Sunset Hour Dark Peach is just happy perfume. Like, spray it and suddenly I’m in a cute dress with a drink in my hand somewhere warm. I mostly get mandarin, vanilla, and amber, with this fuzzy peachy vibe even though it’s not listed. It’s sweet but not sticky, and it has that Goldfield & Banks polished smoothness. My partner immediately said I smelled amazing, which almost never happens lol. Projection is noticeable but not obnoxious. I’d wear this all summer nights and honestly in winter too.
First spray and I was hooked. The pink pepper gives it this bright little kick, then the cinnamon and musk make it warm, smooth, and super addictive. It smells sensual without trying too hard, which I love. Some spicy perfumes get scratchy on me, but this one stays creamy and soft the whole time. My boyfriend literally asked what I was wearing after like 20 minutes, so yeah, compliment getter for sure. It lasts most of the day but sits closer after a few hours. Honestly exceptional, I’d rebuy instantly.
Why does nobody talk about this one?? Musc Terrible is stunning. I get this peppery warm opening, then it settles into a soft musky vanilla that feels very smooth and expensive. It’s not overly sweet, not powdery grandma musk, not boring clean musk either. Just balanced. It reminds me a little of those “your skin but better” scents, except with more spice and personality. Performance is great on clothes and decent on skin. I’d wear this in fall, winter, date nights, honestly whenever I want to feel put together.
Musc Terrible is one of those perfumes that doesn’t scream, but it absolutely pulls people in. The cinnamon and vanilla combo is warm and addictive, but the musk keeps it smooth and sensual instead of bakery-sweet. I wore this on a cold night out and kept catching little whiffs from my scarf, so good. It’s not beast mode like BR540 or anything, but I actually like that. It feels more personal and classy. If you like cozy spicy scents that still feel clean, this is a 10/10.
I love the drydown on this. The opening is nice, kinda figgy and sweet, but the benzoin really takes over later and makes it smooth, warm, almost balsamic. Patchouli keeps it from turning too soft or boring. It reminds me a tiny bit of those niche amber scents that feel dressed up but still comfy. Projection is more intimate than I expected, so don’t expect a room filler. Honestly I wish it pushed a little more, but the scent itself is gorgeous. Very wearable if you like warm, slightly dark perfumes.
This smells expensive in that JPG dramatic way, but not loud like some of their stuff. I mostly get benzoin and fig, soft and sweet but with a darker patchouli base. It’s not a sugar bomb at all, more like a cozy amber with a fruity edge. I’d wear this to dinner or on a chilly night. Ambre Tatouage is one of those perfumes I enjoy, but I totally get why someone might not. The fig here is not fresh and green, it’s more dense and syrupy, mixed with benzoin and a slightly earthy patchouli. There’s also this mysterious “what is that?” thing in the middle that makes it feel unique, but sometimes a bit strange. Still, I keep sniffing my wrist. Performance is good, not beast mode but solid. I’d give it a 4 because it’s interesting and wearable, just not an easy blind buy.
