This is gorgeous. Not a smoky dive bar whiskey, more like a fancy cocktail with vanilla syrup and golden amber. It smells expensive and comforting at the same time, which is my favorite combo. I wore it out to dinner and kept catching little whiffs from my scarf all night. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but honestly that suits it. It feels intimate and sexy without trying too hard. If you like boozy gourmands but hate super sugary ones, try this.
Honestly this feels richer than a lot of Jo Malone releases. Vanilla Scotch has that classy boozy vibe without going full dessert. I get a soft whiskey opening, then amber and tonka make it creamy and warm. It kinda reminds me of the mood of Angels' Share, but smoother and less cinnamon-heavy. Very wearable, not too loud, but people close to me noticed it immediately. This is such a good cold weather scent and I’d 100% buy a backup.
I love this way more than I expected. The whiskey note is smooth, not harsh or like spilled bar smell, and it melts into this warm tonka/amber thing that feels super cozy. It’s sweet but not cupcake sweet, more like expensive vanilla liqueur in a dim hotel lobby. Jo Malone can be hit or miss for lasting power, but this one actually sticks around on me for 7ish hours, especially on clothes. Def one of the best boozy vanillas I’ve tried.
I enjoy this a lot, but I wouldn’t call it a must-have unless you love soft amber scents. The whiskey is there at the start and gives it a cool boozy sparkle, then it turns into creamy tonka and warm amber pretty quickly. It’s kinda sexy in a quiet way, not loud or super sweet. I could wear this to dinner or even the office if I sprayed lightly. My small gripe is the price for the performance, because I wanted more projection. Still smells beautiful and very easy to wear.
This surprised me in a good way. I was expecting plain vanilla, but the whiskey note gives it this slightly smoky, boozy edge that makes it way more interesting. The amber warms everything up and keeps it from smelling like a dessert candle. It kinda reminds me of the cozy side of By the Fireplace, but smoother and less smoky. Very wearable, very pretty. Minor complaint: it gets a little too soft too fast on my clothes, but on skin it hangs around nicely. Def one of the better Jo Malone vanillas.
Vanilla Scotch is honestly gorgeous, just more subtle than I expected. I get amber and whiskey the most, with a soft sweet tonka base. It’s not sugary cupcake vanilla at all, more grown up and slightly boozy. I love how smooth it is, but part of me wishes it had more punch because the vibe is so good. Projection is kinda soft, so don’t expect beast mode. This feels like a classy fall/winter scent for people who want compliments only from someone standing close.
I really like this one. It opens with that whiskey thing right away, but not in a loud “spilled drink” way, more like a warm vanilla cocktail. The tonka bean makes it creamy and a little powdery, which I love. It feels super cozy, like something I’d wear with a chunky sweater or on a chill date night. My only issue is it sits pretty close after an hour or two, which is very Jo Malone lol. Still, it lasts around 6 hours on my skin and smells expensive without trying too hard.
I was excited for the whiskey note, but tbh this smells more like a polite amber-tonka cologne than a rich boozy vanilla thing. It opens kinda warm and smooth, almost like a watered down cocktail, then settles into a soft sweet skin scent. Not bad at all, just a bit too safe for the name. If you like subtle Jo Malone scents you might enjoy it, but if you’re expecting something deep like Angels’ Share territory, nope. Projection is weak on me and it fades faster than I’d like.
This is nice in a very Jo Malone way — smooth, easy, not too loud. I get more tonka and amber than actual boozy whiskey, which was a little disappointing because I wanted that warm scotch vibe to hit harder. It’s cozy and slightly sweet, but it never really develops into anything super interesting on my skin. Good for layering maybe, or for someone who wants a soft gourmand-ish scent without smelling like dessert. Lasted around 5-6 hours but stayed pretty close. Decent, just not something I’d rush to buy full size.
I wanted this to be a cozy boozy vanilla situation, but on me it’s mostly sharp whiskey with a weird flat sweetness underneath. The tonka bean tries to make it creamy, but it never really gets there, and the amber feels thin instead of warm. It kinda smells like someone spilled a cocktail on a cashmere sweater, but not in a sexy way lol. Also performance is super meh for the price… maybe 4 hours and then it’s basically gone. Not horrible, just really underwhelming.
