This is stunning tbh. I don’t usually go crazy for herbal scents, but the tarragon here is so smooth and green, almost sparkling. The oakmoss gives it that old-school backbone without smelling dusty or dated. Kinda reminds me of the confidence of classic chypres, but cleaner and more refined. It’s not a Delina/BR540 type crowd-pleaser, it’s more quiet luxury. Still, I got two compliments wearing it, which surprised me. Performance is great too, especially on clothes.
This was a nice surprise. I was expecting something heavier, but Diorama Dioriginals is airy, herbal, and mossy in a really refined way. The oakmoss is my favorite part because it gives the whole thing that classy old Dior feel. The tarragon keeps it from being boring and adds a slightly spicy green edge. It’s not a compliment magnet type scent, more personal and tasteful. I’d wear this to work or lunch, not really for a big night out. Longevity is good, projection stays pretty polite.
Diorama Dioriginals smells like someone wearing a crisp white shirt in a garden after rain. Very green, a bit sharp, and the tarragon is def noticeable to my nose. The oakmoss makes it feel expensive and polished, but also slightly serious. I wouldn’t call this sexy exactly, more like quietly confident. My only issue is there’s this unknown fuzzy note in the middle that goes a little weird on my skin for 20 minutes. After that it settles beautifully. 4/5 for me.
This is decent, but I don’t think I’d reach for it often. I get a pretty herbal tarragon thing right away, almost like a dry green kitchen herb vibe, then the oakmoss makes it feel more classic and a little dusty. It has that old-school Dior feel, which I respect, but it’s not super exciting on my skin. Performance is okay, maybe 5-6 hours, but projection stays pretty polite. Nice if you like restrained green chypre-ish scents, but tbh I wanted a bit more personality.
This is one of those scents I keep sniffing on my wrist. Havana Tonka has that rich crème brûlée sweetness, but the patchouli underneath makes it deeper and more grown up. It doesn’t go full gourmand on me, more like a smoky-luxe dessert situation. Kinda reminds me of the cozy sweetness of Angels' Share but less loud and more polished. I’d wear this on dates, dinners, cold nights, honestly anytime I wanna smell expensive. Projection is moderate, longevity is really solid. Highly recommend if you like warm sweet scents with some edge.
Okay this is gorgeous. I was expecting something super heavy because of the rum and tonka, but Havana Tonka is actually smooth as hell. The crème brûlée note is the star for me — sweet, caramelized, a little burnt sugar vibe, but not childish or cupcake-y. The rum gives it this warm boozy glow without smelling like a bar. It feels expensive, cozy, and kinda sexy in a quiet way. Lasted around 8 hours on me with a nice soft trail. Def one of the best Byredos I’ve tried.
This is such a good cold weather scent. I was expecting something super sweet because of the crème brûlée note, but it’s actually more grown up and smooth. The rum is there, the tonka is cozy, and the patchouli gives it a darker edge that I really love. Kinda reminds me of those sexy amber-vanilla perfumes, but less obvious than something like Grand Soir. It feels expensive without screaming. Lasts all evening on my skin and projects nicely for the first few hours.
Okay this is gorgeous. Havana Tonka feels like sitting in a dim bar with a sweet rum cocktail and expensive skin musk. The tonka is creamy and warm, but the bergamot in the opening keeps it from going full syrup. I get a soft boozy crème brûlée vibe that dries down into something really elegant. Not loud beast mode, but it has way more presence than most Byredo perfumes on me. I kept smelling my wrist all day. Super addictive and honestly full bottle worthy.
As someone who gets tired of super sugary gourmands, I actually appreciate this. The bergamot in the opening keeps it from being too thick, then the crème brûlée comes in more like caramelized warmth than actual dessert. Tonka makes it soft and addictive. It’s the kind of scent I’d wear on a dinner date or just when I want to smell expensive but not loud. Minor flaw: the drydown is a bit musky and simple on me. Still, I kept sniffing my wrist, so that says enough.
I really like Havana Tonka, but I don’t think it’s a beast mode gourmand if that’s what you’re after. The pink pepper opening is bright and a little fizzy, then it melts into tonka and benzoin. It feels polished, like Byredo took a boozy dessert idea and made it minimalist. I love that it’s sweet but not sticky. That said, for the price I kinda wanted more depth and better projection. It stays pretty close after the first hour. Still very good, just not mind blowing.
