sure it’s full bottle urgent.
This one feels like wearing a black cashmere coat. Patchouli is definitely the star, but it’s not dirty or loud. I get a woody, slightly resinous vibe too, which makes it feel more niche and grown up. I really like it for cooler weather or nighttime, but I wouldn’t reach for it in summer. It has that Memo richness where everything feels blended and smooth. Minor complaint: it can be a little dense if I overspray, so 2 sprays is enough for me.

L’Eau Papier feels like a perfume for people who don’t want to smell perfumey. I get soft musk, a bit of mimosa sweetness, and some dry woody notes that make it feel almost pencil-shaving-ish in the nicest way. It’s calming, clean, and kinda intimate. Not sexy or dramatic, more like a white t-shirt and good skincare vibe. I’d give it 4/5 because it’s gorgeous, but the price feels a little much for something this subtle.

Tonka Bean is honestly one of the best Memo releases I’ve smelled. It’s warm, smooth, slightly sweet, and has that cozy vanilla-tonka cloud that just feels so good around you. I was worried it might be basic because tonka is everywhere, but this has depth and a really elegant finish. Not beast mode exactly, but it has a beautiful trail and lasts most of the day on me. It’s the kind of scent I’d wear when I want to smell put together without trying too hard.

It kinda reminds me of a quieter, more refined cousin to some of the big niche rose scents, but less dramatic than Delina. Lasts well on clothes and skin. Honestly 5/5, no notes.