Tangerine & Honey is one of those perfumes that sounds simple but smells expensive and addictive. I get sweet tangerine right away, bright but not sharp, and then this smooth honey note that feels warm without going syrupy. The tobacco leaf gives it a tiny grown-up twist, which I really appreciate because otherwise it could’ve been too cute. It’s fresh, warm, and super easy to reach for. I wore it to brunch and kept catching little whiffs from my scarf all day. Not loud, just very pretty and polished. Highly recommend if you like citrus but want something softer.
This one surprised me because I expected just another citrus, but nope, it’s way prettier. The tangerine opens sparkling and juicy, then the honey comes in and gives it this soft, almost nectar-like sweetness. It kinda reminds me of a lighter, more casual version of those sunny Mediterranean orange scents, but with that Jo Malone polished feel. The tobacco leaf is subtle but really makes it interesting, like a dry warmth in the background. Projection isn’t beast mode but people notice it when they’re near you. Perfect for spring/summer, but honestly I’d wear it year round.
I love this so much, it’s honestly one of the happiest Jo Malone scents I’ve tried. The tangerine is super juicy and bright, but the honey makes it feel soft and golden instead of like a basic citrus cologne. I also get a tiny bit of tobacco leaf underneath, not smoky, more like a warm dry edge that keeps it from being too sweet. It feels really natural and easy to wear, like clean skin after sitting in the sun. Lasts around 6 hours on me which is great for Jo Malone. Def a 5/5.
Tbh this might be my favorite Jo Malone citrus. It has that bright tangerine sparkle right away, but the honey makes it round and almost golden instead of sharp. I was worried it would be too sweet, but nope, it’s smooth and fresh with a little tobacco leaf warmth underneath. Kinda reminds me of those effortless expensive-smelling scents people wear on vacation, but this works year-round. Performance surprised me too — I still catch it on my clothes the next day. Highly recommend if you want citrus that feels classy and addictive.
This isn’t trying to be weird or dramatic, and that’s exactly why I’m obsessed. Tangerine & Honey smells clean, sunny, and lightly sweet, like a really nice weekend shirt fresh out of the closet. The tangerine is realistic and juicy, then the tobacco leaf adds this soft earthy edge that makes it feel more niche than the name suggests. I could see someone saying it’s simple, but to me it’s perfectly balanced. It layers beautifully too, especially with woodier scents. 5/5 because I actually reach for it constantly.
Okay this one is an instant mood booster. It smells like peeling a fresh tangerine outside on a warm day, but with a soft honey glow that makes it feel super comforting. I don’t get a huge tobacco blast, more like a subtle leafy dryness keeping it grown up. That’s what I love about it — it’s cheerful without smelling childish. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people notice it when they’re near you. Honestly one of the prettiest citrus scents I’ve tried from Jo Malone.
This is gorgeous. I usually like Jo Malone but some of them vanish in like 20 minutes on me… not this one. Tangerine & Honey actually sticks around and smells expensive the whole time. The opening is sparkling tangerine, then it gets smoother and slightly sweet, almost like warm citrus peel with a little tobacco leaf in the background. Nothing smoky or heavy, just enough to make it interesting. It’s fresh but not boring, sweet but not sticky. I’d wear this to brunch, work, dates, literally anywhere.
I love this way more than I expected. The tangerine is so juicy and bright, but it’s not that cheap bathroom-cleaner citrus vibe at all. There’s this soft honeyed warmth underneath that makes it feel cozy and polished, and the tobacco leaf gives it a tiny bit of depth so it doesn’t disappear into basic cologne territory. Super easy to wear but still feels special. On me it lasts around 6-7 hours, which is honestly great for Jo Malone. Def one of those scents that makes people lean in and ask what you’re wearing.
Not gonna lie, this isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s done so well. The tangerine is fresh and sparkly without being sharp, and the honey sweetness keeps it from feeling boring. I get a faint tobacco leaf dryness later, which I actually love because it stops the whole thing from becoming too cute. It kinda reminds me of those easy Jo Malone scents you reach for when you don’t want to think too hard. Minor flaw is the price for the performance… it’s nice, but not beast mode at all. Still, I’d happily wear it a lot.
This smells like peeling a tangerine near a cup of sweet tea. Super easy to like. The opening is bright and realistic, then it settles into a gentle honey-citrus thing with a dry tobacco leaf touch in the background. It’s not sexy or dramatic, but it feels clean, cozy, and expensive in a quiet way. If you like loud citrus perfumes, this might feel too soft. On me it lasts about 6 hours but projection is pretty moderate. I’d def wear this spring through early fall, especially daytime.
