At first I thought this was just another citrus cologne, but it grew on me. The basil gives it this slightly green, peppery twist that makes it more interesting than plain lemon water. The vetiver is soft, not smoky or dirty, just a clean dry base. I do wish it had a bit more character in the drydown because after a while it turns into a nice white musk skin scent. Still, I love wearing it after a shower or on casual days. Not groundbreaking, just really well done.
If you’re coming here for a dark oud bomb, you might be disappointed. I barely get oud vibes, more like woody amber with leather and a citrusy top. But tbh I still enjoy it a lot. The clementine opening is bright and classy, then it dries down into this soft, slightly smoky leather thing that feels super wearable. It’s not as bold as something like Oud Satin Mood or other big oud scents, but it’s much easier to wear. Minor flaw: a little too polite for the price.
Cedro Virtuoso is nice in that polished Acqua di Parma way, but it doesn’t really wow me. I get a bright bergamot opening, then it turns into smooth cedar with a little musky/ambroxan thing underneath. The hazelnut sounds more interesting than it actually smells on my skin, sadly. It’s clean, easy to wear, and pretty office-safe, but also feels a bit too safe for the price. Performance is okay, maybe 5-6 hours, with soft projection after the first hour. Decent, just not something I’d rush to buy.
This is honestly nicer than I expected. I get honey, resin and a little tobacco, but it’s not heavy or sticky. More like a smooth golden warmth with citrus still peeking through. It kinda reminds me of those dressed-up evening scents that smell rich but not loud. Not beast mode, which I actually appreciate, but I do wish it projected a bit more after the first hour. Still, it smells very well blended and cozy in a refined way. Def a 4/5 for me.
Nerolia Vetiver is such an easy reach in summer. It has that sunny citrus opening, a bit bitter from the petitgrain, then the vetiver makes it feel dry and clean instead of sweet. I love that it’s unisex leaning, not overly floral or sugary at all. If you like super sweet perfumes, this might feel boring, but for me it’s exactly the kind of refreshing scent I want when it’s hot and sticky outside. Projection is light to moderate, so don’t expect beast mode. Very Guerlain, very natural-smelling.
I really like this one. The opening is all bright blood orange and clementine, super juicy but not like a basic freshie. Then the leather and amber come in and make it feel warmer, smoother, kinda expensive. It has that Acqua di Parma polish for sure. My only issue is I expected more depth from something with “oud” in the name, but it’s more resinous leather than actual oud to me. Still very wearable and classy. Lasts around 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection.
This feels like a white linen shirt perfume. Simple, classy, and kinda expensive-smelling without trying too hard. I mostly get petitgrain and lemon, with a smooth musky drydown that keeps it from being too sharp. It’s not a wow-factor scent like Delina or BR540, but that’s kinda the point. It’s calm and polished. I’d wear this to work, brunch, errands, basically anywhere I want to smell fresh but not loud. Performance is okay, not amazing. Around 5-6 hours on me, softer after the first hour.

Then it turns warmer with honey and leather, which sounds amazing, but on my skin it gets a bit flat and resinous after an hour. I don’t really get a big oud vibe, more of a polished woody amber. Performance is okay, around 5-6 hours, projection is moderate. It smells classy, just not super memorable or worth chasing unless you already love this style.
This is nice in that easy Guerlain Aqua Allegoria way, but I can’t say it wowed me. I usually side-eye super expensive flankers, but yeah… this is special. Overture 41 feels thicker and smoother than a lot of spicy vanillas I’ve tried. The patchouli isn’t dirty on me, more earthy and plush, and it anchors the vanilla beautifully. There’s also this warm boozy vibe that makes it feel cozy but still very dressed up. It lasts forever, like 12+ hours, and I only need two sprays. Definitely not a safe blind buy because it’s intense, but if you love bold Amouage-style perfumes, this is elite.

The labdanum gives it this ambered, resinous glow and the saffron adds a fancy spicy edge that kinda reminds me of niche Middle Eastern perfumes, but smoother. It’s powerful but not screechy, which I appreciate. If Delina is pink satin, this is black velvet with gold jewelry.
Overture 41 Woman is so extra in the best way. The cinnamon and vanilla are rich and warm, but the incense keeps it from turning into a basic gourmand. It has that Amouage depth where every hour it shifts a little, like one minute spicy, then smoky, then leathery-sweet. I love that it feels feminine without being pretty or delicate. More queen energy than princess energy lol. Projection is strong, so I’d def go easy on sprays. If you like bold perfumes that enter the room before you do, this is incredible.