I love this way more than I expected. The tarragon gives it this crisp herbal snap right away, but it’s not weird or kitchen-spice at all. Then the oakmoss comes in and makes everything feel super polished, like vintage Dior but still wearable today. It has that elegant, slightly mysterious vibe where you keep smelling your wrist. Not loud in a screechy way, but it definitely has presence and lasted around 8 hours on me. Honestly feels like something for someone with taste, not someone chasing trends.
I actually really like this, but it’s not an easy modern perfume. The tarragon gives it this herbal bite that makes it stand out from all the fruity florals around. Then the oakmoss comes in and makes it feel vintage, green, and slightly dry. Kinda reminds me of old-school chypres, but softer and more wearable. Performance is decent, not beast mode, more like an elegant bubble for a few hours. Minor flaw: it can feel a touch too dry if you overspray. Still really beautiful.
This is such a cool little oddball. I mostly get tarragon up top, like this herbal green snap that feels super chic and kinda vintage Dior without smelling dusty. The oakmoss gives it that classic perfume backbone, a little bitter and earthy in a good way. It’s not sweet or crowd-pleasing in the Delina/BR540 way at all, so don’t blind buy if you need sugar. Lasts around 6 hours on me, projection is moderate. I love it, just wish the opening stayed brighter longer.
I like this more in theory than in actual wear. The oakmoss is the best part for me, smooth and kinda classy, but the tarragon gives it this sharp herbal edge that I’m not always in the mood for. It smells well made, just a little flat after the opening. Not bad at all, just not something I’d call special or compliment-getting. Feels more like a quiet vintage-style scent for a specific mood. Lasts fine, but nothing beast mode. Solid 3 stars.
I wanted to like this because Dior usually does classy greens well, but Diorama Dioriginals just feels unfinished to me. The tarragon jumps out in this sharp, kitchen-herb way and never really settles into something pretty. I get a bit of oakmoss underneath, but it’s dry and dusty instead of elegant or vintage-chic. Kinda reminds me of an old sample that lost its top notes. Performance is also meh, like 3-4 hours and very close to skin. Not horrible, just really not something I’d reach for.
I love this so much. It’s sweet but not basic, warm but not suffocating. The tonka bean and benzoin combo is super creamy and comforting, like wearing a cashmere sweater at night. There’s a tiny sparkle in the opening from the pink pepper that keeps it from becoming too dense, which I really appreciate. Tbh Byredo can be hit or miss for performance, but this one actually sticks around on my skin. Not beast mode, just elegant and noticeable. Easy 5/5 for me.
This one is honestly stunning. It starts bright for like five minutes with bergamot, then turns into this soft rum and tonka cloud that feels cozy but still sexy. I’m not usually into gourmand scents because they can get too sugary, but Havana Tonka has that musky base that makes it feel wearable and clean-ish. Like dessert on warm skin, not dessert on a plate. Projection is moderate, which I actually like because it feels intimate. If you like smooth sweet scents with a little booze, try this asap.
Havana Tonka is delicious but in a very Byredo way, so it’s airy and polished instead of sticky. I get creamy tonka, burnt sugar from the crème brûlée, and a little spicy pink pepper right away. The rum note is smooth, not harsh or boozy in a frat party way lol. It’s sweet, warm, and kinda addictive. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments, which almost never happens with quieter fragrances on me. Easily 5/5, this feels special.
I love this way more than I expected. The rum and crème brûlée hit first and it’s sweet, but not cheap cupcake sweet. More like toasted sugar on skin, with that tonka making it super smooth and cozy. There’s a little pink pepper sparkle too so it doesn’t feel flat or too heavy. Honestly this is one of the best Byredos I’ve tried, and I usually find the brand kinda too polite. Performance is great on me, around 8 hours with a nice scent bubble. Def date night material.
This one surprised me. On my skin it’s all warm rum, creamy tonka, and a tiny bit of patchouli grounding it so it doesn’t go cupcake. It kinda reminds me of those cozy winter scents people wear with a nice coat, but less heavy than something like Angels’ Share. I love how smooth it is, no harsh edges at all. The downside is it’s maybe a little too safe for Byredo? Like beautiful, but I wanted one weird twist. Performance is decent, about 7 hours, soft trail.
