This one feels like Montblanc knew exactly what they were doing: fresh citrus, smooth woods, a bit of amber, and nothing weird. The bergamot opening is really pleasant and gets compliments in that “you smell clean” way. It kinda gives designer blue fragrance energy, not a clone of anything specific, but in the same easygoing lane as Dylan Blue or Explorer vibes. I love how wearable it is, especially in spring or early fall. Projection isn’t huge though, so don’t expect people across the room to notice. Still, very solid stuff.
MYSLF EDT Intense is really nice, but yeah, it plays it pretty safe. The bergamot opening is fresh and bright, then the white musk comes in and makes everything soft and clean. I love how smooth it is, no harsh alcohol blast or screechy synthetic mess. That said, after an hour it doesn’t change much, so if you like fragrances with a big journey this might feel kinda flat. Projection is decent for the first couple hours, then it sits closer. Still smells great though.
I like this way more than I expected. The bergamot is bright at first but it doesn’t stay super citrusy, it turns into this smooth white musk thing that feels clean without being boring. Very easy to wear, kinda “nice shirt, good haircut” energy. It’s not groundbreaking at all, but it smells expensive and put together. My only issue is the drydown gets a little safe after a few hours. Still, performance is solid on me, around 6-7 hours with moderate projection.
This feels like a softer, more wearable leather fragrance. Nothing harsh or smoky, just a smooth leather with bergamot up top and a creamy vanilla drydown. I love that it doesn’t go too sweet or too dark. It’s mature but not old-man mature, more like minimalist black sweater energy. Projection is kinda close after the first hour, so don’t expect compliments from across the room. Still, up close it smells really nice and refined.
I actually really like this one. It opens kinda bright with bergamot, then settles into this soft leather and vanilla thing that feels classy without being too dressed up. Not a loud “look at me” scent, more like you just smell naturally put together. My only issue is the cardamom fades pretty fast on me, and I wish that spicy part stuck around longer. Lasts around 6-7 hours, projection is moderate. Def a 4/5 for me.
Oboro feels like a signature scent for someone who doesn’t want to smell like everyone else. The ginger and pepper combo is so good here, spicy but clean, and the amber gives it this soft glow on skin. I love that it’s unisex without leaning too masculine or too sweet. It smells calm, expensive, and a little mysterious, like fresh air through a warm wooden room. Projection is not huge, but I actually like that. It stays elegant and personal. Easily one of my favorite Byredos.
Tbh I’m picky with Byredo because some of them vanish in 2 hours, but Oboro performs really nicely on me. The opening is all bergamot and black pepper, super lively and almost sparkling. Then it settles into this smooth amber-vetiver base that smells warm but still airy. It’s not sweet like BR540 and not floral like Delina, obviously, but it has that same “people will ask about this” polished vibe. Very wearable, very chic, and somehow interesting without being weird. I’m obsessed.
This one just makes me happy. The first spray is so crisp, like green apple and grapefruit with a minty breeze running through it. Super energetic, super clean, but not sterile. The drydown has enough vetiver to keep it adult and a little sexy, which I love. My only warning is that it’s pretty noticeable, so don’t overspray unless you want everyone asking what you’re wearing. On skin I get around 7 hours, longer on shirts. It feels modern, sharp, and honestly addictive. Full bottle worthy for sure.
Oboro is gorgeous. Not loud, not sweet, not trying too hard. I get ginger right away, almost fizzy, then this peppery vetiver that smells like clean skin after a very fancy shower. It kinda reminds me of those minimalist perfumes people wear in art galleries, but this one actually has personality. The amber underneath gives it just enough warmth so it doesn’t feel cold or sterile. Projection is moderate, but it lasts really well on clothes. Super elegant and easy to wear.
I thought this would just be another loud citrus-apple thing, but nope, it’s really well blended. The Sicilian bergamot is bright and sparkling, then the cedar comes in and makes it feel smooth and dressed up. There’s a green herbal freshness too, maybe from the vetiver, that keeps it from turning sweet. I could wear this with a white shirt, to dinner, to work, basically anywhere. It’s fresh but still has presence. Honestly one of the best Sora Dora scents I’ve tried, and I’d pick this over a lot of niche freshies.

I like Explorer Infinite more than I expected. It starts with a nice lemony citrus pop, but what saves it from being basic shower gel is the amber in the base. It gives it a little warmth and makes it feel more polished. The cedarwood is there too, kinda dry and clean, but not pencil shavings thankfully. I wouldn’t call it sexy beast mode or anything, but it’s definitely attractive in a low-key way. Lasts better on clothes than skin for me. Solid 4/5 because it smells great, just not super unique.
This is such a dumb reach fragrance in the best way. Spray it on and you just smell fresh, clean, and attractive. I mostly get white musk with a bit of bergamot sparkle in the opening, and then it smooths out fast.
