Future Memories smells like a memory of a perfume, in the best way. I get creamy liqueur and musk mostly, with this soft aldehydic shimmer on top. It’s cozy but not heavy, sweet but not sticky. Kinda reminds me of those clean musky scents like Glossier You or Another 13, but smoother and more dressed up. There’s something slightly boozy and plush that makes it feel expensive. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments, which honestly surprised me because it feels pretty intimate.

This is gorgeous. The galbanum gives it this crisp green bite at the start, and then it melts into creamy vanilla without going cupcake or basic. That balance is what makes it special imo. It’s fresh, musky, a little sweet, and kinda abstract in the typical Byredo way, but this one actually has depth. I kept smelling my wrist all day. Projection isn’t beast mode, but it’s elegant and lasts a solid 6-8 hours. If you wanted something clean but not boring, try this.
I love this way more than I expected. It opens super sparkly with aldehydes, but not in an old-school powdery way… more like clean skin in expensive lighting lol. Then the blackcurrant comes through and gives it this juicy, slightly tart edge that keeps it from being too polite. The musk is so smooth and airy. It feels futuristic but still wearable, like Byredo actually did something interesting again. Lasts around 7 hours on me with a soft but noticeable trail. Def a 5/5 if you like clean scents with personality.
If you like rose-oud style perfumes but want something less heavy than the usual oud bombs, this is perfect. I mostly get smooth oud, soft leather, and a little patchouli warmth underneath. It feels rich but not suffocating, which is hard to pull off with notes like this. My partner immediately noticed it and said it smelled “fancy but sexy,” so yeah, compliment getter for sure. It’s pricey, obviously, but this one actually feels worth it to me.
This smells so classy. Like not sweet-girly, not fresh-clean, but warm, dark, and super put together. The leather and amber combo is my favorite part because it makes the oud feel round and wearable instead of sharp. I kept sniffing my wrist all day. It’s one of those scents that feels more special occasion than everyday, but honestly I’d wear it whenever I wanted to feel amazing. Lasting power is way better than most Jo Malone on me too.
Tbh this shocked me because I usually find Jo Malone a bit too soft for the price, but Rose & Oud Leather actually performs. The oud is deep and smooth, the amber is cozy, and the leather gives it this sexy edge without making it too masculine. It reminds me a little of those luxe Middle Eastern rose-oud scents, but cleaner and easier to wear. Not loud beast mode, but people will smell you. I’d absolutely wear this in fall or winter nonstop.
This is probably one of the best Jo Malone releases if you like darker perfumes. The leather is polished, not smoky biker-leather, and the oud is smooth enough that even non-oud people could enjoy it. I get a warm patchouli base too, but it’s not dirty or earthy in a bad way. It smells expensive and confident, like something you’d wear to dinner when you actually made an effort. Projection is solid without choking anyone out. Honestly gorgeous.

After 20 minutes it turns warm and resinous, with patchouli keeping it from becoming too smooth or boring. It’s def more elegant than playful, so I wouldn’t wear it to the gym or office every day. Great for fall nights or dressed-up situations. My small complaint is that it can feel a bit dry and serious, but overall it smells expensive and very well blended.
Yeah this smells like a private lounge with leather chairs, orange peel in an old fashioned, and someone smoking expensive tobacco. I get mostly tobacco and akigalawood, with that slightly spicy-woody edge Tom Ford does a lot. It’s not as loud as Tobacco Vanille and definitely less sweet, which I actually love. Feels smoother and easier to wear, especially at night. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people near you will notice. Taking off one star because the drydown gets a little flat on my skin after a while.
This is very good, just not exactly what I pictured. I thought Tobacco Chocolat would be thick, syrupy, almost dessert-like, but it’s more dry tobacco and balsamic woods with a little orange brightness up top. Honestly I prefer that because it feels grown up and not cloying. The Peru balsam gives it this soft resinous warmth that makes it feel expensive. It sits closer after a few hours but lasts on clothes forever. Not a blind buy imo, because if you want gourmand chocolate you might be disappointed.

Performance is solid too, around 7 hours with decent projection for the first couple. My only issue is I wish it had a little more richness or actual cocoa sweetness.
