No. 1 Feminine is really pretty, but it’s not a fun flirty perfume to me. It’s more classy, mature, and a bit reserved. The pineapple and apricot give it a soft juicy start, then the amber makes everything warm and smooth. I love how blended it is, nothing screeches or feels cheap. That said, it can feel a tiny bit too formal for everyday wear, like I need to dress up for it. Lasting power is solid on me, around 7 hours, mostly moderate projection.
Really solid release from Valentino. I was expecting something super sweet, but this leans fresher and greener, which was a nice surprise. The bergamot is the star for me, very clean and sparkling, while the vetiver adds a dry masculine finish. It’s not unique enough to blow my mind, and if you already own a bunch of blue/fresh designer scents you might not need it. But it smells high quality and gets the job done. Lasts about 6 hours on my skin, maybe more on clothes.
This is one of those scents that just smells good without trying too hard. I get a crisp bergamot opening, then it turns smoother and greener with the vetiver. It’s not as sweet or loud as some of the Born in Roma stuff, which I actually appreciate. Kinda reminds me of a clean designer freshie but with better style. My girlfriend liked it immediately, so there’s that lol. I wish it had a little more depth, but for casual dates or daytime wear it works really well.
This smells like a grown woman who has her life together, lol. Not in a heavy vintage way, more like clean, graceful, and very put-together. I mostly pick up cyclamen, rose, and a bit of sandalwood in the drydown. The floral side is soft but not sweet, and the woody base gives it just enough depth. I wouldn’t wear this for a night out because it’s not really flirty to me, but for work or warm weather it’s honestly great. Could be too sharp if oversprayed, so go easy.
I usually struggle with aquatic perfumes because they turn weird and screechy on me, but L’Eau d’Issey works surprisingly well. The rose water and lotus are delicate, and there’s a soft musk underneath that keeps it from being too watery. It kinda reminds me of walking past a florist after rain, not a beachy aquatic at all. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people do notice it if they’re close. Minor complaint: the opening is a little synthetic, tbh. Still, it settles beautifully and smells super polished.
This is comfort perfume but make it aristocratic lol. The cream and sandalwood combo is ridiculously smooth, like a soft beige sweater and fresh sheets in a fancy hotel. It’s not sweet, not spicy, not overly woody… just perfectly balanced. I think the mysterious unknown note gives it a slightly quirky edge, so it doesn’t feel generic. Super easy to wear but still special enough for nice occasions. Absolutely bottle-worthy for me.

I love this way more than I expected. It’s basically creamy sandalwood done in the most polished Penhaligon’s way, soft but still super present. Not dessert sweet, more like smooth cashmere with a fancy body cream vibe. There’s this weird “unknown” note that gives it a little mystery, like it’s not just another woody scent. Lasted around 7 hours on me and people could smell it when they came close. Honestly gorgeous and very wearable.
This smells expensive from the first spray, no surprise there. I get a bright lemony opening with peach underneath, then it turns into this creamy sandalwood/vanilla thing that feels super polished. It’s fruity but not childish at all, more like a silk blouse and good jewelry type of scent. My only issue is the price is honestly wild for what it is, and I wish the projection was a little louder. Still, I really enjoy wearing it when I want to feel put together.
Green Stravaganza is def a safe blind reach for me. The bergamot is bright but not screechy, and the vetiver gives it that clean grassy edge without going old-school. It feels modern and easy, like something you can wear to work, brunch, or just running around. Not beast mode at all, but it hangs around nicely and doesn’t choke anyone out. I do think the name makes it sound more wild than it actually is. It’s more “nice guy in a good outfit” than extravagant, but I still really enjoy it.

I get melon and freesia the most, with that watery Issey vibe everyone talks about. It’s fresh without smelling like laundry detergent, which I appreciate. Definitely not sexy or cozy, more like clean white shirt, rainy morning, minimal makeup energy. I knocked off a point because it can feel a little cold and distant, not super cuddly. But for daytime? Love it. Very easy to wear.
I totally get why this is a classic. It has that super clean, watery floral thing going on, like fresh lotus and rose water on cool skin. Very 90s but in a good way, not dated to me. It feels crisp, airy, and kinda calming, perfect when I don’t want to smell too sweet or loud. My only tiny issue is the calone can come off a bit sharp in the opening, almost metallic for 10 minutes. After that it smooths out nicely. Lasts around 6 hours on me with soft projection.

The Manoeuvres of the Baroness is one of those scents I keep sniffing on my wrist like a weirdo. It’s creamy, woody, and kinda mysterious in the best way. I mostly get sandalwood and this smooth creaminess, but there’s something slightly odd in there that makes it feel very Penhaligon’s. Not a loud perfume, more intimate and seductive. Perfect date night scent if you don’t want to smell like everyone wearing Delina or BR540.

I wouldn’t call it an everyday dumb reach because it has presence, but when I want to smell amazing, this is it. Compared to a lot of designer leather scents, Mister Sam feels deeper and more luxurious. Lasting power is excellent on me, and it leaves a really nice trail.
Okay this one surprised me. I expected a heavy leather bomb, but the plum makes it way more wearable and addictive. It has this spicy dark-fruit vibe even though it’s not overly sweet. The patchouli sits in the background and gives it depth, almost smoky on my skin. Projection is pretty big for the first few hours, so go easy on sprays. My partner literally asked what I was wearing twice in one night. It’s expensive, yeah, but it feels special every single time.
